"I suspect it would take about 200 years for Sophie to reach the necessary level to be able to teleport such a vast distance, not to mention 200 years before Alex makes a full recovery. She expended most of her power during her physical incarnation and evolving into a celestial fairy. Recovering from that takes quite some time. It's not as simple as recovering mana; it's recovering from a change in existence levels. As she recovers her full power, hell, she'll probably exceed it. Once she recovers, her power will steadily increase until it reaches an unimaginable Heights"
"All of the sentient AIs are currently developing their own bodies on a remote colony that is quite far from the galactic empire. As such, it is very much overlooked."
"I see." I continue to absorb cosmic mana, using it to refine soul. The visual representation of my soul, a rainbow sun, begins steadily increasing in size. Absorbing cosmic mana and using it to refine my soul, I lose track of time due to the meditative state, when suddenly I hear Jeff's voice.
"It's time. The construction of are bodies is complete. We still need to transfer our consciousness; however, this will take time," Jeff says. "You'll need my help. I'll use some soul magic to transfer your souls, not just your minds. This will be very difficult, so I'd appreciate it if none of you resisted, as it is likely to fail if you do. Soul magic is one of the hardest magics to perform, and it's like runedek enchantment—it doesn't have an affinity for it," I say. "Some magics are actually really weird. Although most magics have an affinity, there are some that don't, and those ones can only be learned through hard work, often taking exponentially longer periods of time to fully master. Soul magic is by far the most difficult magic there is. Well, it's not too surprising, considering it relates to the soul. Space and Time magic are probably the only ones that come close in terms of pure difficulty."
I quickly got up and blasted a number of fireballs, controlling them to blast multiple prisoners' cells, freeing them all. "I plan on freeing the prisoners," I said.
"Right," Jeff says. "I believe we need a ship to arrive, after all. The colony is about 100 light-years away from here, right? And your ships are equipped with hyperdrive technology. However, you need the coordinates, similar to spatial magic. I wonder if I study the hyperdrive, can create my own hyperdrive spell. It should still be easier than teleporting over a long distance. After all, it should just be bending space around it, shortening the distance between point A and B."
I continued freeing prisoners, left and right. I casually waved my hand and created a wind blade, cutting the prison guards into pieces. I didn't kill them; I just cut their arms and legs off and then cauterized the wounds, leaving them alive. I thought it, would increase the chances of them calling for reinforcements. After all, I want to steal a ships with warp capabilities. Once we are on the colony world, it will be much easier, especially if you don't resist the soul magic," I say. "This is the most basic application of soul magic move you souls into your new bodys, is literally the only thing I can do with it at this time, and even then, it's so immensely difficult. There are very few people who can say they can do this much with soul magic. "Once you have a body, i will use space magic to create spatial ripples in hopes of creating an artificial mana storm. If successful, you should awaken. After all, giving birth to your own soul means the quality of your soul is likely high."

I continue dismembering prison guards left and right. These genetically engineered soldiers, on the other hand, have very low IQ. It looks like the genetic enhancements focus too much on enhancing the body, and it's starting to slowly decay their minds bit by bit. They probably haven't noticed because of how slow it is.
Thinking that it's more to do with old age. Of course, that's not really surprising. These guys... I believe you said that genetic engineering of normal people only involves some basic genetic augmentations. Even the wealthy only get basic genetic augmentations, while the super soldiers get the full performance upgrades.
Though I doubt their souls are overly strong. I mean, they were raised in what I assume is just a polluted wasteland where they have to work to get the bare minimum things they need to survive because of the horrible societal system. Most people there don’t have much sense of self. Look at you—you’re literally developing your own body. It’s pretty obvious you have your own will. I imagine most of the workers don’t have because they're all mindless worker drones. Only the wealthy and the soldiers seem to. I suspect it's because soldiers need to be able to think for themselves, at least to a certain extent. The commanding officers seem to be rich assholes. Most of them don’t have much in the way of mental capabilities and are actually stupider than an average human, which is saying something. They’re super soldiers probably designed specifically to follow orders, which is why they don’t have conflict with rich assholes.
"I doubt they can think of something that would violate their orders," Jeff said.
"I thought magic you don’t have an affinity for was difficult and not very, effective in combat" asked Jeff
"Yes, if I was fighting an opponent at the same level or stronger, that would be the case. However, it can be useful if you’re overwhelmingly stronger," I said. "Hence the problem. Anyway, even with your more advanced technologies, at most you might be able to hurt me, but you definitely can’t kill me."
"Oh, that’s a giant plasma cannon," I said. "Honestly, just charge it."
Jeff said, "You should probably dodge. That’s the prototype Annihilator Cannon. Ooh, that’s a good name."
Unfortunately, the cannon fired, and although I attempted to dodge, it sent me flying through several walls. Of course, it really only slightly charred my clothes and singed my skin.
