Chapter 11: The merits of Training
It was still night, when Neuron and Kyle met each other inside the archery.
“Hey there!”
“ah, so everything went well?”
“Did you doubt that my Masterplan would fail?”
“Every second”
“Oi, come on,”
“Do you know how much could have gone wrong! I NEARLY PISSED MYSELF WHEN HE SAID, THEY`D LAY AN AMBUSH.”!
“Don`t brood over the past”
“Well everything went well, so I guess I can forgive you. Well it actually was awesome, how you jumped out of that window, but how did you manage to land on the roof?”
“I attached some Manathreads beforehand, and while jumping out, I grabbed them, so that I would swing up to the roof”

After he explained it to Kylea system message appeared before Neuron

“Right, so I`m going back to the training hall and then logging out, ~YAAWN~ I need some sleep, but there is something I want to know, how did you gain those eyes?”
“Ah, my Hawkeyes, well I asked this voice at the start, she had to ask the admins, they didn`t allow it, but I when I checked, I had them, strange. Why so curious, if you wanted them yourself, sorry”
“No, I just thought of them being scary”
“How so?”
“Activate them and look inside a mirror, then you will notice”
“Well there’s no mirror around”

Neuron also decided, that it was time for a nap, but he was soon woken up by Brairan who asked
“So are you finished with your business?”
Neuron rose up grunting, scratched his head and answering: “Yep, all done”
After hearing this Brairan went into Instructor mode and began to yell orders, and also hitting Neuron, because he didn`t react promptly.
Like this a week passed, and Neuron was driven to his limits.
But like Kyle suggested Neuron looked inside the first mirror he came across, while activating his Hawkeyes, but due to them magnifying everything, he couldn`t see how he looked like with them activated, so he just shrugged it off.

“See it as repayment for all favors you did for me” and with that being said, Neuron left the archery, and headed towards the wall surrounding this city. He didn´t care about such a small sum, because he now had 1.000gold in his pockets, coming from the treasure chest he “found” in the Liagen House.
*First I want to know how far this bow can shoot an arrow*
He thought, while standing on top of the wall, looking at a grassy field, filled with little rabbits, and further he could see the forest. At this sight, he activated his hawk eyes, he somehow felt weird, activating them in the city, or in closed off rooms.
He thought that this was from being in a confined space, where those eyes were practically meaningless, so for the first time Neuron activated them and looked around. He could nearly see everything, he even could make out some silhouette of wolf`s sneaking trough the edge of the forest. Looking at the little rabbits with bloodlust.
After having appreciated the view long enough, he tried out his bow.
He held it in a 45° angle and shot the arrow high in the air, as it flew Neuron watched its flight with Hawk Eyes, because he had to learn how to use them, it was hard not to loose focus, because everything he sees is getting amplified, and thus when he loses the target once, it takes him a long time to find it again, just like looking with binoculars.
And he soon lost sight of the arrow, because it flew inside the forest
And soon after he was flooded with system messages.

Encouraged by those messages he shot arrow after arrow but it didn`t happen again, and so Neuron shot half of Arrows pointlessly, well not completely, because of

So he tried to shoot his arrows at the rabbits down in the field, but he couldn`t hit any of them. One of the reasons was, that he was on higher ground, and so he had to aim differently, but after 10 arrows shot this obstacle was cleared, so now he aimed lower but still couldn´t hit because the rabbits ….
*oh come on, how is it possible, that rabbits are rabbits so smart, I just shot ten arrows, and now they are evading the part of the wall where I stand*
With that he had even more problems to face, one that they were so little and thus hard to hit with arrows, second the distance, because they evaded the place from where he shot in 60m diameter.
*I never had difficulties hitting the target at 70m but why do I have problems hitting those damn little critters*
And thus he tried to aim using his hawk eye, but that didn`t work either, because to aim he needed to see the whole arrow and the target at which it was pointed, and thus rendering it useless.

“Don`t ask” he answered in a grumbling voice
“Ho ho, someone is angry, now come and tell it to your uncle”
“Uncle?” he said while looking at Brairan questioningly
“Just a figure of speech”
“Well don`t speak like that to little kids, you might get arrested”
“That`s harsh, so come on tell me, where it hurts”
