Haru here, so much um chaos when Nina found out so I ran off for her to cool down. So not my choice of words. Ava did that without my permission but it’ll help later in the long run. I know she meant well for both of us. Cruelty isn’t my point since I don’t torment my opponents. I give them a quick death with my mystic eyes of death perception.
“Well you did forget that you could’ve turned it off at some point right.” (Iris)
Yea I almost forgot I even had a system too since I did everything by myself and the killing also. If it wasn’t for Iris informing me of the points I earned. Right nearly forgot once you get used to using mystic eye of death perception you could also turn it off. But the thing is I’ve had my on for centuries and using it constantly so I forgot about using willpower to turn it off. Yet something annoys me how she didn’t remind me until now.
“Hey as my host you didn’t ask. Plus you’re the idiot who told me to do double filtering to see normal you didn’t even ask or mention it until now. In a way you’re only a genius when it comes to technology.” (Iris)
Don’t mock me iris but then again thanks for reminding me of how I didn’t want to use you until the start of the story beginning. Well I can replace my race cravings by eating animals or beasts here but once we get back I’ll have to rein that in again. Since I don’t want the world to be against me. Right and I never did completely ignore those red vein like lines I saw. Actually I didn’t really mind after getting used to it for hundreds of years. Now I just turned it off like that, I don’t know why but I feel at ease for a bit. Yet before that 5 year stuck in the academy with Ava. We were never at peace, we were constantly being hunted down.
Honing your skills in between was the fun part. As for developing assassination skills against mages, and assassins sent after us. Well we had no choice, it was Ava’s idea to help a town. The rest that happened was more the other side’s retaliation towards us. I’m outside the cave and sitting down waiting for a while.
“So master. Why didn’t you just tell her you had the hotel.” (Chi)
“It was decided by me and Ava prior. But Ava thought it was easier to break the news earlier on to get Nina’s trust.” (Haru)
Well Chi probably thought I left my spatial ring back home since I didn’t use it. Ai knew but didn’t say anything about it.
“My dear host just admit it you forgot you could’ve turned off your sight by now or a few hundred years back.” (Iris)
Which reminds me I don’t just chase the lines I see either. I look at the whole thing also and start from there. It’s been awhile since I’ve been left alone to ponder about it. If someone just goes straight at it it’s so damn predictable so you also have to build in some faints in between too. The body isn’t fast enough then train harder to complete that goal. That’s how I’ve been going at it with the mystic eyes. I’m sitting here on a rock not to far away from the cave. Does this also count as look out. Hime seems fine in my lap as for the other two kitten cubs their inside.
“Really prefer Nina’s original name before they picked her up. It’s not that different except the A in between her name.”
Which is also why I prefer replacing the I in her name Nina. The A stands for Alista which is her middle name as a princess. As for her last name it’s too long for me to remember, don’t want to go there. Limiting myself with the mystic eyes isn’t what I’ll do either. Maybe I’ll just get use to my new found strength first. Which reminds me for the first time I ignored it when I faced that bear. Well I did test out the use of my skill with my new strength. That being said my speed was a bit too fast, by the time I remembered all of it. The sensation really felt like a rush, like all the adrenaline went straight through my body.
Seems I nearly forgot even with a sealed strength in my legs, it’s still powerful to throw me off. Though that said Ava is right on one thing me being stubborn might get us more trouble if I don’t get it over and done with fast. Well just my problem is I agree that dying would’ve been better than a soul transfer like the state I was in. Yes I researched the magic that put me into this body. But I don't hate my life either since I’m now used to it. It does count as transmigration but the question is where’s my prior body after the spell does its work.
I mean I feel a tug from my original body once in a while but I can’t feel anything else. It’s like letting me know it’s still there which is strange. I didn’t need my own system to know my soul was still linked but it annoys even me. But the thing that ticked me off is the part where I’m feeling nothing else around. As if the body is floating in the air or something unknown. Well can’t do anything about that but just hope it’s not dangerous.
“You seem distracted again, is it another experiment on thought.” (Ava)
“No. But the annoying thing is the special chemical reaction on the leaves here, it’s interesting.” (Haru)
She didn’t comment on me after that and shook her head in disappointment. It was so not my fault about the diary. Then again screw it Iris didn’t warn me much about this world. I told the idiot at night to scan the events and see where we are in this timeline since she said Krow was someone important to the timeline of past events. Yet the trouble that comes with not telling them of the hotel is gonna piss off at certain girl.
