My parents opposited with viscount since I´m going the most dangerous place of all. Situation is now different. Every word from Albert is now same as the king. That´s why my father Edvart came with me. We are going to the swamp which is part of the third/fourth river. It is area which is difficult to use since it is open bog. River goes through the bog so it is difficult to move in it. If you don´t know what you are doing the most likely person is going to sank into the swamp.

I personally haven´t never been here since we have been warned by grownups. Only reason why we are worried about this place is because of sandblasting. There is road made by workers for purpose of quick travel. This path is dry so people can gross over the swamp. Fortunately path is small and only goes in one direction. Even turning around in some places is dangerous.

Plan is to stop enemy attack and make them retreat. This plan is the safest way to deal with the enemy without any ally losses. But is this the best possible action?

Enemy is most likely preparing to camp in the swamp and wait us to come or trying to escape as we speak. Henrik you can do what has to be done.

Loud voice was heard all around them which was also heard clealry to the opposite side.

Everyone flinched because of loud voice and high morale. This made doubt rise in everyone´s minds. Can we stop this army? Everyone asked this guestion in their minds.

We are going to be massacred. Many enemies are going to fall but they will break through our defensive formation. Everyone knew that this isn´t going to work.

Orders were told to Polgon kingdom´s head general Nicolas. Hold the swamp at least until night fall. There is only 50 men here. Viscount didn´t think enemy would try to attack while place is heavily guarded. Head general could react as he sees suitable to the situation until night fall.

Night isn´t coming anytime soon. This stronghold need to keep save. Enemy isn´t stupid. They are coming by foot. They have left horses behind so we can´t make them fall to the swamp.

Even I can tell this isn´t going to work. Path to here is narrow so fight is 1 vs 50, but that happens thousands of times. We can´t make it alive as thing are going.

Then I remember my childhoods war games with older kids. There is one way.

Dad. Is it possible to split enemy forces? So, that enemy´s main force and maintenance troops are split up from each other.

If it could be done that would be second best option after enemy forces surrendering. Why you ask this right now?

I think it is possible. We could mislead main forces to think that we are here while we are making suprise attack into their middle troop from the rearguard. We could use arrow to cut enemy forces while they can´t turn around and try fight us back. Everyone here are experienced swampskiers. Without food or water enemy main force would take serious hit. Of course that also means our retreat path would be cut and we have to fight two different battle fronts.

While explaining head general Nicolas heard our talk. He understood the idea was interesting and in addition they could cut their command line. Then they don´t know what other half of the troops are doing. But at the same time the risk is great. Fighting two fronts at the same time could mean complete defeat. Orders were clear to defend place with all cost.

What is the best option? Can we even win this battle no matter which plan we use?

His experience told him to stay with the plan but his heart said to trust your men. They can handler battle even in the attacks from two directions. Enemy army´s morale is large and only way to stop it is use second plan.

War horns sound was heard in the swamp and vanguard was starting to attack. Henrik was in front of the forces followed by his most trusted men. They all were confident that they all will survive this confrontation. Forces were 3000 which was devided by six 500 men troops. Fourth troop was maintenance.

Plan was simple break through and capture the king. If possile the prince too. In other words they would continue going south until they over take king´s force. It is possible since to go from here to Orseas capital person must go over the first river. Only way to do it is wait boat to arrive and that boat comes only two times per day.

King can´t escape us!

They all continued going forward until they saw stronghold. It seems like it is empty.

They attacked to the maintenanse troops from the rear! They gave up the vanguard!

Henrik knew then they have fallen for even more dangerous trap that they even thought.

Despare was heard from middle of swamp. Everyone thought that hell was after the swamp but hell was in middle of it. Battle started where no one even considered at the beginning.

This battle was the first time world knew power that shake the world in the future. That war was called in the future border war. War started at first to change border line but after the war lines between the border were even more difficult to see.

Back at that time no one knew what kind of world would form into because of Sepro and Herman.
