Even though Akansha wanted to help, she could just wait behind the scenes and watch. Ashleen seemed more than alright but Anik was struggling. She felt helpless as she was unable to go and help. She originally thought that the barrier was to protect people but after seeing Ashleen enjoying this all she realized that this was all so they won't create 'trouble' for her.
Akansha could still bear this feeling of bullying she felt for Anik but the way Ashleen aimed for kid orcs felt so terrible, Akansha could still reason all of this but her smirk after getting the older orc kill the young ones was disgusting and terrible. Orcs were indeed killing people, but still whatever happens humans still got humanity, how can someone do this? They were all new to this world, the memories were still there, how did she adapt this quickly and become so ruthless? Hundreds of questions emerged one by one but she could do nothing except stand by and watch.
The round dome made by Akansha stood still and people could either stand and watch or cover their kid's eyes and turn around to find a place to hide. But none of this bothered Ashleen. The demon is in control at the moment and he has seen way more disgusted looks on the faces of those he protected for the sake of his host body and those scenarios, this was nothing. She was still in front of the leader orc, both of them stood there in their positions, looking into each other’s eyes; having a competition on who would give up on their pride and attack first.
Anik was struggling on the other hand. These orcs he was fighting were like bulls, all of them seemed to have lost any reasoning or feeling; ruthlessly just aimed to kill him, he would dodge an attack, and hurt the attacker just to have a new one fighting him. He wasn't given time to kill one. A few of the orcs were already injured by him but none of them seemed to feel pain. They had their limbs hanging on their body after getting broken during the fight but they just kept attacking. He can’t fly, nor can he run away as he was surrounded, he could just fight and most importantly he was injured and can FEEL the pain, unlike these monsters.
He had wounds on his right thigh and left shoulder and blood was still dripping through them. He always knew that anime characters are unreal but it was the moment that opened his eyes. He was struggling even to stay alive, leave alone suddenly have a new power surge and kill all of these in a single go. I am goner, he thought when suddenly weapons appeared in the hands of several orcs. He was already wondering why they didn’t have any, now that they have one he can only curse his luck. Right now he is unable to do anything at all, orcs surrounded him leaving nowhere to go and he had no stamina left to fight anymore.
Ashleen facing away from them knew everything going on down there and was well aware of where the weapons emerged from. Leader orc was smiling at her trying to provoke her.
She took her step and raised her hand, thinking that she was finally ready to attack first, leader smiled and got ready as well. After all, how can a newcomer challenge him? BOOM!!... leader was taken aback by her sudden step…
Anik was trying his best to defend his life against the monsters who didn’t even care about death. He was now caught in a deadlock with the orc using a sword when he heard another orc roaring and running at him, it stopped, lifted its hammer-looking thing, and… BOOM!
The leader was boiling in anger and Ashleen smiled at him provokingly raising her eyebrow, instead of attacking him, she attacked the orcs fighting with Anik; the orc with the hammer, and the orc with the sword were blasted away and scattered into pieces and those bits and tears fell in all the directions. This was what she did to keep her 80% power alive, for provoking the Leader, rest of the kids along with the injured one shared the same fate as their elders with sword and hammer.
The people standing outside the barrier still watching this scene all fell to their knees, how can someone be so ruthless? All the orc kids were still very away from the ones fighting. She had no reason to hurt them, but she did that and no one can change it or stop her.
Ashleen raised her eyebrow when the leader orc, totally provoked still didn’t bother to take a step. Orc wanted to take an eye for an eye. Seeing that Ashleen protected Anik, he aimed for him and wanted to do the same as she did to his orcs.

He looked at Anik and used a lot of his mana to kill Anik in the worst way possible. Since Ashleen used to use a lot of mana at a time, she knew that it was just the right time for her to attack it. These few minutes from consuming mana to replenishing it is the golden period.
