“But I thought you had to listen to me… I said not to kill anyone.”
“We can’t go against your orders but that guy can. He wasn’t there when you gave orders plus he is your partner so the effect of your order was low on him.”
“Low?”
“Yeah, he originally wanted to slice him to death but warning flashed over his head so he just beheaded him.”
“What is he?? Slice…what is that even supposed to mean… what example did he even want to make?”
“Haha don’t worry about that. It most probably wasn’t out of loyalty for the queen but he said that if someone dared to touch his 80% power they’ll regret it.”
“What kind of damn cliché is it?”
“Who knows? Now lie down she needs to check your wounds. I’ll call him.”
“Whom?”
“Anik”
“But for what?”
“It just feels like the right thing to do.”
“Huh?...”
Soon she came back with him but how did she persuade him?
Lady’s sudden speaking startled me.
“You must have overused your certain power except for mana transfer. The sword that the healer used must have some kind of poison and I am unable to understand what it was. Your soul feels weird. I am hard time having to choose between demonic or angelic healing potions and herbs. Using the wrong one will make your condition worse. What do you want me to do?” Anik’s eyebrows twitched listening to this. Of course, it was a natural reaction. I don’t know when he arrived but everybody knows I did nothing except mana transfer. And my soul… it must have been affected because of the use of imagination, the same goes for demonic aura. I thought they wouldn’t affect me since it was just a premonition, but thinking about it my shoulder and ribs hurt as well. Does that mean premonition will leave other effects than just that exhausted feeling?
On the other hand, Anik was feeling confused. The healer lady should not be able to feel the demon in her… what went wrong?
“Haha, aunty you must be kidding me. She has a demonic thing in her?? She can’t even think straight leave alone think evil and she got stabbed protecting others but shows no regret. Think again ma’am”
“I tried not to say so for the same reasons but the results are the same that I tried checking her vitals again.”
“You guys go outside.” He said while looking at me. “You too kiddo” That stare dead in the eye kid revealed himself from behind Anik and followed that girl out.
“Hey! What is your name though?” I asked when she was almost at the door.

“Akansha,” she said and went out. As soon as the door closed Anik looked at me and spoke.
“You, what are your skills and attributes?” I know what those are but some things have been off since the beginning, let me just check.
“These are supposed to be two different things?”
“…”
“Sir, I humbly wanna inform you that you should show your skills before asking for mine.”
He said nothing but a screen appeared in front of me.
Battleship, close combat “Hey I have this one as well; let’s practice this together later.” and the screen disappeared. “I wasn’t done yet!” He glared for a second, sighed and the window opened again. Poison what is that supposed to mean? I wanted to ask but I better finish reading it first. Anatomy, speed
“Cool… now my turn?”
He nodded
“… but how do you open that?”
“Just think about it.”
“Oh”
As soon as his words especially ‘think’ entered my ears I had a weird feeling surging out. Think…Think! Think! Think! Think! It felt like someone was whispering this uncontrollably in my ears. Scenes from previous premonition made me feel sick again. The wound in my abdomen started burning. I killed people… Anik died because of me as well. That guy dared stab me. That was all I was able to think. I felt like losing my mind again. No, I can’t let that happen. No no not at all… I felt a sudden burning sensation on my cheek. I touched it with my hand.
Anik had no idea what was going on. There was no scene like this in the comic. Why was she trying to kill him? Wait, in the first few scenarios she had no control over what she did after her demon kicked in. but it can’t kick in without her summoning it. Why did she summon it?
“Get up you idiot” There seemed a hand reaching out to me to get me out of this darkness. I tried to get a grab of this hand. It started going away. As if losing all hope the darkness started growing deeper. The feelings I felt were way different from the ones I felt in premonition. That hand appeared again as I tried to reach for it, it grabbed my collar and started pulling.
With a sudden pull, I felt like I was back again. It was still dark in front of my eyes but it was different from previous darkness. That was suffocating but this was soothing.
“You better explain this to me.” I heard Anik say this, his voice seemed hoarse.
“Your voice…”
“Don’t tell me you don’t know what happened.”
“I… don’t know” I heard a sound of a cloth being pulled with force. It was something covering my face. The darkness surrounding me faded away along with the soothing feeling. It was his jacket that he might have used to calm me down.
I looked at him. His neck looked swollen and his sword was lying on the floor and his left hand was supporting his blooded right arm.
“Wha… what happened… did I do it? …It can’t be possible, right?”
He stayed silent. My mind felt like going blank again. What was even the point of coming to a different world if all I was gonna do was hurt people indiscriminately? I stayed silent for a while. How unlucky it was of him to be paired with me. I don’t know anymore if he is the psychopath or if it was me. Oh shit wait- my condition right now is similar to that character I saw in that drama. What was the name… The name goes to hell but wow I am like him right, so how would I have expected him to react..?
I looked at Anik again. His complexion looked pale.
“Sit down. I’ll explain.” I said gathering myself together. Damn, why didn’t I think about 3rd person’s perspective earlier? That was my savior skill in the real world. I looked at his blood-stained clothes. I don’t think I am the one who will need to wash the sheets later. He sat down without any hesitations.
“But should I call that healer aunt to look at you first?”
“No need I’ll handle it later you just do what you are supposed to do.”
“I think a skill of mine gets out of control again and again.”
“What skill?”
“Imagination.”
Of course, he knew a skill of hers got out of control, but it wasn’t imagination. She didn’t even have that skill. It was the demon’s skill and she had no access to it. For the first few scenarios, the demon just appeared suddenly, saved the lady in distress, and went away again. She had some skills of her own but those were all useless. So most of the time she could only use this demon who for no reason chose her to be his new host.
The answer he was expecting was either 'I don't know', a shake of the head, refusing to say anything or her simple answer that she summoned a demon in her.
