Well actually it was only half a year, and now it was finally time to start his adventures playing the new VRMMORPG everyone talked about.

Let’s go a bit to the past

Alex was just a lazy ass, he didn`t want anything from his life, so he went to a little university which only had courses for two times a week.

But beware if you ever got on his bad side, you will notice it soon enough, because he can`t hide any of his emotions, or even thoughts, he doesn`t know it but it becomes clearly visible on his face.

If you ever see a forced smile on him, or even anger, apologize, even if you don`t know what you did, then everything will be fine, he forgives really easily, but if you don`t do it beware!

But this changed, well only the lazy part, as soon as he heard of the new game developed by the Unicorn Corporation, called Royal Road.

He was a big fan of RPG`s but the news he heard that fateful day, changed his life completely.

Alex was at home doing nothing important, just lazing on the sofa watching TV, when he heard the announcement he rose up and sat at the edge of the Sofa full off suspense.

The announcer said: Unicorn Corporation just announced the development of a new game called Royal Road, they also claimed, that it will be the first Virtual reality game set in a medieval fantasy like world, with 99% realism where the player can do and become whatever he desires. They announced also, that it will go on sale in approximately one month.

When Alex heard that this game will be the first Virtual Reality game he just couldn`t concentrate on the news, and a stupid grin formed on his face. It was just like a dream came true.

After a month the game came out, but it was too expensive for him at the moment, so he took a part time job to get the money.

Now half a year later he finally got enough money to buy the game, and a little cushion, to afford the monthly fee for another four months.

Until that time came he gathered an immense amount of information about the game, reading through all forums he could find on that matter. The stories, maps and location of dungeons didn`t matter much to him, because he thought, that he could learn them all while playing.

But the Information about skills, and stats, and their acquisition he devoured like crazy, but he couldn`t find that much information. And he knew, that this is understandable, because if you found a good method to gain experience skill and stat wise you would keep them for yourself.

Now finally those angels clad in blue which installed the capsule in his home left. As soon as they bid their farewells and the front door was closed he ran to his room and literally diving inside the capsule.

It was a bodiless female voice that spoke to him out of nowhere, while he was floating inside some drab space, with no place of orientation

“Neuron” he actually thought really long about this topic, because in RR he would be called exclusively by that name, so calling himself like he did in other RPG`s wasn`t an option.

He had something of a dark humor always calling himself by creepy names like MoshuMan, or SickCunt and other stuff like that, and sincerely, no one wants to be called like that aloud for everyone to be heard.

“Human” came the reply, but also this was a hard choice for him because it affected his game play much, so at the end Alex decided to stick with what he knew best.

Before him a boy was floating, with a height of 1, 80m, shoulder length black hair, and otherwise plain features.

“How I am right now”, because he thought, that he would feel some drawbacks, if his Avatar and Real life Body where too impaired

“Wait; is it possible to change my eyes to those of a Hawk?”

He thought that he would get the vision skill while playing, but a little advantage wouldn`t be so bad either

Please wait, I have to contact an administrator about that issue

*Great, just what I`m supposed to do, other than wait*

Maybe you already deducted it, but Alex, or Neuron for now was a rather cynical person.

I`m sorry but it was prohibited, of giving you the special feature of those eyes, but you may alter them to look like actual Hawk eyes.

Suddenly the voice was back, and making twitch

*What`s the point then?*

But nonetheless he replied with a yes, because he thought that hawk eyes just looked awesome

What color would you like the Iris to have?

“I didn`t think about that”

While thinking and trying out different eye colors Neuron completely forgot, that he wanted to leave this place as soon as possible

After some careful thinking he made a decision

“Make the eyes a mix of Orange and yellow, with more yellow, more, a little more, wait, a little less; perfect”

But because he was already teleported away he couldn’t hear the rest: ”I hope you like the little present I gave you” said the voice with a prankish sound, because it liked going against the Administrators decisions.

*too bad he couldn`t hear me finish* Thought the female voice while giggling a little.
