Evan POV:
The air was crisp and cool, a light breeze blowing through the night. The road behind me, which was usually filled with noises of car horns, was quiet. The only sound was the soft trickle of water below as it flowed past. The bridge spanned the river, its metal rails cold against my palms. The moon hung low in the sky, casting a pale light on everything around me. I couldn't see much beyond the bridge, shrouded in the darkness of the night. It felt as if the world was holding its breath, waiting for something to happen. The stillness was almost suffocating and pressing in on me from all sides. I leaned over the railing, gazing down at the water below. The distance to the surface seemed both daunting yet mesmerizing, like a siren's call.
Nothing Matters anymore.
It was a moment of utter stillness. The world held its breath as I stood there, gazing down at the dark water below. The moon cast a dim glow on the surface of the water, but beyond that lay only darkness, an endless expanse of nothingness that seemed to stretch out to infinity. And in that moment, it was beautiful. So beautiful that nothing else mattered.
I could feel the rough, cold metal of the railing beneath my fingers, the wind whipping through my hair, the thud of my heart in my chest. But all of that was distant, as though happening to someone else. The only thing that mattered was the void, waiting for my arrival.
It's better this way, I thought and stepped up onto the railing. I looked out at the endless expanse of black one last time… took a deep breath… And jumped off.
…
My eyes fluttered open, and I jolted upright, my heart pounding in my chest. I looked around, and I was back in my mansion in Terraria. My HUD was visible again, and I realized that I just had a nightmare.
I sighed in relief before plopping down on my bed again to calm down.
Holy shit, I haven’t had that dream in a long flippen while. I thought to myself as I started reminiscing about what really happened that time.
The nightmare I just saw was based on true events. I was feeling down low when my mother was diagnosed with cancer. My alcoholic father wasn't helping. I failed my finals, and my girlfriend betrayed my trust. I was down that time and almost jumped off the bridge, but a couple close friends of mine saved me at the very last second, which is why I’m still alive and kicking.
Aisha, Terra, and Walter. These guys saved me from my, uhh, "Suicide Attempt."
Their quick thinking and selfless actions prevented me from making the biggest mistake of my life. Aisha, a good friend from school, grabbed me by the collar and yanked me away from the railing. Terra, my childhood friend and always the tough one, gave me a swift punch that snapped me out of my daze. And Walter, the wisest of us all, spoke to me in a way that I knew I had to keep moving forward.
I have to keep that memory etched in my brain no matter what. It's the reason who I am now.
A healthy lil baby boy!
I don't care if I’m 22, I’m gonna act like how I wanna act like.
Oh Well, Time to start the day.
I moved the bed sheets away from me Annnnd… Hope was sleeping there, snuggled up to me.
{Author Note: FBI! OPEN UP!!!}
This started happening after I stopped wearing the silver armor because Mia, of all people, scolded me about how I shouldn't wear the armor everywhere.
Because of Pain Immunity, I wouldn't feel any weight of the armor but I still changed it with a Black T-shirt which had a white skull on it, while I was at Home, I’m wearing it right now too.
What I didn’t realize at the time was that, my Kids found out how warm my actual body was so they became more clingy than usual… Which sometimes leads to this, they would sneak onto my bed during the night.
I stood up and carefully picked up Hope, she was almost weightless and her innocent face made me smile up a bit, it was tough considering that I’d have to leave them all one day but they were growing fast and I knew they’ll be able to take care of themselves later.
I placed her back to her crib and realized that the crib was looking much small for her now since they're both nearly half the height of Mia’s height now.
Need to make them new cribs later… I thought to myself as I heard the noise of spells being cast out from outside I already knew who was doing that but I still went to check. On my walk there, I started thinking of all the things I needed to do.
I've been carefully reading the heroes’ diaries and have concluded a few things.
