It's going to be the time to show my face soon. I wanted to skip this part but they bribed me with some mushrooms so I had to go. I could take the mushrooms and leave them hanging, but my stupid Conscience doesn't let me do something like that.
Because I'm naked and will walk on my own, there is nothing to prepare. I simply wait until the sun is at zenith when my scale turns red and white and follow the guards to the castle gate. The gate is a bit small so I end up showing my magnificent self by flying over it and land on the other side of the bridge, causing a small commotion in the crowd.
The ground of Holy Knights have already been waiting here. They are standing in a circle, blocking the crowd from coming near.
"Your Holiness..." The annoying voice of the high priest comes from below me. "Please get on your ride." As I look down, I could see he is pointing at the left. I turn to look at see the darn platform is there, this time without the chain.
"I can walk on my own." I say and turn away, looking at an empty space without the knight, priest and crowd.
"But..."
"I said, I can walk on my own." I loom over the priest, trying to make a scary face. It doesn't seem to be scary as he simply shakes his head with a sigh.
Following the guards in a parade, I start to feel impatient. Even though my Speed is low, my steps are freaking big that I have to wait for a few seconds between each step. They said that the parade would be brief, but that was from their perspective! This is freaking long, I have to slowly walk around the capital all afternoon.
I don't feel uncomfortable walking under the sun light, however hearing the cheers of the crowd as I walk almost makes me faint. I have to stop to reprimand them every now and then.
"Shut up!" "Stop cheering!" "You are making me mad." All of the grumpy words I say could not discourage the fanatics from doing their fanatical stuffs. Festival my cloaca! This is a torture!
Whenever I try to run away, the guards coax me with some mushrooms. Am I addicted to it now? Each time I eat the mushrooms they give, I feel more soothing. But it couldn't help much as the sun makes me hallucinating that the mushrooms are glowing. There is no way they would give glowing mushrooms, right?
----------------------------------------
In the crowd following the parade, a group of two lizards and a human are walking together. The human is carrying a long object covered in cloth. They are, of course, Rector, Neon and Argon; with Rector carrying the Toothpick.
"They are giving him Ecstasy Shroom!" Argon exclaims as he looks at Origo.
"Egg..ta..sssy..."
"What is that?" Rector asks with a frown.
"It's a kind of drug that makes you extremely happy no matter what."
"Are you sure? They gave him a lot of that already but he only has a silly smile."
"Reptiles have natural resistance to it."
"How do you know?"
"Well, it grows in the western-most of the Origin forest where our neighbor, the feline tribe, lives. They trade mushrooms for our fishes all the time."
"Swimmy fisshess for glowy ssshroom~" Neon sings to himself.
"Why does your tribe need something like that? Never mind that, why are they feeding such thing to him? We have to stop them!" Rector says then tries to move through the crowd but Argon grabs his wrist and stops him. Although Rector has much better physical strength, he still stops to listen to Argon.
"It's not dangerous. Are you going to ruin our plan just for something like that? Let's go back."
The group of three goes toward the opposite direction from the parade. Their destination is the stage being constructed in front of the royal castle's southern gate. Not only the soldiers are working, some civilians are also helping, so Rector's group easily mingles in and carries out their plan.
----------------------------------------
"When are they planning to stop?" I mumble with a sigh. They stopped coaxing me with the mushrooms and keep saying that we will reach the destination soon.
The sun has already set and both moons are in the sky. However, the huge moons couldn't compete with all the blinding magical lights they use to decorate the street. The festival becomes more and more bustling as time pass. I heard that the main event are all at night where the night sky blends with my scale's original color. Well, they didn't count the moons, I guess.
Soon, a familiar but also strange street is in front of me. Familiar because I realizes it's the royal castle's southern gate, but strange because there is a huge platform waiting there. Different from the unknown material platform the Holy Knights use, this one is much bigger and is obviously made of wood. They said I would have a performance, but I never thought they would make a stage for it.
"And here come our Origin Dragon! The Creator of the World we are living in!" Someone on the stage finishes his speech by pushing the attention to me. As I come closer, I could make out his status above his head and deduce that he is the Diplomacy Minister. Behind him is the angelic kid wearing an all-white loose robe. The kid notices me and run over to hug my wrist. Since it doesn't contain any worship-intent, I let the kid do what he want. However...
So annoying! The crowd who are standing around the stage all turn their heads toward me. During the parade, the street aren't big enough for too many people at the same time. However, this stage is made where the main southern street opens up and become a huge yard where a lot of people are standing. The guards have to try their best to stop them from swarming toward me.
Other than having to peel of the kid from my wrist, the walk onto the stage doesn't give me any other trouble. I only needed to reprimand the crowd once to shut their fanatic mouths. Well, it isn't that bad that they only chant 'Origin' over and over, but I still feel annoyed about it.

