Haru here, I know the phrase we often say to not play with our food. But I can’t help it if it’s the only person I can practice my skills on while my hunger is striking me. Damn it all why is this happening now my vision is starting to fade.

That’s a bad sign for even me, which made me wince. My eyesight is getting blurry and the thing was that my hunger was winning. This isn’t a good sign at all what if I harmed Chi and Ai from this. I’m pretty sure Iris shut herself down due to not wanting to be food though she’s the system A.I. I wouldn’t want her gone either or else we’d be stranded and I probably have zero clue how to navigate the things around that she has in her system even if I’m a technical genius now. I’ll probably screw that up since she did answer me that some sections are locked due to authority. My eyesight is turning black and I’m slowly getting sleepy.

3rd person POV

“Finally the fool went to sleep.” (???)

“Who are you talking to.” (Gou Mei)

“Not bad ancient Chinese setting was it. This is also a new world. Ah food before my eyes how pleasing. Oh right introductions first then, I’m Trea. In a way you can say I’m a second persona of Haru created from her holding back her bloodline instincts.” (Trea)

Her hand stretched out as she smiled at Gou Mei but instead this frighten Gou Mei.

“She’s right we have to train our bloodline. On that note I apologize for eating your students bodies completely. Right your face says it all, yes our bloodline is more ancient then those mythical beasts you know. But my direct bloodline is the queen of all abyssals meaning the top of the food chain. I’m only second to her. Oh and since she’s (Haru) sleeping at the moment, she won’t know anything about this conversation.” (Trea)

“What do you mean by that.” (Gou Mei)

“I don’t wish to explain to food but, it is a fact we eat all races. Well I can’t exactly eat her friends or if she found out she’d do some really troublesome things. Also I don’t want to eat the system and have us stranded now would you please stay still.” (Trea)

Gou Mei gave her a look as if to say which idiot stays out when the enemy says stay. Yet her eyes were on the golden eyes staring back at her. Instead those eyes scared her as she never wanted to know that this monster was gonna play with her with or without her permission. Damn this thing is faster than me or my students.

Without letting Gou Mei say more she reappeared behind her a few steps. Then quickly sent a soft kick to Gou Mei as she didn’t want her food breaking since she ate 2 people prior to her awakening. This left her barely half full but she wasn’t really picky, she could also try looking for animals to eat too. But a human to test her strength was before her of course she’d help her other side get used to strength.

Instead she’s stunned when she heard the rib cages cracking. Gou Mei spat out blood from the kick as she winced. She tried to get up from Trea’s kick but she couldn’t. In fact she was stunned, that kick barely landed on her yet it broke her ribs. Isn’t this what they call abnormal strength. This thing before her is a beast disguised in human form. How can such a figure hold so much strength in her legs otherwise.

“Right my kind evolve our leg muscles then move towards our body. But then again we do live in a world where weak gets preyed on even in our own kind.”

Gou Mei seemed frighten as she tried to stand up but her broken ribs that had been hit from in between left her only with pain. Instead she was shocked at the pain due to her never experiencing this before. All due to the fact that her former master spoiled her because she was his favorite. So she never experienced hardship at all.

“Wow hurt, frighten like a small animal all due to pain. Oh look this the cocky teacher of those insignificant disciples who wanted to destroy my automation.”

“You could’ve spared us lowly beings then and just walked away.” (Gou Mei)

“Um, let me think about it. Well that’s a no. Because I learned the fact a day ago how your kind of Ki cultivators work. All gang up on another race due to fear. So why would I allow you to walk all over me by walking away and have you idiots come attack me.”

“Haru stop what you’re doing right this instant.” (Ava)

“Tch, Chi probably explained everything to her when she heard my stomach grow.”

Gou Mei was stunned by the 10 year old looking girl with silver hair and pale skin. As if she was made from porcelain itself and put on display beautifully in the moonlight. Only it was morning now so she was confused at the thought.

“Little girl get away she’s a monster.” (Gou Mei)

“Ugh, I don’t need another stranger worrying about me. There’s that smell of faint blood Haru you ate them didn’t you.” (Ava)

“Didn’t think you’d come in person when she said don’t come.” (Trea)

“And miss you going all out as well as having my own share of blood. No thanks, missing out on the fun. Also don’t think I can’t figure out that the Haru I know is asleep, your eyes is a dead give away. You look menacing at me. She doesn’t do that plus she also said it herself. I’m not gonna be her food due to being bound to her.” (Ava)

“Damn smart mouth found a flaw.” (Trea)

“By the way what do I call you yellow eye and menacing or do you have a name.” (Ava)

“It’s Trea, don’t pull the same one of calling me girl as if you’d call Sora boy due to his looks and low level skills.”

“So you do know how I am.” (Ava)

“Wait you two are acquaintances.” (Gou Mei)

“Why does she sound shocked at that fact.” (Ava)

“She probably thought she ran into another monster in her standards if your a friend. Right as for name, I like to go by Trea.” (Trea)

“Monster eh? Not really a new term, I am a vampire after all.” (Ava)

“By the way you don’t mind that we’re on the forest pathway Ava.” (Trea)

“Oh not really. Though the faint blood makes it little annoying. But hey I did hear you a few minutes before. Something about testing strength on a human figure.” (Ava)

“So that being said will you interrupt again or would you like to explain why you’re here.” (Trea)

“Easy then, I left it to Ai to protect them.” (Ava)

“Yea that so explains it. It’s what Haru would’ve done if you left to get blood.” (Trea)
