Haru, today is day before term exams comes. Not that I’d even do so here, too lazy to try. My company can earn more than I need to spend. I mean Monday is the exam and kid teacher has to make it so their not the worst class. I do my tests also but I usually leave my name blank. Oh and of course I doodle on my paper to get on whoever grades it’s nerves. Since this time is the old headmaster grading it I’ll make it more childish.

Oh and the boy sealed his magic for 3 days until midterm day ends. Kotone and the girls panic in the school bath, nothing much will happen aside from them studying until exams. No girls to breakup from Sora either. Three days of doing study is so boring for me. Might as well work on my side project. I also have to visit Ava again. Since I want to know what she means by all that by I sleep talk. Well class was interesting since the girls decided to do a strip study session. I’m also still in class but I do remember the events that will happen.

Nina and the other girls during the test after class had been mostly stripped to the bare minimum. With just her panties and her hand covering her her barely existent breasts. Meaning the girl is barely an A cup. My eyes went to Ava who was sitting across me during the class. She was sleeping as the class was being loud but upon my look she smiled at me. When I asked Iris the other day what they ate in the abyss, her answer was their carnivores and soul eaters they eat what they could find.

I will not ask anything else since the answer to that would’ve been easy for me to guess. Wow class ended and Sora is probably gonna be lectured and he’d probably seal his magic soon. Better head over to Ava’s first before I forget. I have a long list to do with these three days.

“Not really much you did sleep talk all about the events that should happen or where gonna happen. Then the boy’s father appeared so I put 2 and 2 together and understood that your dreams were of future events.” (Ava)

Eh so she didn’t tell me yet I blabbed about future events in a few years of sleeping. I can be an airhead at times from my previous personality at times I least expect it. At least it wasn’t honed like the personality I have now but it still annoys me. I’m sure I was average for my IQ until I became Haru. Considering I’m still working on Ai’s auxiliary cannon. I still need a source for that laser cannon. I’ll deal with that later but the way Ava is shaking her head at me. Tells me I probably blabbed about everything in the first few years we were together. Wait does that mean she was watching me the whole first day when I planned that event.

“And knowing you even if you’re a genius you're probably do something stupid again.” (Ava)

“Eh I don’t do stupid things when working.” (Haru)

“Really you, don’t then what about an example then. You created a decapitator which you used to cut people up back then. When creating it you worked nonstop without drinking blood and almost collapsed.” (Ava)

“Or that one time where you made a gun that shoots out ice using mana as the source. But instead you end up with it freezing yourself and your enemies. Had to take days to get you out.” (Ava)

That was due to the output being too strong, I already fixed that gun though. Also the way Ava eyeing me is that she’s probably worried I do some more damage to myself. Sure I’m also Haru but I’m also Kin. Who fused with her and then integrated her into myself. But she was only 5 or 6 I think. It’s been too long since then. I mean I’m 832 years old now that’s like so long ago.

“It was the only mistake back then.” (Haru)

“Hah? Didn’t you also destroy your arm due to an bomb explosive.” (Ava)

Ok a few unexpected things over the years that happened back then. How was I supposed to know they had a bomb on them at that time. I got into my stance as I eyed Ava as if to say since you want me to throw away my 3 days of planning so far then go ahead and try.

“Really Haru you come and ask me the question then get defensive when I hit the right nerves. Fine a spar it is.” (Ava)

She sent a kick towards me but Chi who had brought the tea towards us was confused at why we were fighting right now. It’s sunset now so I don’t really mind all that. Ava elbowed me in the stomach as I tried to sidestep, she’s not even rusty. Knowing her she’s probably training in her resort with a lot of time to spare. I rubbed my stomach but I quickly took out my sword. My choice of weapon is the katana and its sheath sometimes. But it’s my only chance to stand against her ice without being half frozen.

So I chopped the ice by doing quick draw. I call it Nine Headed Dragon slash because I cut from 9 directions. Ava is smiling as if she’s enjoying herself. She seemed to have combined her magic with her martial arts. Slicing them as they come at me is much easier to do with my katana than by hand. My eyes widen when she did something I didn’t expect her to do. She did what I did with the magic created an ice clone instead of fire one, and sent it at me without care. I’m shocked because that was not in the manga or anime. How did she hone it to be able to move exactly as she did without me knowing makes me wonder. Just how many centuries did she hone this skill of hers.

She sent icicles at me but backflipped instead of stepping forward. We might be restricted by the seal at the moment but it doesn’t mean we’re useless. Far from it I was also able to focus on blacksmithing weapons and creating more robots. Of course I did practice my martial arts in the morning as a routine too. I only stopped the day before Sora came. Ava doesn’t need a staff or wand to cast her spells like the boy does. Instead she used body full of magic as catalyst. My sword just finished cutting one of the icicles and I didn’t expect her to pop out after her clone was dispersed by me. I destroyed it after the icicles and I still saw her standing where Chi was earlier. Now I can understand why she’s smirking I was fooled by afterimage.

Instead I kicked the ices at my feet at her. Only to get thrown over her shoulder because I was too slow this time around. Ava had used her magic and her surroundings as well as her experience against me. Even if we did go through 800 years together I myself put myself in this situation. I sighed as she helped me up.

“Up for another round.” (Ava)

“After I eat some sweets.” (Haru)

“Don’t you mean blood.” (Ava)

“That too.” (Haru)

I’m laughing nervously since I don’t know how to say that I changed my race so I’m now able to eat sweets. She’d probably wouldn’t believe me since it was recently too. I’ll probably eat the stored sweets I got from the cafeteria and the one I ordered yesterday through online shopping. But I didn’t really mind as she gave me some blood but I almost spitted out when I got this really weird thing inside my head. Not at all like when I got the system or when Iris talks.

Right I’m still in the process of charting the planet and it’s lifeforms there. I’ll add monsters and beasts to my dinner list so I’d get some abilities. It’s not that I forgot it’s just that I’ll deal with the skills I get later. As for now I’m trying to refrain from eating classmates even if one of them would probably be enjoyable. I still need her to locate the chaos mage, she’s also a nuisance to eat. I think I’ll be more disgusted to try eating Nina. Should I as a former human be disgusted by this thought as I’m drinking from my cup. Yet I know I’ve only got less than 1% judging from what Iris said. Lin isn’t exactly my choice. I’d go for Sora’s father Sota instead of her. Rather it’d end Ava’s trouble too and the mage probably can’t even use his spell on me since even if I did kill him. I’m eating both souls together.