1) The Heroes definitely made it back home, but it seems like there was a side effect that made everyone lost their memory of them. This is the only reason I can come up with why Ruby couldn’t tell me anything about the heroes, despite having their diaries and why Elizabeth, the queen of the elves, don’t remember anything about them despite the diaries mentioning visiting her multiple times and her liking them all as heroes. But on the plus side, the books still have their knowledge.
2)There was one hundred percent a fifth Hero here too, but it seems like, even the Heroes have forgotten about him. There are some instances in these diaries that say things like " Us five pillars will never fall!" Which was why, I concluded that.
3)And lastly, it’s almost like this book has forgotten about the Magic hero as well, but there are still some mentions of him.
All in all, the magic hero and the Fifth Hero, which I presume is a Summoner Hero, are shrouded in mystery.
I couldn’t help but sigh at how much of a pain it’s all going to be to solve.

I opened the entrance door of my mansion and saw Lucy and Oswald practicing magic in the distance, Luna was also practicing her ice spells. This all started happening when I gave them all a mana crystal and not only did their max mp increase, but their mana regeneration also increased up to mine, meaning it doesn’t take them about an hour to completely regenerate their mana anymore, but only a few moments now.
“Shishou! Good morning!” Said Lucy, as She lifted her hand and waved it in the air as her giant witch’s hat bobbed up and down. They looked happy but the ground was a bit charred, I’ll have to tell our dryad to fix that. Which reminds me, she also re-grew the entire forest that was burned down two days ago when Ruby went insane in her dragon form.
“Morning, Practicing again?” I started trying to get closer to them since my only lead back home is with them since they have one of the books of the previous heroes, I could also search for the missing pages of the skill hero diary however that’s nearly impossible since it could all be burnt or two feet underground in random parts of the world.
“We’re practicing dual magic spells,” Lucy’s words broke off my train of thought, “just like how you do it.”
She’s talking about how I use mana ball and then combine it with another spell, so it’s technically dual magic spells, but it’s one of the fundamentals of mana balls which is I can mix another spell in it and change how it’s performed with more of mana balls fundamentals.
I looked over to Luna and she was surrounded by a number of floating Ice spikes, It seems like she’s trying to practice her control over the her spells or something, but she seemed focused so I didn’t want to disturb her.
“Well then, Good luck on your training.”
I wanted to ask them when I could meet their family so I could find more clues, but there’s a time for everything and right now, it’s the time for breakfast.
I turned around to go back into my mansion but Oswald stopped me, “Umm Shishou, wait.”
“Hmm?”
“I don't mean to be rude, but…” Oswald was fidgeting around, scared if he should actually ask or not. “Do you… not know any advanced magic?
As Lucy glared at Oswald, her eyes seemed to pierce through his very soul. while I started sweating. I have tons of magic spells but their basic level spells, and they all suck unless I use them with mana ball.
I cleared my throat. “Annnd, why do you think that?”
“You've been using different beginner-level spells with Mana ball right? But the Mana ball is also a beginner-level spell. Which is why I thought that.”
…Busted.
“Shishou, is that true?” Lucy’s anger had turned to confusion as she asked me.
I couldn’t help but give up in the end, I drooped down a bit, looking defeated as I started talking, “…Yea, that's true. This is the reason why I haven't taught you any magic and only Alchemy, because I don’t know much about magic spells.”
“T-Then why didn't you tell us that before? We could've taught you Advanced Spells!”
Huh?
“I was thinking the same thing.” Oswald followed up, “You have taught us so many different things and even given us a godly item such as the "Mana Crystal" you spoke of, we’re indebted to you.”
“So, if we could help you by teaching some magic spells, then that's a small price to pay!”
The whole situation took a 360-degree turn.
{Author Note: It’s called a 180-degree turn, you dingus.}
“Umm, Thanks.” I said, feeling a bit relieved.
“So, any preference on what we should teach you first?” Lucy asked and the only thing that popped in my mind was the black hole that almost sucked me up during my fight with Ruby.
“Remember that black hole attack someone did during the dragon attack?”
