Chapter 15: Attack
Now, Neuron was sprinting towards the gate of the town, why? Well he had some energy to burn, one because he stayed inside this small reading room for over two hours without the possibility to stretch his feet, because there was literally no place, and second because he had gained such a quest, and had now to vent off the excitement.
So now he stood on the wall, and shooting at the little rabbits, even managing to hit some.
*Nice, the training paid off, now, let`s try, if I can raise my luck*
After thinking this he shot his arrows inside the forest again, now with the new skill shower, which split his arrows into two, increasing the possibility of hitting something, but even Neuron was surprised about the barrage of messages that he received.

*What, I just shot three arrows, how did more than half of the split ones manage to hit something!*
But while pondering about why he didn´t get any increase in luck, despite hitting so much Kyle whispered him sounding rather urgent
“Neuron, we got a problem”
“Tell me!”
“My Brother got betrayed; one of his party members sold the information about this town to a guild called The Ravens”
“How did he find out?”
“What, that’s all you think about!”
“Yeah”
“You are such an…., o well” resigned Kyle “ because he was told it, before he was killed”
“Ähm, Kyle”
“Yeah??”
*Why does Neuron sound shocked?*
“Are the people from that guild wearing a black raven as their mark?”
“Wait, I have to ask my brother.”

“Why did you ask that anyway”
“Well, many people wearing that sign just exited the forest”
*Ah, that explains all those messages, I hope they won`t be angry*
“WHAT THE FUCK”
“Well anyways, I think, i`ll let them in”
“NO YOU DON`T!”
“Come on, think about it, this city is heavily under guarded, and we are powerless, and even stuck inside this city, so we can`t escape!”
“But, nonetheless never let them in!”
“Are right in your head?, you don`t see what I’m seeing, they easily more than 200 and they are already building a battering ram!, the alarm didn´t even sound as of now, I bet they all evacuated their posts”
“Never let them in!”
Because Kyle wouldn´t listen to his reasoning, Neuron turned off the whispers, and he even had to block him for now, because he kept pestering him
*Damn, if you just could see what I see, then you wouldn`t be so hidebound*
What Neuron was seeing shocked him, for him it looked like they were well organized and structured, but in reality they were an unorganized bunch, because the guild leador hired many mercenaries, and the command structure was nonexistent, because the guild only numbered 100 people, and those all thought highly of themselves, and thus not listening to anything the mercenaries said. They even let them do all the work of constructing the battering ram, at which the mercenaries in return took their time, and made it less durable than they were able to.
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
Nonetheless, they would be able to invade the city, which alarm wasn´t sounding even now!
So Neuron had no other option than letting them in to avoid casualties (Well, revenge for hitting them with arrows). So he took out the calligraphy set and wrote on a paper, then he fastened it on an arrow and shot it towards what he assumed to be the commander.

* Neuron has hit you! -80hp
*What* thought the guild leader, while turning around to look who hit him, but couldn´t see anything other his men and farther ahead the town wall.
“Hey do you know who hit me right now?” He asked the nearest person
“Yeah, you have an arrow pointing out from behind your back, looks kinda funny!”
Grunting he reached for the arrow and pulled it out, noticing, that a letter was fastened to it
*Wow, a letter arrow, never thought I’d see something like that, wait, who the fuck hit me!*
While thinking that he opened the letter
* If you want me to open the gates for you, shoot a volley of fireballs on the field before the wall
PS: I`m sorry if I hit somebody

*Hmmm, this could be a prank, but it won´t hurt to try, what do we have to lose?*
After thinking that he raised his voice:” Mages shoot some fireballs on the field before you!”
The mages of course questioned the order, but those from the guild soon followed his command and shot 15 fireballs.

*Oops, I hit their leader straight in the back.*
“WOW” he shouted after seeing all of the fireballs shot high in the air and then crashing on the ground, exploding, and leaving small smoldering craters behind.
Then he went to work. When he went inside the gate room, a small evacuated circular room with a winch in the middle, that greeted him like a lost friend.
~grunt~ *This is harder than I thought* while thinking that he pushed the winch with all he was worth. Then it slowly began to move.

*wow he really did it!*
“Good now guys, charge!”
And with this Gaber was invaded by The Raven guild without any casualties, later they were praised by others for this feet, but the fact, that someone opened the gate for them was kept secret.

*man, I don´t want to talk with kyle right now, but I must*
After returning to the smithy he met a calmer Kyle than he anticipated
“Ähm, Kyle,…”
“Stop, I know, why you did it, it is just, something my brother discovered, so, I was a little attached to that..”
“Hmmm, well, ähm, do you have thought about the quest”
“No, I wanted to talk with you about that”
“good, I have something to tell you”
And after that he explained everything to Kyle once again
“So do you want to participate?”
“Why not, seems like fun, and I like the idea of discovering something”
* Kyle has joined your quest
“Great!, Now I’m going back to training”
“Yeah, I’m going to prepare too”
And with that done, they finished their one month time inside the city.
