My Haunted Elementary School Year

In the six years of middle school I spent, my last year was the most memorable and not for good memories and stuff like that. You see, I was sixth year student. I was at the highest floor, 5th or 6th floor of the second building. For the first months, it was a normal regular school life but after a certain incident, things turned out of control.

There was a bathroom for the main building and the secondary building. I've always used the secondary building since it was close. I've only visited that place when we were near graduation though. But the incident that happened there was the start of everything... all the bizarre horrors that occured at school that put the whole place in chaos! I had several friends who decided to ,for some stupid unknown reason, record their trip to the main building bathroom. But there was a catch. In that video, they caught an evil spirit. Spirits can't be classified as evil just because their dead, but believe me when I say that after all the chaos and trouble that spirit put us through, calling it an evil spirit is already generous enough.

That spirit began possessing a girl in our class.

That girl was weak spiritually and was often possessed.

I thought it was abnormal but I got used to it after being possessed became a regular occurence. It often happened thrice a week. There was a time I thought it happened everyday. But things took a drastic turn that day... That day, it wasn't only her that was possessed.

The entire building had evil spirits rampaging everywhere! It was chaos I tell you! People were getting possessed left and right. Students were struggling to tie up possessed classmates while teachers were trying to calm the chaotic situation. In our panic, we left our stuff at our classrooms and left. That scene of chaos though... I doubt I'd ever forget it in my fear and panic...

The sight of papers and stuff flying all over... The demonic faces of possessed students... The desperate students trying to tie down the struggling possessed students... The teachers who were clearly having an extremely difficult time trying to restore order... And all the people running and screams of fear...

I only studied at that school cause it was close... But if I knew of the stories regarding that school and it's rumors... I doubt I'd study there.

Rumors including that the school was formerly a hospital... Rumors that it used to be a graveyard...

I've even heard of stories from my classmates.

My classmate, a girl, said that she was alone there in highest floor and met a teacher. I don't remember how that meeting turned out, however, that classmate of mine, when she asked about that teacher, she learned that the teacher she met, was already dead for many long years now...

Once, my little brother who studied there had a boy scout field trip. And of all places, they held their camping at school and slept in the classrooms. And guess where? The second building of all places! I've heard some stuff about that place from my brother. Apparently, he didn't get much sleep. And given what happened... I don't blame him. He's had a rough night. He reported seeing all sorts of spirits of deceased students and other spirits there... With his classmates... However, how could he say that when he was supposed to be sleeping and camping there...? That means he didn't get any sleep at all... I don't know what the heck is wrong with that teacher... Or my brother for that reason... Of all the places to decided to hold a camping event, why a haunted school? Are they used to it? And for my brother... I know grades are important but... If you get a choice of a warm bed and good food or a haunted cold school with spirits to accompany you... Why choose the haunted school of all places... I don't care if I get good grades, I'm not camping in there with ghosts!

Well, after all that chaos, stuff calmed down.

But those damm ghosts played one last prank in my graduation picture.

...In my graduation picture, I was at the top left. There was something strange with how I looked. I was shining white. If my classmates didn't know that I was a student there, they'd have thought I'm a ghost who made sure to make a final memory with them... But of all the people they could have pranked... Why me...?

A peek into a world I wished I never knew

Some time ago, I was running errands for my brother. It wasn't anything big. I just had to help out with some lifting. But a certain crazy thief just made that ordinary day unforgettable.

I was looking toward the area when I heard the people near me make some gasps. I looked at them and saw them staring at something in front of them.

I was puzzled and looked there.

What I saw gave me greatest shock of my entire life.

I saw a woman with colored skin and black hair. Though I didn't look closely, she was quite slender and a beauty maybe. But that's not important. The thing is, she was completely naked in broad daylight. I was stunned.

What on earth is this pervert doing here...?

I entered the place where I was supposed to deal with the lifting and stayed there for a while.

Afterwards, I heard that the woman entered the store adjacent to where I was, stole some clothes and left.

No one bothered to stop her.

...In this world, apparently there are all sorts of crazy lunatics and thieves with unusual methods of thievery that are just plain ridiculous that actually worked.

Why you should always trust instinct

I've heard that instincts should be trusted.

If you follow it, you can stop a tragedy from happening.

And if you don't, expect that tragedy to come straight at your face.

As someone who experienced both, I can guarantee that truth.

For the good part, I once purchased a video with... rather adult content. It had an anime cover to disguise it's contents though. I left it in my bag along with the video player. I was just eating my lunch when a certain feeling nagged into me and I began to run. I headed straight to where my bag was and found my mother leading my little sister to watch that adult video on the video player from my bag.

It was good of my instinct to warn me. Otherwise, there would be a horrific tragedy that would scar my life from henceforth.

For the bad part, I was eating some snacks when I felt a feeling tugging towards my left cheek. I ignored it because I was lost in thought and eating a tasty snack. When it got a bit unbearable, I looked towards my left and found... My classmate kicking a soccer ball towards me. And it hit me. STRAIGHT. AT. MY. FACE. Of course, I got revenge and gave him a piece of my mind.

Good friends

If you're friends with someone and you see something that might harm your friend, stop it. And if you see something that might benefit him, show it to him.

Once, I found the book about martial arts that my friend lost. So I returned it to him.

Another time, I discovered that he got tricked by some senior students that there was no classes on Monday and he believed it. To be honest, I thought it was true but I decided to come just in case. As expected, there was classes. So, at lunch time, I reported to the people in charge what happened and gave my friend a call. My friend was busy somewhere and I talked to his mother. My friend gave me his number and I was acquianted with his mother. I told her to give him a message for me. It goes like this, "Oi Joel, what the heck are you doing! There's classes today! Why aren't you at school!?". Later on, he did arrive looking very glum. I heard that the senior students received a lecture afterwards.

Lastly, my friend caught the chickenpox and only I caught it before. So, during the duration of his sickness, I often visited him to cheer him up, pass notes so he won't lag behind and other stuff. I kept him company. I was annoyed at how the others thought I was being romantic with him though... Come on... This is the noble friendship between men.

A relation between friends is a beautiful thing. As men, we helped each other, competed with one another and had the fun of our lives. We stood tall together side by side and gazed at the place we longed to be. A relation of true equals. And although I reported the stuff I did for him, he helped me out a plenty as well. If he wasn't so important a friend to me, why else would I go to such lenghts to help him?
