Chapter 36: Conclusion
Here is the conclusion of the battle, I just couldn´t let the cliffhanger standing like this ^^
While Neuron grabbed everything he could throw his throwing skill proficiency leveled up without him knowing, till.
* Throwing Weapon Mastery: Intermediate Lv1
Increase Attack damage +110%
Increases critical hit chance +33%
Increases accuracy +33%
You are able to throw every weapon, except two handed ones
The thrown weapons will deal their normal damage + the bonus from this skill
Attention:

*Nice, but how can this help me in this situation* Neuron thought, while he evaded another stealth attack.
*hey, how come that we are overpowered, by so few enemies, didn`t we annihilate close to 200 Bandits in one single night?, what’s going on?*

You are burning -10Hp per second
*shit, this fucking mage, hey, don`t I have the water from the lake?, Damn not even did we forget the title, also the water, IDIOT!* he thought, while he gulped down some of the water, and this prove to be hard, because he was still trying to evade.
*Now I get it, we let them control the flow of the battle, sorry Kyle, you have to endure without me* He thought, and then Neuron rushed into the wood, as soon as he was inside he activated stealth and equipped his scrap mantle.
“Stop, don`t follow him, he isn`t the one we are looking for!” shouted the leader, as soon as he noticed that some tried to follow him. “Everyone gang up on the remaining one!”
*Yes, they don`t follow me, time to prepare* And so Neuron turned around and began to kill some mages and archers silently, which were still near the forest, to do so he shot a barbed arrow at their backs, and as soon as it hit he activated rubber band to propel them towards a tree, the impact and surprise effect which suddenly being pulled from behind produced left the four mages and archers unable to speak, and when they crushed into the tree they couldn`t anymore, because they were stunned, and soon later their head went off their torso.
Fortunately for him no one noticed the mages and archers gone, because they couldn´t shoot when so many people where ganging up on a single person.
When Neuron finally took care of all mages and half of the archers he looked towards Kyle, only to see his shield Broken, while he swung around his war hammer seemingly without care if he would hit something or not, and it appeared like he was on his last breaths.
So Neuron pulled out the special arrow he made on the carriage and nocked it on the string, while aiming carefully, which was difficult, because so many enemies and trees where in the way. But then Neuron had to shoot it without caring, because he got a message
* Your party member is below 10% Health
If he isn`t treated he will bleed to death
*Nothing goes* Neuron thought while he let the arrow loose, while he did so he saw Kyle inhaling quite a lot of air.
*Please hit, come on hit* And as if the arrow understood it flew right past all the trees, then he was near the moving crowd of people and it still continued to fly, past heads and weapons, till It hit its target dead on.
* Accuracy +1
This was accompanied by a shout of surprise originating from Kyle:”WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!!!!” This startled the enemies long enough for Neuron to shoot two more arrows at Kyle.
*Neuron you bastard do you want me to die?* Kyle thought while two arrows hit him straight in the chest, but then something strange happened, the notice that he could use Last Word vanished, and also his poisoned status reverted to normal. *huh?* he thought, this was a thought of surprise about what happened, but also due to the thread which appeared from one of those arrows which pulled him towards the forest, and past all enemies, and then he crashed into something soft, which after he looked at it revealed itself as Neuron smashed under him on a tree, while spitting blood
* You have taken a fatal blow -50%Hp
*Never, never am I going to play cushion again* Neuron thought, while he took a look at Kyle and gave him the waterskin with the holy water:”Here drink, before they arrive” Neuron said, while he looked at the Bandits who recovered from the initial shock and charged towards them.
After Kyle drank it he felt quite refreshed, his Hp was recovering like crazy, and he felt revitalized:”Is that the water from the lake?”
“Yeah, now get ready to ward them off, and by the way use your shout”
*Damn, not only did we forget the title, also the water!*
“Ok, hrm, I AM GOING TO KILL YOU ALL!” Kyle shouted, while he pointed his Hammer towards them, but the bandits only thought of it being born from desperation, and so they ignored the shouts effect and still charged. But Kyle anticipated that and charged towards them with only the handle of his shield, which somehow survived.
*Glad, that Neuron is okay* he thought, while he accelerated and crashed with full force into the still charging Bandits, knocking them around like ragdolls.
“This is what a real archer is capable off!” Neuron shouted at no one in particular and shot arrow after arrow at the bandits which got flung into the air,

