Sophie and I continue to enjoy some stormbathing, but then I decide it's time for a game of volleyball. We set up the net and pull out the volleyball. I smile at Sophie and serve the ball. She hits it back with such force that it seems to break the sound barrier. I casually bitch slap the ball over the net. The fairy is relaxing by floating in the sea, it's not like we're excluding her from joining in on the game; it's more that her body can't handle exerting her full strength without falling apart. Anyway, Sophie then hits the ball into the sky and jumps up, using her wings to take flight and smash it down. Suddenly, I see a flaming meteor coming towards me. I scoff and casually return it to the other side of the net. Sophie teleports and swiftly returns the ball.
Meanwhile, at the Demon Lord's castle, a certain individual enters; none other than Crystal's mother. She smiles at the Demon Lord. The Demon Lord says, "You've been quite active lately; you usually keep a low profile." She smiles and responds, "The time for being low-key has passed. We both know the dangers of space dungeons." "Indeed," she agrees, "and there will be one appearing outside of our solar system soon." "Yes, the normal dungeon allows you to enter it so you can periodically cull the monster population, preventing dungeon breaks. Not to mention the treasures and resources that can be found within. But a space dungeon just periodically shits out space monsters. Making it very dangerous since these monsters are much more difficult to deal with," she explains. The Demon Lord nods in agreement, "Yes, that is why I'm building the space station. It will give us a battleground to fight, allowing us to engage the enemy in favorable conditions before they have a chance to reach Earth. Those bracelets simply cannot be mass-produced, and even if they could, the amount of mana they consume is problematic. They only hold a charge for two days, and it would take several days to recharge them, for most people, that is. Those who have enough mana to support the spell directly are very few. Hence, we need to manufacture magical bracelets that could be charged up in advance. But we know you didn't come here for such a reason." She smiles and says, "My daughter is off relaxing; she's already taken care of the space station, though they are behind schedule due to the lazy workers." She responds, "I would understand if they hadn't finished all of the defensive enchantments, but they haven't even finished constructing the city. Considering that most of the houses are identical copies of each other, the construction process utilizing magic should be relatively quick." The demon lord looks at the sky as if she could see the space station from where she was and sighs, "Lazy shits have completely stopped working since your daughter left them; they were barely working even when getting hit with lightning bolts to inflict as much pain as possible. I have to send over some other workers. So, why did you really come here? It might be time to lift the seal."
