"Well done."
The young man smiled.
"Your team has passed the trial of strenght. If you're following the advice of my senior, that means you'll take the trial of skill next, right?"
"Yes."
Lilia nodded.
"Good. Here's my advice for the next trial... There's no time limit on when you can complete the trials. However, since you all are entering on the last day, you have little choice but to complete them all at once. So, I have a bit of advice for you."
They listened intently.
"The Trial of Skill tests your skills depending on you're role. So to say, the Vanguard is tested on his ability to defend attacks while the Captain is tested on his ability to lead others and command them in battle. The Support is tested on their ability to support and heal others while the tests for Rearguards vary."
He explained it simply.
"Vary?"
Luisa asked.
"Yes. The Rearguards are expected to support others so that mean's they're mainly jack-of-all trades but sometimes they're expected to specialize. In my opinion, you'd have an easier time if you were an all-rounder."
If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
"I see..."
Lilia understood.
"So, what do we have to do?"
"Nothing much. You simply have to try at your peak condition."
The man smiled.
The girls rolled their eyes at him.
"Well, enough of that. Good luck."
The young man turned around and began talking to a new group.
"So, what do we do?"
Luisa asked Lilia.
"Well, let's take his advice and rest for now."
Lilia recommended.
"Okay. Let's rest at a nearby restaurant for now then take the challenge afterwards. We didn't need to expend as much energy as we did earlier but it never hurts to be sure."
Serra spoke.
This sounded reasonable and the girls agreed.
----------------------------------------
"Hm... While we're resting, how about we gather information?"
Serra recommended.
They were at a nearby restaurant eating snacks.
Despite being male, Serra looked just as beautiful as a girl so it seemed like a gathering of beauties at a glance.
Due to this, there were a number of men drooling at the sight.
"Luisa, would you mind gathering information from combatants that failed?"
Lilia asked Luisa.
"Hm... Sure."
"It's a pity we don't have Mir with us. That person was specialized for information gathering, wasn't she..."
Aies said.
"Haha... yeah."
Luisa said.
"Mir?"
Serra asked puzzled.
"Mir was supposed to be our support but she was injured severely during our journey so it's just us."
Lilia explained.
"Oh, then how is she now?"
"We met up with fellow disciples on our way and they took her back to our sect. Unfortunately, we were pressed for time so we decided to simply recruit someone else on our way here. We didn't expect an unsavory bunch to attack us though."
Upon remembering that group of thugs, Seileen frowned.
"Well, that's that. It was already settled so we should just move on."
Lilia spoke.
Luisa nodded.
"No sense talking about this stuff, so, let's get some more snacks!"
Aies said.
"Well... That's one way to deal with things I guess..."
Serra remarked about the group.
"After we eat, let's gather information for an hour before we take the next trial."