After each hit he activated a rubber band, which did the same as to the mages, only difference, was that the warriors and rogues weren´t stunned because of their endurance. But Neuron just let them hang on the tree smashing into each other and concentrated his fire on Kyle’s enemies, while he left the forest, because his aim wasn`t to kill them, he just wanted to thin out the enemies Kyle would have to face at the moment, so that he would have an easier time dealing with them.
While Kyle fought Neuron alternated between shooting to help out Kyle and to kill the rest of the archers, which began also to shoot because now their field of vision was free again.
After Kyle stopped he dealt hits left and right while laughing, because he was truly happy and he knew that he was supported from Neuron who relentlessly shot arrows towards his enemies. Those arrows where deadly accurate.
*I take back what I thought about it being better to fight alone* Kyle thought with regret, when a arrow passed his face so close that he could feel the wind, just to hit the arms of a rouge which appeared on his left side to perform a slash on his throat.
And now both of them where happily killing all bandits that dared to attack them. This was a lot easier now, because they worked together and also because the confidence of the bandits got crushed, before they could deal with their enemies easily, but now…
And so they became desperate to stop Neuron and Kyle, a warrior even went so far that he, after Kyle Disarmed him grabbed the hammer and clung onto it, making it impossible for Kyle to swing it.
“Let go of my hammer!” Kyle shouted with his roar of vengeance, while he let go of the hammer, brought his right fist back and smashed it into the face of him, while coated.
*Brr, I don´t ever want to be on the receiving end of that punch* Neuron thought, while he saw the bandit letting the hammer go and flying away, then landing and rolling a few meters, till he finally stopped and didn`t move anymore.
+“Kyle, you throw really hard punches”+
+“You think so?”+
+”Come on, haven`t you seen him flying away?”+
+”No, as soon as I punched him I grabbed my hammer and turned around”+
+”Then look what you did to that poor guy!”+
*Oh shit, what is with his face* Kyle thought, after he looked at the still unconscious bandit. His face had a really detailed imprint of his fist, while blood was dripping out of his mouth.
+”So you see, anyway I will show mercy for this poor guy”+ Neuron said, and soon after a arrow hit the bandit, and then he left the place while being pulled by a rubber band and smashing into another tree, only to finally disintegrate.
+”Mercy, huh, this was overkill!”+
+”Hey, I killed him fast, and without pain, he was still unconscious because of you!”+
*Shit, they are terribly strong, weak when separated, but together…* But the leader couldn´t continue his thought, because he suddenly felt a threat coming from behind, when he looked around he saw the archer looking him into the eyes from far away, but something was very clear, and that where his eyes, which were somehow lighted by a fire that seemed to burn within them *He is a Demon*, and because of those eyes the leader turned around and just run away, when his remaining peers noticed that they followed his example.
After seeing them flee Kyle again activated his roar of vengeance and just produced an animal like roar, only to see them run faster. Then Neuron appeared besides him and said:”can you perform Mana coating on my bow?”
“Why”
“I always wanted to shoot at ducks”
“Okay, but I have to hold it to coat it” and after the nod from Neuron he did so.
Then Neuron brought his hand behind to pull out a arrow, while he whispered Bodkin *I see , he still has some problems with the quiver* And then he nocked it on the string
“Ugh, this is hard” Neuron muttered, while he pulled back the string to his cheek

Then he aimed carefully and shot the arrow, this arrow was propelled with great force. It even flattened the grass which it flew over due to the wind pressure, and then it hit, well hit was a rather light word for what happened to the one it made contact with. The force of the arrow was so great; it easily pierced his torso and flew straight ahead, only to hit the next one in line

