As we followed the group they started to approach forest ahead. There isn´t any places to go if you go there. They were going north. It was strange because if they are from nortern border then they are approaching their homes. Thing is they have come from west path. It is understandable since only road here is the west road. But they are going here, why?

This is simple forest road which isn´t going anywhere. In second thought there was one hunter living here. It is very unlikely he has any reason or doing with this. He is as antisocial as human can get. If no one had seen him sometimes they would thought that he is one of those lost races like dwarfs.

Before I knew it we saw strange sign.

Place to sleep and eat. Also when coming with more than ten people there is discount. Welcome.

What is that? Only one living here is that loner hunter. He hasn´t welcomed anyone ever. Something strange is going on. At least we know now where that 20 people group where heading for. They are going to stay here and more are coming. Sadly we can´t strike them here, but at least we can lookout for them here.

It is quite obvious that they are going to stay here. They are probably waiting rest of the soldiers to arrive. Even when we know that is the case, we can´t do anything. There isn´t anything illigal to walk around in the group.

The next thing I knew, I got the short stick. I was choosen to spy on them as customer. At least that part is normal and easy but not in this case. I personally know this place´s owner and we can´t deal with each other.

I have come here many times to ask him to join with the marquis but he always refuse it without giving any change to discuss about it. Of course everyone has right to choose but he hasn´t got any reason to disagree. In fact he is gaining more than he would give out.

I just can´t deal with a person how doesn´t understand great oppotunity which represent itself without any work from his part. Althought marquis has said it is alright to give up on him and move on.

I just can´t do that. Everyone else looks away when he is moving outside, but I have always stared at him. If I look away it feels like I´m allowing him to stay this way. I know he is a good person. Maybe he has past which justify his actions. Either way I can´t just let it be and pretent that it doesn´t exist.

”What? You again. Give up already. I´m not going to listen to anything you want to talk about. Get out!”

His temper is as bad as it used to. No matter it would have been strange if he would have happily welcomed me here.

”I´m tired to talk about that anymore. I just want to buy stay here for the rest of the week. That isn´t so hard to do.”

Even if I can´t get in this is enough. Since this arguing would bring unwelcomed attention. Those soldiers can´t continue operate here any longer. They have to plan from the beginning once more. This will give us time to prepare for them.

”I have no idea what you are talking about. If you are trying to make excuses you should try harder. Everything you are trying to say make no sense.”

Here we go again. More excuses and trying to show his innocent. Does he have no sense? More he try more quilty he becomes. I knew it was mistake to come here but I can´t retreat now. If villages find out what happened here then they would blame soldiers incompetentness. That can´t happen.

”We know you are hidding spies in your home. If you would like to show me your house I won´t bother you no longer.”

”Why would I let you move things that I own when I haven´t done anything bad? I won´t let you trash my home if you want to. It is time to you to leave!”

That isn´t a person you can dealt with. I have made my point so I start by being better human been. Even if he won´t rejoice my act I will do it.

”In that case let´s make this a warning. I´m going out but you should kick out all of them. If we find concrete evidence we will come again. Have a good day.”

”Yeah. Yeah. Alright you can go freely but don´t do any similar thing to others. You can do your work without doing so horrendous acts. I hope we will meet in better situations.”

Both of them let thing go past without knowing non of them knew even a part of the truth. Both of them acted as better human but they both could have done thing better. Fortunately war exercise ended by similar reasons as just now. Althought in the future the worst situation was avoided because of this. It still doesn´t mean that we can´t talk thing out. It is important to know what people wants from us. We can put to account because of it. How knows?

Elsewhere George and the rest of the group meet each other properly for the first time. They firstly came across the warning sign where man with a another sign behind him. He was pointing toward mark on a tree which was next to small path. It was well hidden but ones noticed it was easy to go throught it. They srated by waiting explanation from Viscount Albert and that strange man.

After a while black hooded man came to us. He signed us to stay quiet and stay done. Soon we noticed that we were tailed without us knowing about it. That was too close. At least they seemed to be local soldiers. Thanks to it there was no danger but if they would have been thiefs then thing would had gone completely differently. They knew at some case they would have to own their lives to him.

Unfortunately that doesn´t mean that this isn´t some well planned trap to mislead us. But soon this delusion came to stop thanks to Albert´s words.

”Before anything else thank you for helping us. We wouldn´t have managed without you.”

”Sorry, but what is your name?”

”You should name yourself first in addition I have reason for keeping my name as a secret. I hope this doesn´t go against your principles.” Man opened his mouth for the first time.

There was hardly any sound. He has hurt his throat or he is desperately avoiding talks. I shouldn´t bother him no more. George has recommented him personally. He hasn´t have any mistakes from that front. When that man act that suspiciously then George would have been apsolutely sure from his character.

”I understand. I´m viscount of Tetrao village and my name is Rowan Albert. I´m clad to make you my acquaintance.”

I explained everything I knew except the fact that some spy might be around us. Of course it wasn´t easy to explain everything. No doubt about it. They must be concious about spies.

There isn´t no deed to make any preparations against them. Since they will act when they think it is right time to act. Even if we would prepare something then they just simply avoid that way doing things. It is better keep guard up against everything than prepare and become blind to something else.

Spy(ies) might even be scared of since no plans has been made. They would have to think something is prepared which slow down their plans. Either way George has apsolutely planned something against them without us knowing about it. He might even be looking us right now.

George has looked them and get to know about them. Unfortunately he can´t introduce himself just yet but that isn´t his only problem. Albert is thinking that he has prepared something amazing behind the scenes.

There isn´t any kind of plan. He just understood more than there really was. Now I have to prepare to the future some way without them noticing about it. It would be embarassing to show myself now.

Of course one easy way to act is to leave with excuse to contact to himself but what should I do after it. Spying, sabotage and rumor making just to name a few. Best option would be finding allies.
