”Hurry up and stop moving! You must stop boats moving forward! There is waterfall in front of us!”

Good thing was army soldiers noticed danger right away, but people behind them coulnd´t stop soon enough. They collided with leading boats and caused everyone moving forward without any change to stop it. Since every time someone managed to stop someone collided again from behind.

Scream of despair was everywhere. No one knew what to do. This caused even more panic. Situation wasn´t completely hopeless, if boats would move directly forward. When count Ben got out he saw sight of enemies on the boat ready to fire arrows. Polgon kingdom army did go around from yourth river to towards the waterfall. They were ready to fire quite some time. Finally it was time to show viscount Albert Rowan´s archers skills.

This moment was actually the first time Tetrao village´s soldiers started to fight very first time. They have been training for years. Some even from Albert´s dad´s times. Thisc was moment when Tetrao village started their first battle.

Normally water in waterfall was clean and easy to see through, but now it was red. Last time when river was red was when civil war was in Dialkas empire, which was from fifty years ago.

”Hurry up! Don´t you see our leader is under fire. Everyone regroup.”

”Continue fire. Count Ben is in front of us. We can win this.”

Polgon kingdom soldiers were firing rapidly as they could. They didn´t have time to surround them by land too. Because of that enemy has a change to retreat into the forest. They must hurry with their attack. Even if arrow resulses would heavily decrease.

Suddenly bullroarer´s sound was heard. ”what is happening Herman? Did Sepro find something?”

”Yes and no. He is thinking we should lead enemy to the west side of the river into back to Tetrao village.”

”Why?”

Viscount Albert was suprised of this proposal. Why should they make enemy retreat when they could end this war now.

”Unfortunately we don´t have time to make sure. I think this have to be choosen now or never.”

And so count Ben got a change to get into the savety, but not unharmed.

”Ahh! This is way more painfull than I thought. Could you help me get this arrow out of my stomack?”

”Of course I can count Ben. Let me just find something that I can close it afterwards.” William was army medic. Thankfully they could escape from that situation. Only reason why Ben is still allive is because of boat which was brought in front of him by William. It was miracle that they manage to leave this kind of attack. ”They will pay for this.”

Commander Henrik word resonated in people´s minds. But one person didn´t think so, that was count Ben. ”They let us retreat.” This made everyone quiet. No one expected this kind of words. No one could say anything back anymore. They lost the change when people stayed quiet over many minutes.

”I mean it was clear that they pushed us to this side. I don´t know what was other side of the river, but it have to be something important. Also look at how many are left of us. We came with 2000 men cavalry, 3000 infantry and 200 archers and now we have only 500 men left. Our enemy can move everywhere. We can´t win this war anymore. We have to wait 500 men how are defending river against enemy allies. Now most important part is to survive from the very begining. I don´t apologize if any of you dies anymore.”

These were order hehad thought when they attacked from the swamp but only know he could say them. War was over from very beginning. They were played by as children. How could have planned all of this. Ben and Henrik knew that behind of all of this was a dangerous person how should be dealt with.

”Viscount Albert might be way more dangerous we ever thought.”

”why did you allow enemy to retreat. We could have won the war right then.” Albert was talking after the battle with Sepro. Althought he didn´t have much to say to the boy since no man was killed.

”I was simply worried about if they would retreat to the other side. That island is easy to defend and also it is in their territory. Thanks to that they can bring more soldiers to support them. Also war is already over. We have manage to deal with the most of the enemy. We just have to wait for soldiers how were defending riverfrom our ally forces. They propably will leave together when they meet each other tomorrow evening.”

”I see. Know it is clear why you did so. Can I also guess that you also want to find two lost soldiers in a hurry?”

Sepro stayed silent since there was no need for words anymore. Albert understood and leaved the place. He was heading to the king. Althought the king took the leading part of the retreat. He was happy to be help for others. Suprisingly he didn´t look so well.

”Your highness are you alright? You don´t look so well.”

”Sorry to make you worry. It is just I haven´t experienced this kind of massagre before previously.”

”I can releate with that. I´m way more tired than I thought I would. I can´t imagine how enemy is thinking right now. Also I would like to keep this battle hidden from the rest of the country. You should make Nicolas take full responsibility for this battle.”

”I see. You want to keep those two boys save. Am I correct that Herman is your son and that other child id your wife´s sister´s child.?”

Albert just nod.

”In that case I must reward them with some other way.”

”I didn´t expect anything like this when I came here to seel my products.”

”Don´t complain. Do you know how much soldiers fought for to keep us save?”

”I know. I was just bursting out some tress with was around me in these couple of days.”

People talking where tradespeople how were got in middle of war without any way out. Normally in these situation these men were going to die. Of course this time there was no damage dealt to them, but they have to leave their trade products behind. There is huge change enemy has been vandalizing their livehood.