“Wow, nice shot, so, could you aim the next at the leader, but without killing him?” Kyle asked while he looked at the two who where hit and dropped to the ground, with holes in their chest
“No problem” Neuron said as he nocked another arrow at the string, this time a normal one, and after carefully aiming he shot it, it flew like the other, only difference was, that it flattened the grass some more, due to its broader tip, and then it went right past the running legs of the leader, which made him stumble
“Damn, I missed”
“No, look” Kyle said, while he pointed at him. The leader was trying to stand up again, but when he tried to force his legs to run he just crashed flat on his face.
“Sweet, you wait here, while I get him, by the ways look into the forest, there must be some enemies that are still tied to a tree, you can kill them all, but the mage is reserved for me” Neuron said while his Hawkeyes surfaced
*Oho, shall I kill him to prevent him from suffering? No I don`t want to incur Neurons wrath, but before I am going to collect the loot*
When Neuron reached the leader he saw, that his arrow did some damage, the inner part of his feet was one big wound, at some parts, even the bone was visible. *hmm, only a grazed shot did so much damage, I wonder what the other two look like?* And while thinking he tied the leader with his threat and then he looked around, only to see that those two already disintegrated. ~Sigh~
“Hey Kyle come here, you have to drag this guy inside the forest”
“On it!” Kyle said who was busy collecting the loot

While Kyle came over Neuron picked up the remains of the two bandits he shot before, it was nothing major, just a dagger none of them could use and a ring which gave a little mana, and while he was at it he collected everything else, and now he was back at Kyle’s side who dragged the leader inside the forest.
“And, anything interesting looted?”
“No, nothing, you?”
“Me neither”
Now the leader was bound on the tree besides the mage which shot a fireball at Neuron, and the interrogation began, while Kyle prepared some food.
“Hey Neuron, what do you want to eat?”
“Why, you out of ideas?”
“Yeah, I have to look into some cooking books”
“Okay, well I’d like to eat Pasta”
“Ok, on it” Kyle said, while he prepared everything.
So now to you, why have you attacked us, but Kyle answered in their stead:”It was of course because Michael, you know, he is the nephew of the brother of the king”
“And that gives him power?, those nobles and their incest…”
“Hmm, true, so what you should ask is, how Michael has connections to scum like them, or what he meant by proving themselves worthy….” Kyle said, while he filled a pot with water and put it on the fire.
“Right, so tell me!”
“Never!” shouted the leader, but what he achieved was a cold stare from Neuron, while he went nearer and nearer to him, only to be spat into the face. “Ok, no more mister nice” *Notice to myself, don`t go near bound enemies faces*he said while he wiped the spit off and said loud and clearly:” Eyes of the Judge” first the leader wondered what would happen, but then after seeing the eyes he went completely pale, while Neuron began a sermon
“So, what do we have here, hmm, you are guilty for murder, rape, stealing, torture, hoh, what is that, you killed your mother, what scum would do that, and, ah the good old Blackmail, hey Kyle did you hear that?”
“Yeah, I wonder how much we can torture someone who has murdered his own mother?”
“What, how, why do you know?” he asked, while he shivered.
“Trade secret” Neuron answered with a devilish smile:”So, while you recollect your memories, I will entertain myself with this guy” he said while looking towards the tied mage.
“Neuron, just so you know, mages can`t sustain a lot of torture”
“I know, I know”
“I don`t know anything, I swear!” the mage cried
“Yes, he doesn`t know, so let him go!” pleaded the leader.
“never, he is also guilty” Neuron said with unforgiving eyes:”Let’s see, it is murder”
“Well give him some slack” said Kyle while he stirred the contents of the pot.
“No, look what he did!” Neuron said while he pointed towards his left shoulder, there the armor was burnt black and showed his bare skin:”Now I have to throw it away!”
“It was trash since a long time ago” said Kyle while he began cutting some vegetables
“Yours doesn`t look better!”
”Anyway, just look at him, he is about to piss himself”
And indeed the mage trembled and cried while he tried to say something through his gag.
“Doesn`t matter, I’ll beat the shit out of him too” Neuron said while he clicked his finger joints
Said and done the mage was now a bloody pulp and disintegrating.

