Chapter 9: The Capital

Chapter 9: The Capital

The Capital of the Recquir Empire featured many elegantly designed buildings. Magical beasts and the like were used as carriages and many of the people walking by looked proud.

As citizens of the Recquir Empire, they were proud to be able to walk within the streets of the capital.

Majority of the living beings here were cultivators.

Evidently, there's a rule enforcing that ordinary people were not allowed to come here.

Therefore, the Capital became a place where those who had the right to stay were proud and lofty individuals.

And Serra can see that there are plenty of aristocrats with their servants around.

Aristocrats in the Recquir Empire possessed power, wealth and excellent martial arts.

They were proud people.

Serra can easily tell them apart from their aura's, their rich essense as well as the pride and bearing they give off.

"Hmph, too noisy."

Maya muttered to his side.

They were currently above the capital.

The blue sphere had a stealth ability hiding it from within view of the commoners and the usage of profound energy.

The stealth ability of a Sovereign Paragon, how could mere mortals of a lesser plane possibly hope to detect it?

"Sigh...Those arrogant fools... It's precisely because of them that I left the Recquir Empire..."

Sirene muttered to his side as she gazed at the nobility with disdain.

Now that Serra recalled, Sirene had grievances with nobility and still bears a grudge towards them to this day despite the one's she hated already dead.

Women are scary...They really know how to hold a grudge.

Eisel and Meileen were gazing at the capital filled with happiness.

They were happy to return home safe and sound.

"Well then, let's go to the castle first. It's been a while since I've been there. I wonder what changed?"

Serra spoke curiously.

Maya looked bored.

Sirene looked at the nobility down bellow with disdain still.

The blue sphere moved towards the castle garden.

They descended towards the flowers.

"Hmm... Now then, for a quick check."

Serra spoke and spread his divine sense towards the entire city.

With his powers, he can easily detect those who have the same bloodline as his.

He detected within the throne room a tired man bearing regal features.

"Oh, found him."

The man bore similar features to Eisel and Meileen.

A blue flash covered their bodies and they disappeared.
