The ride was awfully quiet and no one seemed to want to talk about anything, I think it was because everyone knew I was mad about what just happened to me, no one would take anything like that lightly. Our main task was to get the kid to a safe place, then we would look for anyone who knew anything about the Red Skulls. I also had to get my broken armor fixed, I felt naked without the armor under my shirt.
There was a bit of riding left since we could see the town in the distance, everyone was relieved to see the town since supplies were running low.
"Boy! Is there a certain place you want to be taken to?"
I asked the boy, I could see that he hasn't thought about it.
"Not really, I will just wander around with you guys until you leave this town."
The boy answered, I gave him a thumbs up and focused on the riding. I could hear that Joy talked about us to the boy and about not getting too close with us and Ana was digging her horse bags for more rockets for her cannon.
"Ana! You are not carrying that around the town! We ain't here to rob it or to cause chaos!"
I shouted, then Ana began reloading the cannon.
"Relax! Everyone walks around with their weapons, I'm not leaving this baby alone!"
Ana shouted and hugged the cannon. She did have a point, everyone actually carries their weapons around.
"...Make sure it's on safety or scram off!"
I shouted again. Ana galloped next to me to talk with me.
"But how come can Joy have all of his knives with him?"
Ana asked and pointed at Joy, he was confused about the situation.
"All of his knives are hidden inside his coat, a cannon doesn't fit inside a coat, or does it? And also, he is a sheriff!"
I said and looked at Ana, she stood quiet and looked at Joy and then at me.
"Calm down, Ana. If a sheriff decided to go nuts, they would fire me. They already see me as a nutcase so I'm already living on the edge."
Joy said calmly, I understood that he tried to act calm but in reality he wasn't.
"You're concerned more about your job than about your friend?
Ana asked, Joy took a deep breath and shook his head.
"As I have said, you ain't my friend, you're just a outlaw that just appeared out of nowhere and joined us."
Joy said calmly. Ana was mad.
"An outlaw? I ain't even got no bounty! And I haven't done anything illegal!"
Ana shouted and laughed, Joy seemed to get more mad.

"If only you had a bounty, I would have already taken you to prison!"
Joy shouted, Ana laughed was laughing like a maniac.
"Too bad I ain't got one!"
Ana shouted and laughed, Joy stood quiet and tried not to yell anything back.
"Both of you! Shut the hell up!"
I shouted, then both froze and Ana stopped laughing. Somehow these two had made me more mad than the men who told me about my bounty.
"You two act like children, both of ya! Grow the hell up or get lost!"
I added. Both of them stood dead silent for the rest of the ride, at least the ride was nearly over though.
We had made it to the town and everyone seemed relieved about it, so far the town didn't seem so special compared to Wirwood nor was it as clean as Wirwood. There were abandoned houses, broken down buildings and nearly no one lived there.
"So, is this town abandoned or is it supposed to look like this?"
I said and hopped off my horse to walk, I looked around for water for the horses to drink but I couldn't see anything other than empty throughs with sand in the bottom of them. We then hitched our horses near the empty throughs since they were close to the main entrance to the town.
As I was wandering around the town I saw people look at us like we were the new town attraction, unfortunately we weren't. The others were also looking around trying to figure out why we were being stared at.
"Boy! Got any idea why these people stare at us like were some rich folks?"
I asked the boy who was quietly following me.
"Well, the people are quite frightened by strangers since this town was burned to the ground once."
The boy said and looked around the place.
"Hmm, did someone set it on fire or was it an accident?"
I asked and gazed into the windows of the buildings and then into the distance trying to see anyone who was outside.
"That's something they don't know, the fire started at night and they weren't able to extinguish it."
The boy once again said. I was only left wondering who was the culprit of the fire, I couldn't assume it was the Red Skulls just because it was something that caused destruction.
Eventually we had walked for a while now and nothing had changed, the houses were still in bad conditions and everything seemed abandoned. Joy and Ana were still walking very silently, so silently that I wasn't even sure that they were living things anymore.
"You two alive?"
I shouted towards their direction, both were at least ten meters far away from me. I saw that Joy was startled but he was ready to speak.
"Yeah, Just a little confused about this place and worried of our surroundings, either way I guess I'm alive."
Joy said as he was checking his gun, he then checked his pockets to find spare ammo in case he needed it.
"Alright, how about you, Ana?"
I asked Ana. She seemed to get more mad after I asked her.
"Yeah, just bored, that's all."
Ana said while kicking the ground. Everyone seemed really bored of walking around the town since it was a ghost town so we deided to leave.
"I think it might be the best idea to leave, this town ain't got nothing for us."
I said and turned around to head back to the main enctrance. Everyone seemed relieved about the idea so they agreed. half way through the walk we realized that our horses were missing, they also didn't answer to our calls so they were too far away or they ran off.
"Well... I think we might have a slight problem here."
Joy said and looked around for any traces of the horses. Ana was shouting for her horse but she had no luck finding it.
"Where the hell did they run off to? And how! They were hitched here!"
I yelled and looked around to find nothing of them. We tried to stay calm but we were all getting irritated and mad at each other, we had to come up with a plan.
"Everyone! Calm down! We have to have plan things out!"
I yelled and signaled for everyone to come closer to plan things out.
"We have to plan this out to get out. How about each one of us goes after our own horses, does that sound good?"
I asked everyone, Joy agreed but Ana was a little skeptical of the idea.
"It's the only way this will work, Ana. We are also saving time."
I said as I tried to cheer her up. She eventually agreed and we all went to different directions, Joy headed to west, Ana headed north and me and the boy went to the direction we came back from. The sun was also beggining to set which means that we had to find the horses before the sun sets, or else we would have to sleep in this ghost town. It was going to be a long horse hunt.
