The mech was trying to move with the leg it had left, it was funny to look at since the mech wasn't moving at all.

"Hey, get out. You lost the battle."

I said and banged on the side of the mech, I was reloading the gun just in case the man would try anything when he got out of the mech. The hatch opened and the man came crawling out.

"Well, damn... I never thought a stupid man could take down a whole mech!"

The man yelled while holding his hands in the air, I had reloaded the gun so I put it back to it's holster and walked up to the man.

"Who sent you? The Red Skulls?"

I asked the man, he looked at me like I was a maniac or something.

"The Red Skulls? I have no clue who or what you're talking about, mister... I was just coming to see how my bounty hunters were doing, but instead, I found them all dead!"

The man yelled angrily. I stood there silent waiting for him to continue speaking, instead he stood quiet too.

"Fine, we'll take a look inside your mech and we will be on our way."

I said and went to the hatch of the mech. The man looked angry about it, so he pulled out a gun he hid behind his back to try and shoot me, I didn't see it coming. He only was able to point the gun at me before Sheriff Joy had shot the gun off of his hands. Sheriff Joy came running at the man and tackled him.

"Not so fast! As a sheriff, I will have you taken to jail for attempted murder!"

Sheriff Joy yelled, I wasn't quite sure what he had done to the man, I was already inside the mech looking around. The inside of the mech was really cramped, the man who was controlling it probably controlled it with his own limbs, there even was a spot to strap yourself into to control the mech, I didn't see any levers or buttons anywhere so that has to be it. I wasn't quite sure how the man could see outside, but there probably was a gadget for that too.

The mech didn't have anything worth our time other than a newspaper, I assume it was bought this morning, I took it and crawled out of the mech, and then I saw the man on the ground unconscious.

"He resisted the arrest so I knocked him out... He was also quite annoying."

Sheriff Joy said as I stared at the man on the ground. I shrugged and opened the newspaper to see what was going on. There was a opening for an new weapon store in Wirwood, they were also handing out free ammunition for the first hundred customers, not like I could use the ammo but free stuff is free stuff. Nothing else interesting was going on, they were also talking about aliens and stuff. I rolled the newspaper and went to stuff it into my backpack, then put it on.

"Were leaving now, leave the man there and get on your horse already."

I said to Sheriff Joy, he took his backpack and hopped on his horse. I looked around the place just to check if there were anything we left behind, other than the bodies and the mech. After all that chaos we finally got ready to head to Wirwood Town, hopefully the town wasn't as chaotic as our camp.
