Chapter 52: About the Founder Part 2

Within the hall.

The proctor continued her story.

"The Founder at that time was severely injured after surviving that horrifying calamity. When he saw his master descend, he thought he was an angel or a god. Perhaps an immortal who descended from the heavens? Regardless, that great senior saved the Founder in his dire time of need. When the Founder woke up, he was in a small cottage far away from where he saw his master."

She paused.

"There are many rumors as to how this senior looked like. Many say he's a stern middle-aged old man."

Serra cringed.

Stern middle-aged old man...?

"However, majority agree that his figure is that of a wise old sage. A figure brimming with wisdom and benevolence."

Serra felt it's more fitting.

A wise sage I see... Well, that can describe me well enough.

"On that notice, there's a small rumor thought that his master was a youth with blue hair and features similar to that of a young maiden."

Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

A girly faced youth...? I don't like that description though it is accurate.

Serra does feel that he looks similar to a girl because he inherited his looks from his mother but still...

It doesn't feel good to be called like that by others.

"There's all this hubhub about his face but no one truly knows. We could confirm it with the Founder but the he prefers not to tell others of his figure. A lot of people did ask him however he turned them down saying that there are reasons why he refuses to disclose his true appearance. The rumors about his true form are all over the place though."

 Serra fell silent at that.

Well... I can only imagine how people would react if they found out the revered master of the man who unified the entire world is someone who looks like a young girl... I'm glad in a sense.

"Back to the story, his revered master began teaching him his arts and techniques. Apparently, he took a liking to the Founder and so, he took him as a disciple."

The proctor then began recounting the hardships the Founder encountered and surpassed that ultimately honed his personality and very being.

Aside from telling the story, she also went on and on about various tales about him and rumors so they backtracked a few times.

Serra didn't mind though.

He was interested in how his disciple was doing.

After the story ended, Serra came to a conclusion.

Hm...I think that I'll just reveal myself to Lilia and her friends as well as my disciple...

"Finally done!"

A voice sounded out from behind him.

He turned to look to find Lilia coming out.

"Hm? You're the only out?"

"Oh. You're the second one. I've just heard from the tester. You're passed as well."

The proctor spoke.

"Oh. Great."

Lilia looked relieved.

"What were you doing?"

"We were just discussing various stories and rumors."

Serra said and recounted what happened in a summarized form.
