Chapter 63: Shopping in the Main Street

Chapter 63: Shopping in the Main Street

Serra was humming as he walked towards the main street.

What good tea! The mundane worlds truly are more interesting than the Higher Realms. I'm shocked to find such a high quality tea in this place.

He was in a very good mood.

As he headed into the main street, he spotted a large number of people going in and out.

He also heard some loud voices.

"Bastard! This Bloodstone Ore belongs to me!"

"Scram! Wealth speaks the loudest here! Not the fist! Unless you want to speak to the Winterclaw Guard!?"

"Do you think that this Iron-Bear Heart is worth enough to offend me!?"

There were some heated arguments going on here and there.

However, the law is strictly enforced.

Although they may be heated, they won't fight.

You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story.

Because of their arguments, the various shops hosted auctions for those precious items.

"It's a good day to be a merchant..."

Serra muttered as he saw that sight.

It'll be annoying if I'm caught with this rabble... Best to use my ability to get to those shops...

Serra disappeared from view and those cultivators failed to detect him.

He swiftly dashed towards the various shops and became visible at areas outside their view so he could just go into the various shops and buy the stuff he needs.

"I'll take this..."

"And this..."

"Hm... This looks good."

With his expertise, he immediately found the good ingredients that would prove useful to him and ignored the ones he didn't need.

Without a good eye, they would end up buying defective goods and the like cleverly hidden among the good ones.

There were some shady merchants who were interested in ripping off customers.

Of course, the various goods were only slighty undervalued or overvalued.

They preferred to get a profit but didn't make ridiculous prices so they won't be held accountable for it.

Take this Flame Lizard Tail for example, due to the damagers wrought to it, it's price should just be around 200 gold. But they made it's price 230 gold instead.

Even if they're found out, the customers could only blame themselves for their mistake.

Regardless, Serra won't be fooled.

"Hmm... I'm done for the day. Now, shall I return?"

Serra carried his bag filled with various ingredients and stored it in his spacial ring.

"Time to go."

Serra began heading back to the inn where he would begin concocting various potions for the tournament.

He'll check the market for various deals but he'll only do some checking.

He believes that he has sufficient potions for the tournament.