I can't wait to see that mixed with the Mana Ball. Hehehe!
{Author Note: Screw the Cultists! The people should be afraid of Evan!}
They both nodded, and started teaching me about it, surprisingly, the black hole attack is actually called "Terra-Bond Breaking". But before I could test it out we were called inside for breakfast by Mia.
Everything was quite peaceful, we all ate a delicious and hearty breakfast made by Mia, Hope, and Faith, had woken up by now and gave them both their mana balls for breakfast. Everything was calm and cool.
Once everything was done, I stepped outside and the cool morning breeze caressed my skin, bringing a sense of calm and tranquility. I took a deep breath and started walking away into the wilderness to test out the black hole attack, But my plan was interrupted by the sound of tiny footsteps behind me.
Turning around, I saw Faith and Hope following me with their tiny feet, their big eyes looking up at me with admiration as their tails swished around with anticipation. I couldn't help but smile at their innocent faces, but at the same time, I couldn’t test out the spell with them in the vicinity, It’s quite dangerous.
I tried shooing them back inside but they didn’t budge. I sighed and lowered my hand, trying to think of a solution. The girls refused to leave my side, clinging to my legs and looking up at me with pleading eyes. It was heart-warming, but also frustrating at the same time. How could I test out the spell with them around? If only there was a way to turn on friendly fire so they wouldn’t get damaged by any of my attacks.
Wait a second, there is a function like that in Terraria, the team function.
In Terraria, there’s a team function that you can activate when you’ve turned on pvp, when you join a team, all members of that team can’t harm you, and you also can’t harm them. There’s a total of 5 teams, which are, red, blue, yellow, green, and white teams. I wonder if I can make us three join the same team to enable friendly fire, that way I can’t hurt them even if I wanted to.
I opened up my inventory and there were the five team color shields stacked next to each other, right beside my armor slots, I clicked on the blue one and I should have joined the blue team now.
I suddenly received a notification.
Evan Langford (Reid Sord) has joined the Blue Team!
Oh yea, I forgot that it would announce to the entire server when anyone joined any team. But regardless, how can I make these two little critters join my team?
If Lucy and Oswald were still here then I would’ve just asked them to take care of them for a moment as I test out the spell but they had to go somewhere important, something about a tournament or something, I already forgot.
While I was just thinking to myself, I, surprisingly, received another notification.
Aisha Langford has joined the Blue Team!
… What in the fresh hell-
Walter Howard has joined the Blue Team!
Wai-
Aisha: Hello?
WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON!?!
Okay, Evan. Calm down. It looks like there are more players in this world like me. If things go smoothly then that will make a lot of my troubles go away.
Walter: Huh, your names reminds me of some of my friends… you two have their last names too.
The second I read the chat, my heart jumped to my throat. There was no way but I was reminded of the nightmare I had early in the morning and how I remembered the friends who saved me, Aisha, Terra, and Walter.
Not only do these people have the same name, BUT THEY REALLY DID HAVE THE SAME LAST NAME!
HOW IN THE HELL DO I CHAT WITH THEM!?! Do I have to think and It'll automatically write it down?
I thought of writing "Hi" and the system automatically wrote it down and was waiting for my command to send.
I erased the “Hi” from my chat box and quickly replaced it with a question that will undoubtedly tell me if they are my friends from my world.
Evan: Walter are you ‘FusRoDah9000’? And Aisha are you ‘iam100%mana’?
I decided to ask them about their IGN (In Game Name) that they use all the time while we play online together.
My heart was at my throat as every second passed felt like an eternity.
Are these really my best friends from my original world?
Aisha: OMG ITS REALLY YOU GUYS!!!!!!!
Walter: HOLY SHIT! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!
Evan: OH MY GOD!!!!!!
Aisha: GHAGEEAHUIODGAOI!!!!!!
Walter: AHSOIDPAHOPSIBFA!!!!!!!
Evan: HPOASHGPOABGSDP!!!!!!!