“Whew, that felt good” Neuron said while he wiped the sweat from his forehead:”So, do you feel like talking now?” he asked the leader.
“No, I`ll never talk to scum like you!”
“Really?” Neuron asked while he smacked his fist right into his face.

“Neuron, come it`s ready” Kyle said, while he prepared two plates, and the bandit spat blood and some teeth.
While eating Kyle opened his mouth but was interrupted by Neuron:”Gulp down first and then speak, damn it, come on learn some manners!”
“Ok, so now anyway, why did you shoot three arrows at me?, be warned, if your answer isn`t satisfactory I`ll….”
“Nah come on, wasn`t the shot just awesome, through all bandits and right into your head?”
“…………”
“Ok, ok, but seriously, what did the system message say?”
“It just said, Neuron has shot you”
“And don`t you find it strange?” Neuron asked, while he obviously tried to move the conversation into a direction.
“What, that you shot me?” but Neuron just looked like

and then Kyle got an epiphany:”Ah, you mean that somehow my poisoned stat was gone and I couldn`t use Last Word anymore!”
“Yeah, that”
“Ok, Neuron I am sick of your play, come on and just say it without beating about the bush.”
“Ok ok, Neuron said and rose up while taking his bow and an arrow, this time he didn`t have to say its name.
*Ah, he improved, but what the hell is he going to do, don`t tell me….*
“Neuron, stop it right now, or I’ll….” But he was interrupted by the arrow that flew right into his chest.
* Neuron has shot you
“And what was that for!”
“Calm down, and try to click on the message”
*Oh, if it doesn`t turn out good I will beat him, that arrow hurts!*

“Ähm Neuron, what does this plus there mean?”
“Can`t you figure it out by yourself, I made a healing arrow”
“What the hell, how can that be even possible?”
“Well, my arrow creation skill allowed it, so here you have it.”
“Ähm, could you show me one of them, wait, you could have done so from the start, you know, being shot hurts, and it even damages my armor”
“What armor, all I see is scrap metal, and anyway look at the part where it hit”
“Hey, what do you mean, Holy cow, there is no hole!”
“See” Neuron said while he tossed him an arrow, which Kyle caught.
* Healing Arrow
Heals any poison on impact
If the one who is shot isn`t poisoned it gives:
+250Hp
+5% Hp regeneration for 5 minutes
“What you used the water from the lake! How did you do that?”
“I only dipped the tip inside and then I examined it, but it didn`t work, so I carved some lines in it, so that the water could get stuck, and then it worked!”
“Sweet!”
“Yeah, so what do you suggest we do with him?”
“A question first, how many arrows do you have?”
“Show list of arrows to Kyle”
* 347 Normal Arrows
234 Bodkin Arrows
248 Barbed arrows
148 Healing Arrows
“Wow, but why do you have so many, I thought you could only make one each time?”
“Not anymore, at level five I got the message that I can make them in bulk, so I am aiming for three hundred each.”
“Aren`t that too many?”
“Like today taught us, we can`t be too prepared for battle”
“Good, so how about you shoot those healing arrows at him, they don´t do damage, but they still hurt”
“Yeah, good idea” he said while making a dark smile
“You know what, let me shoot, I have to pay him back too”
“Don`t miss any arrow!”
“I will stand right before him, so don`t worry too much okay?”
“Yeah, here take it” Neuron said while he gave his bow to Kyle, with twenty arrows.
“Nice thanks” Kyle said while he moved into the shooting posture he had seen Neuron in before, and then he shot those arrows at the bandit, first he hit the legs, then the hands, some missed, but luckily for him all at least hit the tree.
“So, do you feel like talking now” Neuron asked, while he sat near a tree leaning his back on it, while chewing on a grass stalk.
“Never!”
And like this it went on, till Kyle shot all of his arrows.
~Yaaaawn~, “This is getting boring” Neuron said and then he looked on the clock. “Shit, I have an appointment”
“What for?”
“Dentist, oh I don`t want to go!”
“Have you caries?”
“It is the annual checkup.”
“Then don`t worry so much”
“But what if they find some holes, I hate the drill!”
“Oh poor you, so anyway what are we going to do with him, I don`t want to stay here waiting for you.”
“ I got an idea, Kyle help me!” Said Neuron while a smile that would put the devil to shame appeared on his face, while the other two thought *What now/ Oh shit*
When they were finished the bandit was again bound to the tree, but with his hands spread apart, but not forcefully, they could still be moved around.
“Good, now I`d advise you to get on your toes” Neuron said while he pulled out a shuriken and threw it between the bandits legs, who rose up on tiptoes to evade it, then Neuron threw another one, which graced his trousers under a part where light seldom shines on, then he threw the other shurikens and knives all around the upper body of the bandit, mainly his hands, so that he couldn`t move a muscle without crazing himself on the tips of the shurikens.
“good, that much should do it”
“Neuron, you know, you are indeed the devil, so how long will this appointment take?”
“I don`t know, but you can expect me gone for three hours at least, but don`t worry, I will phone you when I am back home”
“Real time?”
“Of course!”
“So he will hang like this for 12 hours, poor guy, I’d advise you to speak now, or the next twelve hours will be the longest of your live.”
“No never!” he shouted, but he didn`t look as convinced as before anymore.
“Your problem” said Kyle as he followed Neurons action of logging out, not before gagging the bandit of course.
*Shit, I’ll never be Neurons enemy, he just gets worse and worse, but, oh well this guy earned it himself, killing his own mother……., anyway, I gotta use the time, hmmm, I know, I`ll edit the footage from our skiing*