I dislike naïveté the most but I guess telling Nina isn’t that bad. Yawning like this isn’t really like me who hasn’t done much but plan years ahead. Sota and Sora kinda pisses me off though. One is a pretty boy who has girls running after him with a fan club. The other is a dense boy who is clueless about love until much much later. I will not name the number of times the boy leads them on. I’m super pissed at it when I think of all the heartbreak that they did. As they said like father like son.
“Wait why are you glaring at me.” (Nina)
“Short version I forgot I had a hotel in my enchanted magic spatial ring.” (Haru)
Ah, she stomped off so it’s not my fault. Ava is eyeing me like go after her, we’re in a damn forest. I shrug, it's not my problem if she meets a beast of some sort. At least she won’t find a river close by. So no perverts would peek at her. Well a second time she stomped off on me. First time it was Ava who told her without my permission. This time around it was my wording that threw her into anger. Eh it had much more power than the first time.
This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.
“Fine I’ll go to look for her. But you’re on cooking duty and firewood for the baths.” (Ava)
That’s just foul play, she was playing for the last one since she smirked at me. How was I supposed to know she’d do the same thing she did to Sora when he said the words she was not the involved party. I held my head as I felt a splitting headache. My knees felt weak, as I fell over my vision faded.

Jade POV (Remela world 8000 years prior to summoning)
I was surprised I was back here again, 8,000 years is a long time to plan. It means I need to have some trusted spirits as well as the winged humans that the humans call beastmen. But their origins were humans, their ancestors were humans. Demives is gonna regret plotting my mistress’s death. She who realised the real reason the humans of this world called them. I who have yet to be summoned by her should also look for ways to become Lord class spirit or Supreme class.
Yet none of the Supreme class spirits summoned by my mistress are also sleeping. No rather Demives sealed them off before this. The one to reawaken them was mistress. An excellent spirit master and tamer indeed in her time. The skill of beast taming was also lost after she died. I died a year after she died. Demives I’m back for revenge and I will not fail to make sure that my Mistress survives. Yet me dying doesn’t keep me from knowing that the naive boy died due to Demives or that scheming third summoned being.
Seems I need a network in the human kingdom to go against him as well. I don’t want them using my Mistress’s life as if she’s a pawn either. I have zero love for the corrupt humans in the eastern kingdom. Their only decent side is the winged humans who had the same ancestry. Hm, maybe just maybe this could work, I can have the winged humans disguise themselves with illusion magic and recruit the baby princess. She was the only one against using and abusing the other heroes. Yes this can work but I need to leverage their royal family to be weaker than their peak.
The third princess was the one with the male hero who was with my Mistress. So if I recruit the first princess, I could also do so with the second princess. She was the knight princess whom believed in honour and self righteous but died a horrible death after finding out from me of Mistress’s misleading death wasn’t an accident. Demives personally killed her and had her men from her (god’s) church hunt me down.
I never had to go through scheming or planning ahead before that. It was because Demives hunting me down that changed me. A pure spirit of wind, loved by other wind spirits and the former queen. Hunted down by other spirits and my own kind slaughtered. It changed me so much watching them ripped apart by the humans they swore to befriend. The only race who welcomed me was the winged humans. But I had died by Demives when I had arrived in the city. So this time around I want her to realise that no one is her toy to play with. Nor is her god allowed to abuse the former summoned heroes.
“My queen where are we heading.” (Hilda)
I blinked my eyes as I stared at my most devoted knight of the wind spirits. She was the only one among them who took up a weapon to fight. The rest was a peace loving race who thought it useless to have weapons. My eyes were tearing as I stared at her bright blue hair coloured hair as she gave me a nervous smile.
“Hilda we head to the winged humans for an alliance, we wind spirits are too pitiful and weak. We need to strengthen ourselves in case the other spirits and humans turn against us due to Demives. As well as the light god. They think everything in Remela is their playthings. We have to think of the future and go against this cycle. What if one day they have no more need of us wind spirits what then.” (Jade)
Her face turned cold and she turned serious, this little 10 year old loli would later turn into a beautiful lady. But that is 8000 years from now. She was known as the wind empress knight by humans. Hilda had mixed in with adventures at that time when she could make a humanoid appearance without becoming invisible to human eyes. We much like the fairies of Mistress old stories of fairies. Yet we couldn’t defend when it was dire times. The winged humans should be able to teach us much in this time, even if we can’t do much for ourselves.