My annoyance is suddenly distracted by the creaking noise of the wooden platform below me. I try to press my front claw down a few time to ensure that it won't collapse under my unknown weight.
Suddenly, a sharp red object pokes out from a slit between the wooden plank. I lean down to take a look but couldn't make it out. Carefully grabbing it with my claws, I pull it up and soon the Toothpick is in my hand. Ah, I almost forgot about it. Why is it here anyway?
As I am pondering, I hear a knock coming from the creaking wooden platform. Something is under there? I can't see its status tag since it's hidden. However, it returns the Toothpick to me so I will temporary deem it as 'Ally' in my next performance.
After a few rounds of introduction, the minister leaves the stage. As per the plan, this is almost the time for me to cast "that" spell.
----------------------------------------
As the Origin Dragon moves to the middle of the stage, the crowd suddenly turns quiet. They all want to hear the voice of the Creator, something that might only happen once in their life. They feel happy to be born at such a right time. They were born ready for this moment.
Believers of the Origin don't directly worship the Origin Dragon. Each of them chose one of the Twelve Primal Gods to worship. However, those beings are something they would never hope to see once in their life. At most, the head of the Gods' Temples would hear their voice.
In front of them now is the Creator or all Primal Gods; the one who plants the seed of this World; the Dragon who constantly nurture the entire World with his mere presence. He is going to chant with Glory and Dignity, and they want to, they have to listen to every single word and engrave his voice to their soul.
Thus, without anyone tells them to, all of them decide to stay quiet.
----------------------------------------
I wait in silent. Behind me, a group of magic casters from the royal castle is chanting a support spell. I could not hear the chant but based on the plan, they will boost my DEX for the complex spell I'm going to cast.
Soon, blue light gathers under my four feet, forming a giant circle encompassing me on the stage. The light slowly raises up and becomes a pillar of light, turning my entire body blue.
[Your mind is Refreshed] [Mind Refreshing (Water)]
Next, brown light of Earth element gathers and overlap the blue light, giving me the next buff. One after another, Green light of Nature, White light of Holy, Gold of Thunder, Red of Fire and finally Cyan of Wind, they come and go, giving me the same boost of different elements along with a pillar of seven colors. About my scales... Never mind my scales.
[You are now a Stoic] [Stoic (Earth)]
[Your mind is now One with the Nature] [Harmonize (Nature)]
[You are now Enlightened] [Enlightenment (Holy)]
[You are now Energetic] [Energize (Thunder)]
[Your ambition is now Burning] [Fiery Mind (Fire)]
[Your Speed is Boosted] [Zephyr (Wind)]
As the last booster goes into effect, my world view opened. I suddenly sense clearly everything happen around me, information of every minute details of any event happens in a fraction of a second is sent into my mind. Normal people would easily be overwhelmed by the torrent of information. However, to me, it's just like open my eyes after a blink, a familiar sense of grasping everything in my aura vision.
Using my tail as a counter balance, I shift my body to sit up right and starts chanting audibly in the colorful light.
"I am Origo, the Dragon of Origin. I planted the World, nurturing all Creations. Energy of all Elements, obey your Creator! For this spell would last Forevermore!" This is obviously not my idea. The chant was given to me. I'd rather not speaking words like this ever again.
The lights inside the lanterns flicker and leave its material container. The lights inside every human leak out and make the crowd glowing. The light appears on the ground and in mid-air. All of them form countless particles, blocking everyone's vision with a veil of chaotic but beautiful parade of colorful lights. Due to the enchanted sense, I could still "see" very well everything that happen around me, Rawn or Mana.
After the chant, the dam inside me opened, letting the Mana from my Infinitive Pool of MP gush out, it's the same feeling as when I create the world. However, it doesn't go wreaking havoc nor condense into Rawn...
With the DEX that was boosted to the sky, every single thought of me is carried inside those Mana. Under my complete control, it swirls around me. The colorless Mana flow looks like a raging tornado from my perspective. With all but a thought, I could send the Mana to disintegrate and reconstruct everything under my dictator.
I.
Hate it.
Hate the feeling of acquiring anything, anywhere and anywhen.
Hate the control over Reality and Imaginary and even Logic itself.
Hate everything that ever happen, never happen and can't even happen in the faintest dream.
...
Why hating so much? Trying to escape from something? Talking to whom?
Ego. I. My Ego.
> Quote:I am an Ego Created by "myself", who doesn't have an Ego and is trying to distract "myself" from one thing that "me" believes the most. The Creation travels from dimension to dimension, indulging in mortal thoughts to help the Creator forget about itself.
Ah, I just committed a taboo against "myself".
