"Some humans are good at blaming me for their own misdeeds, trying to push all the blame onto me as if they themselves are innocent, pure and noble. Let me tell you, don't try to deceive yourself and others. Join me in hell!" - Satan's proclamation (Revelation)
Chen Xu looked at the mysterious woman who suddenly appeared in his hotel with a playful gaze, shamelessly scanning her body before retracting his seemingly hot gaze and saying: "You just ran away but now you're here. I'm curious."
"We're not enemies; more accurately speaking, we should be of the same kind," said the mysterious woman.
"The same kind?" Chen Xu's gaze became even more playful as he revealed a strange smile.
"Yes." The mysterious woman found Chen Xu's behavior strange but continued: "I sensed power from your disciple that is different from ordinary people; it is the power possessed by those who practice like us."
"I practice ancient Egyptian magic." Chen Xu did not hide his intentions and directly stated his goal: "I came here to resurrect Qin Shihuang. I think you will stop me."
This woman was Zi Yuan from "The Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor". Chen Xu recognized her at first glance because she looked exactly like she did in the movie.
"Why do you want to resurrect Qin Shihuang?" Zi Yuan asked calmly. "Give me a reason. You should understand that once Qin Shihuang is resurrected, it will bring about doomsday for the entire world."
"As expected," Chen Xu laughed when he saw Zi Yuan's reaction; he knew his guess was correct.
In the movie, Zi Yuan had no anger towards Qin Shihuang's resurrection; on the contrary, she hoped that after he was revived, he would be killed completely.
"I hope Qin Shihuang can be resurrected because China needs him," said Chen Xu after a moment of contemplation, revealing his thoughts: "The Qing Dynasty has already been overthrown, but the organization for its restoration is still active. It's not just the Manchus; there are also many so-called old and young remnants who are attempting to restore it."
"Foreigners ride on our heads and defecate and urinate on us without any respect. The various dictatorial warlords fight each other viciously while being cruel to their own people and subservient to foreigners."
"The Japanese sharpen their knives towards pigs and sheep in the east."
"I want this land of China to break free from such a situation. We need a hero."
"And this hero can only be Qin Shihuang."
"So you came looking for Qin Shihuang?" Zi Yuan sat cross-legged in front of Chen Xu. "But you should understand that he was a tyrant."
"Whether he was a tyrant or not has nothing to do with me," said Chen Xu as he also sat cross-legged, closing his eyes and entering into an extraordinary state: "Chinese people need a hero to lead them in rebellion, and during this process, necessary bloodshed and sacrifice will pave the way for better times in the future."
Everyone had to admit that this era was one of China's biggest nightmares, second only to the periods when foreign invaders entered during the end of Song dynasty/start of Yuan dynasty or at the end/beginning of Ming/Qing dynasties.
"You don't care about all those lives lost?" Zi Yuan lamented sorrowfully. "Qin Shihuang was a tyrant; how many years did they die building The Great Wall? How many people died because of wars he started? And yet you still want him resurrected so that he can live forever?"
"I don't care how many people died; it concerns our Chinese nation - descendants of Yan Huang - we can fight amongst ourselves, but we absolutely cannot allow foreigners to attack us," Chen Xu's eyes sparkled with determination. "My mind is made up; anyone who tries to stop me will be
"I know your background, Ziyuan. You are an ancient witch, immortal and powerful. But I am not afraid of you. I offer sacrifices to the gods, and my power is just as pure as yours."
The greatest benefit of offering sacrifices to the gods is the incomparably pure power it provides. This immense yet pure power can be infused into anyone's body through sacrifice. There are almost no level restrictions - sacrificing a world's creatures could directly break through into legendary or epic realms.

Although Ziyuan has been practicing for thousands of years, she seems to have reached her limit in terms of progress. Unless she encounters some fortuitous opportunity, it would be difficult for her to advance further through her own efforts alone. This is also why she has been practicing for thousands of years but still cannot compare with Qin Shihuang."
There are checkpoints on the road for toll collection; similarly, there are also checkpoints in one's spiritual journey for toll collection. In the Eastern Heavenly Path, merit is collected as payment, while in the Western gods' realm, sacrifices are offered. However, those who practice cultivation have their own way of breaking through these checkpoints without accumulating merit or offering sacrifices to the gods. They rely solely on their own strength to forcefully break through and open up these checkpoints.