We who dislike weapons will have to learn. If we don’t I know for a fact that we wouldn’t be able to stand against Demives. That angel is no pure angel she depicts to humans, she’s as corrupt as her god. They play with lives as if we’re nothing more than a toy. I will not leave my kin to those foul beasts. Um, if there is anything I can do what I hate the most, even if it meant survival. Recruiting the two princesses is a great start. Destroying the kingdom within by getting the merchants to isolate them would be funny too.
“My queen we have arrived.” (Hilda)
We did fly here from our home which was just a short flight. I landed on the castle ledge near the throne room. Actually I’m not sure which king this one currently is, my memory of this era was fuzzy. I mean I didn’t pay attention to the winged human at this time. I paid full attention to the beastmens, the demons and humans. These three race was always in conflict after all. Major changes was in this time. Plus this is when the first king of that kingdom that summoned my Mistress started.
A sigh escapes me as lightly knocked on the side doors to throne room. It wasn’t like me but it was manners I had from Mistress, she taught me it was common sense to be polite to others.
“Come in.”
As I walked in with Hilda following behind she stared at the ground in deep thought. I only glanced at her but didn’t say anything more. My eyes went to the kind 50 year old looking old man with brown hair as he sat in this throne.
“What do I owe this honor to have the wind spirit queen to visit me in such manner.”
“I am Jade the wind spirit. Please there’s no need to be so polite. I came here since it has to do with my race’s well-being and our cooperation with each other would help each other more. The human has a king who has just risen to the call of war. I fear much later their descendants will abuse many other races in their god of light and your people.” (Jade)
3rd POV
The winged human king David frowned this was something he hadn’t heard of before. He did hear of news that a king had risen from the humans in response to the beastmens and demons. It wasn’t to the point that he needed to be on guard on. Yet the wind spirit queen showed much sincerity and wanted to join alliance with them after she was just put onto the throne. This changed his outlook of the things he was just a bystander of these wars. They had been neutral to much of its petty squabbles with those three kingdoms.
His eyes narrowed at the green haired 18 year old youth in front of him. She carried herself as if she had many years of experience yet she was just newly appointed. He couldn’t help but sigh when he heard her say that their race was a peace loving race who had no choice but to seek them out.
“Very well, we the merchant’s city will watch them for 6 years and see if they are as you said. Greedy for power and wanting more than is needed than required. Since you want an alliance with us we will gladly welcome the wind spirits as well.”
“Thank you, winged king.” (Jade)
“I’m king David Rowell.” (David)
“It’s an honor. If much later when you are no longer around and I have a few favours to ask will your descendants help me.” (Jade)
“Very well I will see to it that it doesn’t go against my or my descendants conscience.” (David)
“I will take your word for it. Since you’re a man of your word.” (Jade)
Hearing the Queen of Wind Spirits complimenting him made him feel uncomfortable. She was sincere to him but it did seem as if she was hiding more than just that. Yet her next words left him surprised when she looked at him.
“Then I leave Hilda and her mother Raven to you. Do as you please with these two knights of them, but teach them the way of the sword if you will.” (Jade)
Instead she left like the wind leaving a blue haired loli who was confused behind her where she was standing. The winged king nodded, it made sense no sovereign would need a guard or two when going on a diplomatic treaty or alliance. Yet the soft and kind loli who looked 10 years old threw him off. He sighed at the queen, unsure of how to answer her hopeful side of teaching her race how to defend themselves.
“My queen said that the god of light looks at us as a toy. She really wants us to defend ourselves so that one day when we’re discarded we would be able to defend ourselves.” (Hilda)
His brows arch as he gave a hopeless sigh, so the spirit queen wasn’t completely as hopeless as he thought. Their kingdom whom no longer worshiped the god of light can be said to be enlightened of his twisted personality. Yet from the little one’s wording of not knowingly being informed by the queen that the humans had now sided with the god of light. This made David’s eyes turn cold, they and their ancestor humans had promised that they wouldn’t turn back to that mad god’s belief.
Seems like there’s more than meets the eyes to this new kingdom. He’d be happy to cooperate with the wind spirits if it meant righting their fellow humans who went back on the wrong path. Yet being newly appointed the wind spirit queen decided to side with them. He wanted to ask her if she’s knew what she was doing. Yet he knew that she was also after their connection for trade as it also had power of information. She trusted him so she left her clueless child guard to him first.