Back in the game Neuron saw, that the bandit was gone and so he is cussing around, spitting fire and thunder when Kyle loged back in.
“Hey Neuron, what happened?”
“He isn’t here anymore, someone has taken him away!”
“You sure he didn`t die?”
“Do you see any loot?” Neuron asked Kyle
“No, I don`t, ~sigh~, back to square one, let’s go back into Saramas, its late already, so what about your weapons?”
“I collected them already”
Out of the forest they see, that their carriage is gone too, “what the heck happened while we where away” asked Neuron then he threw a furious look at Kyle:” This wouldn`t have happened if you were here and keeping guard:”
“hey, I edited the footage from our skiing adventure, this has to be done too, and this was the perfect time too.”
“So you finished?”
“Not yet, but soon”
“Damn, I don`t want to walk.”
“So, let’s just make a race” suggested Kyle
“With a bet?” asked Neuron
“YES, Let’s make it so, that the loser has to dress as a girl, if I win, I don`t have to do it anymore.”
“And what if you lose, what then…..?, so no, I want to see you in a cute dress.”
“Ah come on, but if I win you give me some slack, and let me choose one out of three dresses you give to me, but just so you know, not too skimpy ones.”
“Ok I get it!, so about the signal?”
“Shoot an arrow into the sky, when the first one hits the ground we start.”
“You sure, I am going to win!”
“Dream on…”
And now both of them where running at full speed, then when it was already dark, because they logged out twelve hours prior, when the sun started to set Kyle arrived at the wall and touched it.
“Heh, I win!”
“How, ~Pant~ is that ~pant~ possible, ~Pant~”
“Ok Neuron catch your breath while I give you my theory” and because Neuron nodded he went on:”It is true that you have more Dexterity than me, but that isn`t the only thing that matters while running, the strength to put one foot before the other and with which you propel yourself further and Stamina too.”
“But I thought I have more stamina than you” Neuron who caught his breath asked.
“There you are mistaken; I always carry a huge weight with me, so naturally my stamina is more than yours.”
“Damn it, so what now?”
“I will use the city gate to enter, you should sneak in, so that you don`t exist anymore, then you can do what you want.”
“Sweet, nice idea.”
