Haru here, damn it all. The fish I kicked out of the water is bigger than I thought. It looks like a salmon but is dark green and as big as a swordfish. I’m now speechless at this. I’m just glad Ava does no chant for her magic. So there isn’t a delay when she uses magic. But this fish throws off my even me. What is with the oversized salmon. I mean sure the coloring is also off but maybe it’s edible. Rather I avoid seafood before. I’m just glad that I don’t get reminded of those events.
For a summoned hero to be almost eaten by a kraken is an embarrassment in itself. I have not touch fish or any water inhabitants since. Plus it left a bad taste being saved by Mat who they were transporting to the church of light imperial capital. Haven’t really touched a single damn water inhabitants since. Bad memories crops up when I see fish. I just toss it into my storage ring, but I slowly fill the 10 gallon water bottles. Rather I should return soon to them since it’s around noon.
I will not even bother the moose that just left peacefully. Although we are teaching Nina self defense in case she runs into idiots who challenge her. But should I also teach her Ki after we learn aura. I mean it prolonged Tin Kou to be a 20,000 year old monster and look around 20 only. Well she got a long life in front of her.
But it’s for her to decide afterwards to use Ki or magic. Though it does prolong her life more longer if she choose Ki. A jaguar that looked blue came charging me when I was done filling the water bottles. Damn it what the fuck is wrong with the light blue little kitten charging me. Rather it’s like a kitten to me but if those on earth saw it. It’d give them a heart attack if they saw it’s size. It’s about the size of a normal sized minivan. Oh it barely makes me itchy when it bite me. Wow I didn’t know this race would help me solve the problem of getting Armor later on. Wait this one smells like a female and is that milk I smell. We do have a few baby kittens back at the cave too.
It was Hime, Yuki and Ten. Chi wants to keep Hime and we need someone to act motherly to the tiger kittens. This one might be a bit big but I’ll serve as a perfect ride. I get a free mount and I can also get free food if she carries it here. Ten is the playful cat, yuki is the cold one and hime is the cocky one that makes Ava all tingly (warm) since their personalities seem similar. She was pretty cold to me to when we first met. Ava treated me like a stranger who saved her life.

I wonder if she’s gonna be pissed if I bring a jaguar back. Then again we can get this thing to carry knocked out prey for us to eat (I can eat them and inherit memories) or drink blood off. Though that only gets me a vague memory inheritance of 1% only. What kinda of cheat monster denies free lunch, with skill inheritances, bloodlines, memories and abilities after eating them. They must be stupid to ignore it all at once. Who wouldn’t want such an overpowered ability. I for one don’t but the downside might be if you ate too many wouldn’t it end up as information load and migraine for your head.
That’s probably the only bad side effect. I slowly made the jaguar stroll around for some prey as I sat on her. If Ava questions me she can’t exactly yell at me either. Since she also knows that they the kittens need someone to act motherly and we ain’t the ones to do it. Actually my head hurts when I try to pry the information of what the other me said to Ava. This really makes me feel at a lost.
Elsewhere in the palace…. (3rd POV)
“Who dares attack my daughter and my retainers. I haven’t seen my baby girl since she was a baby due to my enemies. Yet you report to me that you lost contact to them in the Gian forest of beasts. Which one of you was it that didn’t go with them.” (Empress)
“Milady it was our fault for thinking they’ll come through the other end peacefully. We have lost contact since 2 days ago.” (Secret guard)
“Yet you fools have the right to come back to my palace without my own daughter.” (Empress)
The beautiful lady with her bright blue hair kicked at the man kneeling before her. Usually she’d respect them but this was her own child who she had to pretend to abandon years ago. She was finally gonna see her again yet they said they lost her in the most dangerous forest known in the three worlds. They coexisted with the demons, fairies and the mortal world. Yet she had become empress in the mortal world. It angered her to no end how her enemies drove her to abandon her own daughter. Now that she heard they were finally coming back she was so happy yet the news that she got angered her more.
“Search the damn forest for every day you can’t find her don’t think of even returning. Because if you do I’ll kill you on sight. Take your other guards as well and leave.” (Empress)

She watched coldly as he left her there in the cold harsh palace. A life without her own child had harden her heart to even her own husband. He who didn’t care when they were invaded on all sides by their enemies and former friends. How can she even open her heart back to him after having to toss her own child aside for her (daughter’s) own safety. Being an Empress only made her feel more cold and heartless. This was the reason she called back her daughter after she killed off most of her enemies. Instead she sat there on her throne and gave a snort remembering how her husband told her to take care of things outside as the palace doors were being rammed by their enemies.