She raised her hand and half-conscious Anik was dragged out of the dome in a split second, thinking that he wanted to hurt Anik, all the memories from the premonitions occurred to her, causing the frustration to reach the threshold all of a sudden, and her sclera turned black, her iris that turned red right after her imagination kicked in made her look ever horrible.
Anik on the other side knew that he can’t enter the place now anymore, according to the original comic; it was not supposed to happen the way it is happening at the moment. Orcs were for sure supposed to enter this scenario but she was supposed to kill all of them in a single go without playing games the way she was doing now. She was going to be ruthless as she was the supposed villain after all, but things were changing a lot from the comic. Maybe it was because he choose to be in a team with her. She finished this scenario in 15 minutes in the comic and left this place as everyone in the area was scared of her. And that was the moment that later turned out to be a kickstart for her to be a villain. Later she let her evil side take control over her as she was unable to bear this anymore. As a reader, he had always wanted to change her story but it seems that when he has a chance now, he is helpless. But he definitely will accompany her through the highs and the lows as payback for her to help him through the rough times he went through all alone in the original world.
A huge crack, followed by a crater appeared in the ground where he was originally standing, everyone sighed a sigh of relief looking at Anik, they don’t know him but he still was a fellow human. Thinking about what would have become of him if he was there made everyone’s heart heavy.
Now all of the eyes were looking at Ashleen and the monster, still staring at each other. Now it was just a useless stare, the leader already lost in both of their hearts.
Humans can’t be expected to be moral but this leader still seemed better than those, but he can’t back off now, his orcs are already looking at him hoping to get their deserved revenge. Seeing there was nothing the orc could do Ashleen took a step forward, she didn’t want to kill it but of course, there is no need to decide yet, she got all the time in her hands. Real Ashleen was even scared to struggle in the darkness she was pushed in after letting the imagination kick in, if she got out at the wrong time it might end up having several people dead. But she can’t wait too long, it's already been quite some time.15 minutes at most, if nothing happens she'll try to find her way out. There is a greater chance of people dying in her own hands than them dying in the orc’s hands.
That huge orc was in her control now, and now that the leader was in the air, orcs backed down several steps. She remembered the time when the baby orc was playing with her as if she was a toy, although it was a premonition, it still felt real. Thinking about it she looked at Anik and smiled, she got back in her comfortable cross-legged position, seeing this Anik smiled as well and tried to get up from the ground, a sudden darkness covered his eyes and he sat back down with a thump. Till then Akansha was already back with the healer aunt who saw how serious the condition was on the other side and instead of going through all the potions and meds she simply used her mana fused with the best available healing magic and passed it to Anik. After a few seconds, his wounds started healing at a visible speed but he still felt weak after the blood loss.
The orcs that tried to run away after seeing their leader in the air realized that they were trapped from each side, most of them panicked but there were still a few who wanted to avenge their people. Ashleen killed the kids and 2 of their strongest comrades. Anger was fierce but they were not brainless to the extent that they can’t even process their ending if they approached her. The previous surge of madness they felt after seeing their leader could no longer be seen in them.
Ashleen who was shaking the leader like a toy stopped shaking and smiled at him. She wanted to show him that the orcs he wanted to save were all trying to somehow break through this invisible dome. She moved the leader near the orcs and all of them freaked away thinking Ashleen will make their leader attack them, after all, she already did kill the kids in this way, who knows what she can do? After they all stepped meters away, she smiled at the leader again and released him.
Both the leader and Ashleen understood what was going on, they were the only ones who understood it. Ashleen was giving the leader a chance to prove himself and come to her side. Naturally to prove his loyalty and worth he needs to kill the rest of the orcs and abandon his species. Leader understood her thinking very well, after all, he had been doing this for countless years now. He still wasn’t able to understand how a small bug was able to make it feel so miserable.
Nonetheless, the leader made its decision in less than 5 minutes. He knows very well what his fate would look like if he didn’t kill the rest of the orcs.