Some succeed and continue smoothly with their cultivation at an incredible speed until they encounter the next checkpoint. Others fail and struggle to find a way past it.
"I admit defeat," said Ziyuan humbly. "I have never witnessed nor heard of your power before since you're Chinese and should be aware of Emperor Qin Shi Huang's tyranny and his resurrection which has brought disaster upon our people."
"But this disaster has already happened," argued Chen Xu firmly. "I want to put an end to it even if it means causing another disaster. Foreigners may have destroyed our hearts but not our spirit as we refuse to become slaves or let them turn us from a civilized ancient nation into slaves."
"I've planned a massive war in the West that will involve most countries - this war will be China's chance for resurgence."
"Huaxia must rise, but not under the leadership of Qin Shihuang," said Ziyuan slowly and deliberately. "When Qin Shihuang unified the six kingdoms, what did he do? He burned books and buried Confucian scholars alive, enforced harsh laws..."
"Wrong." Chen Xu interrupted Ziyuan. "Burning books and burying Confucian scholars was necessary."
Indeed, in that era, Confucianism was pure and good. But later on, after it became the only accepted ideology, it became corrupt and hindered China's progress.
Chen Xu didn't know what kind of world technology would develop into in the future or whether it would lead to a collapse of society at its peak. However, he knew that if technology had developed earlier than his time period then Chinese people wouldn't have suffered such humiliation.
As for Confucianism being responsible for this downfall - naturally Chen Xu hated them.
"The various schools of thought should debate with each other to determine who is right instead of abandoning all other ideas just because they don't align with so-called 'Confucian' values. This is wrong; it's reversing history."
Chen Xu spoke passionately: "You've lived for thousands of years and seen everything there is to see in this world - don't you understand how things work? When a dynasty rises up from nothingness its people suffer; when a dynasty falls apart its people suffer even more."
"If everyone suffers anyway then why not make their suffering brief? Only Qin Shihuang had the ability to expel invaders quickly while restoring peace with minimal pain inflicted upon his subjects."
"He alone could accomplish this feat - no one else in the entire world could do what he did!"
"We need a hero! The Chinese people need a hero! And that hero can only be Qin Shihuang!"
Chen Xu transformed into an intellectual giant as he shouted out his anger towards this era.
People of this time period had no idea what kind of disaster was about to befall them. Nor did they know how much future generations would despise the atrocities committed during their time.
They were ignorant, but Chen Xu knew better. He understood that in the future, the Chinese nation and its descendants would have to endure unimaginable hardships.
When a country prospers or falls apart, it is everyone's responsibility. Since Chen Xu had arrived in this era he was determined to change its course - even if it meant sacrificing himself for the cause.
"I don't understand," Ziyuan said quietly. She couldn't comprehend why Chen Xu held such beliefs and wanted to change them.
"This world will give birth to heroes who belong here," she continued optimistically while pointing at people below who were striving for their dreams. "They are all great heroes."
"Heroes?" Chen Xu sneered; history has proven that those people weren't enough to save China from ruin. They fought each other over territory while ignoring impending danger.
"Yes, there were indeed heroes after the Japanese invasion, but they only acted after Japan had caused harm. He wants to nip danger in the bud."
"Our perspectives are separated by an entire era. You can't convince me and I can't convince you either."
"Regardless, I will awaken Qin Shihuang and his army, flatten all the mountains weighing down on us Chinese people, and return them a clean and free sky."
Chen Xu said firmly. His ideas could not be changed by anyone in this era.
"But..." Zi Yuan tried one last effort. She listed all the harsh laws and evil deeds during the Qin Dynasty with hopes of changing Chen Xu's mind.
"Strict laws are necessary. True citizens won't steal or oppress others; good officials won't embezzle money. However, he is indeed out of touch with his time."
Zi Yuan was delighted as she thought she had changed Chen Xu's mind but before she could speak again, he interrupted her: "But I will persuade him."
"He is a tyrant - King Qin himself - who thinks he is supreme and smarter than anyone else. He cannot accept your opinions."
"It doesn't matter; many people think they are supreme and smarter than everyone else throughout history's founding emperors like Li Shimin or Zhu Yuanzhang were no different from him," replied Chen Xu.
"As long as he expels foreign invaders, restores our land, I can tolerate all his flaws to help him eliminate those sinners."
