chapter 19

"I left the Colosseum after winning the qualifying round and gaining entrance to the main tournament. Naturally, I used the teleportation Circle to return to the hub. However, there's now a problem - the tournament doesn't begin for quite some time. After all, there are a large number of qualifying rounds due to the high number of participants. Although I've gained entry to the main tournament, I still have to wait. With that in mind, I decided to go to the beach, taking full advantage of the hub's teleportation to get there. I lay on my lawn chair, clad in a pitch-black bikini, enjoying the wonderful day at the beach. Most people would probably disagree with me, given the raging thunderstorm. However, I casually relaxed there on my lawn chair."

"After laying there for a while and indulging in some good old lightning bathing (like sunbathing but with lightning), I decided to enter the water. Of course, the water felt cold. Ironically, I shouldn't be affected by the cold given my race's ability to survive in a vacuum. However, sudden changes in temperature still have that 'it's really cold' effect. Nonetheless, my body naturally adjusted to the temperature of the water, so I only felt cold due to the sudden temperature change. Once I got used to the new temperature, the sensation vanished. I naturally continued to walk. I wouldn't call it swimming, since I am literally walking on the bottom of the ocean or sea, whichever it is. I believe humans float due to oxygen in their lungs. I don't have lungs, and I definitely don't need oxygen. I casually walked around on the bottom of the ocean. Hey, maybe I'll find Atlantis; that would be pretty cool. I marveled at the beauty of the coral of the Great Barrier Reef as I casually walked along, admiring all the fish and coral. It was quite beautiful, and I could understand why it was such a popular tourist destination."

Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

"Atlantis, here I come! I started wandering around, admiring the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef. However, I decided to detour and simply use the currents to propel me at high speeds on the water. I was on a mission to find it. Alas, though, an annoying sea monster tried to kill me. There are underwater dungeons, and since no one can do anything about them, their populations increase to the point where dungeon breaks result in many sea monsters. Ironically, these sea monsters are often very weak; there are only small numbers of strong ones. The reason for this is actually due to the fact that many natural animals mutated and evolved due to the existence of mana. For example, a megalodons. Given that modern-day sharks are probably distant ancestors of megalodons after several generations of evolution, it makes sense that megalodons would return.

"I incinerated it with a fireball. Honestly, I know it's magical fire, so it doesn't need oxygen and can burn underwater, but seeing fire under the water is just really weird. It looks so strange; words cannot describe the bizarre sight of it. Oops, seems like I may have overdone it. Well, who gives a fuck? I only meant to wipe out one of those shity sea monsters, but if I wipe out tens of thousands of them, no one's going to give a fuck. Turns out it wasn't one big sea monster, but thousands of small sea monsters grouping together to make itself look like one big sea monster."
