I could hear loud noises even though everything was black for me, I wasn't sure was I dying or dreaming. After a while the noises stopped and it was getting brighter every second, rather too bright. I gained consciousness and realized I was asleep, I opened my eyes and got greeted by the bright sunlight. I tried to get used to the light, then I would look around where I was. After a while I was getting used to the light and then I looked around, I was in a small room with my stuff in the corner, including my nearly useless armor that I had underneath my clothes.
"God damn with them, they must have used some special bullets or special guns, that armor was well made!"
I thought and wiped my eyes, after I was done I realized that i was covered in bandages.
"Huh, so I'm in an hospital."
I said to myself and got up to sit. Right as I got up a doctor came into the room.
"Oh! You're awake!"
The doctor said and walked to me and took out his stethoscope and checked my heartbeat and breathing.
"Am I well?"
I asked the doctor, he turned to me and looked at me.
"Yes but your life was at risk before the surgery."
He said and took out a paper, the paper was a drawing of my body before the surgery.
"This picture shows how many shots they shot at you, as you can see it's not a healthy amount."
The doctor said and pointed at the dark spots on the picture, they were the bullet wounds.
"Oh, that truly is quite a lot. But now I'm well?"
I asked and laid back down.
"Yes but you shouldn't really move that much, it might cause you pain. And also the bullets were not normal, a sheriff took one to examine it."
The doctor said, there was a knock on the door so he got up to open it, it was Joy and Ana who knocked.
"You're alive?! I thought you died!"

Ana said and came into the room, Joy also came into the room but he was worried.
"Arthur! Are you well?!"
Joy asked with a worried voice and ran to sit in the chair next to my bed.
"Yeah yeah, I'm fine, don't worry about me, worry about yourself."
I said and slowly got up, moving was somehow still a little painful.
"Oh yeah, here."
Ana said and threw me a bottle of the strong liquor and a small money clip. I caught the bottle and looked at it.
"Eh, this ain't what I wanted. At least I got my money back."
I said and placed the bottle on the table. I saw that Joy was looking at the broken armor that was in the corner.
"You were wearing that? How did they get through that?"
Joy asked and picked it up, he measured the width of the armor.
"1,5cm thick?! How are you able to carry that around with you?!"
Joy shouted, Ana went to look at the armor.
"Jeez, shut it a little. I carry that around so no shot would kill me, well as you can see that it didn't work this time."
I said and got up, I tried to find my shirt from the room. The doctor lend me my shirt.
"I don't think you should do anything physical or we will meet again, okay?"
The doctor said, I nodded and put on my shirt. I went to grab the broken armor and the rest of my stuff.
"Why bother to take it with you? It's worthless since it's broken."
Ana said and took a hold of the armor.
"I can fix it, I can make stuff ya know?
I said and yanked the armor back. Ana seemed confused
"Where are you gonna fix it? With tape?"
Ana asked with a angrier tone.
"I will figure that out later, we have to move."
I said, I heard the doctor get up from a chair behind me.
"I heard the man who shot you threw this next to you, I don't know what it is but here."
The doctor said and held out a pendant. The pendant had a picture of a boy and a girl, They were Andy and Rebecca, when I saw that picture I got the chills. I walked to the doctor and took the pendant and looked at it.
"T-This isn't a old picture... T-They are alive?"
I said as I stared at the picture. Joy took a look at it as well and so did Ana.
"Those the people you're after?"
Joy asked and pointed at the pendant, I looked at him and nodded. I squeezed the pendant and put it in my pocket.
"Thanks, doc. What do I owe you?"
I asked, the doctor raised one of his hands.
"Oh don't worry about that, the festival personnel got you covered."
He said and shook his head lightly. I smiled and headed for the door.
"Thanks, doc. I won't forget you."
I said and left with Joy and Ana. We got out of the room I was in and headed for the exit. After getting out we stood outside for a while.
"Why are you still with us?"
Joy asked Ana, she looked mad after he asked that.
"Cuz why not? Got a problem with that?"
Ana said angrily to Joy, she looked at me for help.
"I mean he does have a point, why are you still with us?"
I asked her, she didn't look happy.
"I'm bored... And lonely... I thought I could hang around with you guys for a while."
Ana said with a calmer voice. Joy stood quiet.
"...Fine. But no games, got it?"
I said and whistled for my horse to arrive. Ana also whistled and so did Joy, now we just had to wait for them to arrive.
"Yeah, got it. I see no reason to play around."
Ana said and sat down on the edge of the road, eventually we all sat down. None of us were sure where we should head after the horses had arrived, but we will have to figure that out after the horses had arrived.
