Evan POV:
HOLY SHIT THE BLACK HOLE REALLY IS SUCKING ME IN!!
I flew straight towards the black hole but grappled towards the ground in the nick of time, as its sucking power was stronger than the reeling power of my hook. I remained stuck in the air and slowly moved towards the hole, with my view becoming extremely distorted, as if everything was being sucked into it. It was flippen bizarre.
Ruby is right under the black hole and I can see a stream of damage numbers popping up.

The numbers keep going as I visibly saw Ruby’s 10,000 hp bar slowly diminish
“Evan!” I heard Tifa calling for me.
Oh hey! They finally saw me getting sucked into the flippen black hole!
After what felt like an eternity, the black hole disappeared and I shot forward towards where my hook was and facepalmed the dirt. When I stood up, I saw Tifa and Trish running towards me.
“Are you okay!?” said Tifa with a face full of worry.
“Pfft, You’re gonna need something more than a black hole to kill me.”
Both Tifa and Trish were relieved to see me act like how I always do. I checked to see the Dragon’s condition and saw her still covering her head up with her wings.
Why’s she doing that?
Suddenly the Blindness debuff went away even though it had a couple minutes of duration left.
Wait a second! It’s a Debuff! I checked on her dragonification and rampaging debuffs and saw that they would all go away in about 4 hours from now.
That’s a long time, we won’t survive! But! The nurse can help us! The nurse can remove any kind of debuffs!
“Guys! I found a way to win!” Everyone looked at me as Ruby uncovered her wings from her head to reveal bloodied but functioning eyes.
“I don't have time to explain but keep the dragon occupied for a few minutes, I know of a friend who can save her.”
“Are you sure!” Trish asked as Ruby flapped her wings and took flight in the blazing battlefield.
“I am absolutely sure that my friend can fix her.”
Trish nodded and I could see a bunch of arrows flying towards ruby.
“Tifa. Relay my message to everyone. I'll be back in five to ten minutes. Just keep Ruby occupied until then.” I stared running away as soon as I saw Tifa nodding her head.
Once I was out of the view of everyone, I drunk a Recall potion and immediately spawned right next to my bedroom.
“Papa!” I heard the cute sound of two kids calling out to me.
What the-?
I turned to look at my surroundings and I saw Everyone here in my room. Luna, Mia, Nezha, Helputt and Emma were looking at me curiously. I told them about the recall potion before so they weren’t surprised about me just popping into the room but then I looked down and was shocked to see the babies who called me.
Faith and Hope had grown up, they looked like babies who needed to be cradled yesterday but now they looked like 2-year olds who were walking towards me, well, stumbling is a better work but whatever. They also had grown two tails now instead of one and the tails were bigger.
As I gazed at Faith and Hope, I couldn't believe how much they had grown. They were only helpless little babies yesterday, but now they were like tiny toddlers, wobbling towards me on their two stubby legs. And their tails! They had two of them now, larger than before and swishing back and forth like furry little pendulums.
I screamed in my mind like a fangirl meeting her favorite idol
“Ohhh~! Look at you two!” I couldn’t help but kneel down and hug them both. This mere action seems to have excited them as their tails started wiggling even faster and started smacking my face a couple times.
Emma the nurse started talking in her usual monotonous voice, “I concluded that the more mana they eat, the more easily they grow up. But they don't seem to like anyone else's mana so you're the only way to provide them with sustainability, Master Evan.”
I gave a quick nod towards Emma before letting go of Faith and Hope, but lingered a moment longer to pat their heads. I remained crouched down to their level, my heart heavy as I tried to explain. "I wish I could play with you both right now, but Papa has some important work to do. Can you be good for me while I'm gone?"
Their tails drooped, and I knew I had disappointed them. "Okay," they said in unison, their voices barely above a whisper. They looked up at me with big, sad eyes that made my heart ache.
AHHHH!!! FORGIVE ME LORD FOR I HAVE SINNED!!!
I shook my head to rid of my hesitation and stood up. Hope and Faith looked around to before they tried walking towards Nezha.
“Alright Emma,” I said, “Can you fix a debuff called psychopath in a dragon?”
She nodded, “I can.”
“Alright! Okay, Emma this is an emergency so I'll bring you to the patient right now.” I then turned towards the others in the room who looked like they had a lot of questions to ask me. “Okay, so long story short. The kingdom is being attacked by a kingdom and a giant goblin army, the dragon killed the goblin army and now we gotta save the dragon. Also there’s a thousand refugees coming here and really can’t spare any time cause people’s lives are on the line.”
I didn’t really tell them everything but they all looked at me resolutely.
“Go! We can talk later, leave the refugees to us.” Surprisingly, it was Helputt who said that. But I guess he has all the experience since he was a King once.
I nodded with a big smile, “Thanks!” I then grabbed Emma’s hand and bolted towards the exit. Once we were out, I told Emma to get on my back, which she did unhesitantly before I grappled us towards the battlefield. I grappled from trees to trees and I could see Ruby in the distance spewing fire everywhere.
If you come across this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.
Emma started talking from my back, “I can fix the dragon, but I need to touch its head in order to do so. It's better if you knock it down somehow.”
“Gotcha!”
When I got there, the battlefield was chaos incarnate, with Trish, Tifa, and a number of other soldiers scrambling around on the ground, their weapons flashing in the hellfire surrounding them as they evaded Ruby’s attack from high above them all, Ruby herself circled and swooped, her massive form blotting out the sun as she unleashed fiery devastation from the sky. I spotted Elizabeth and Daisy on the rear end of the fight, their heads cool and steady compared to the rest of the battlefield, they were attacking with range, using either arrows or spells. Ignoring the chaos around me, I made a beeline for Elizabeth to deliver her the good news.
“Hey Elizabeth!” I yelled at her and she looked at me with surprise. I put down Emma who I was giving a piggy back ride and she gave a small nod to the Queen of the elves, “This here is Emma, she can fix ruby. But she needs to get close to her.”
“Wait. Really!?” Daisy screamed from behind Elizabeth.
“Trust me when I say I’m one hundred percent sure that she can do it.” My words seem to have a magical effect on Daisy, as if I had cast a spell. Her lips parted in to a smile, and her eyes shone with renewed hope.
“We just need to knock her down one way or another so Emma can fix her. I’m going to join the others and help bring Ruby down.” Elizabeth nodded as I ran forward towards the flying dragon.
Alright, Me! I have to bring her down that means getting serious! With the Mana ball, I can do virtually everything. The only limit is my imagination… And the Mana ball's limit of being one hit before disintegrating.
Uggghhh! Why can’t I think of anything!? What if I just make a gigantic fly swatter and smack her down so we could all beat her up… Wait that could work. But a fly swatter is lame, I’m just gonna make a copy of my self or something.
I channelled all of my Mana into a single mana ball which I shape-shifted into a gigantic blue apparition of myself that loomed over the dragon like a colossus. Its lower half was missing, but that didn't matter. The effigy was more than a match for Ruby, who tried to escape as soon as she saw it. Alas, her bid for freedom was cut short as the ghostly me delivered a vicious bitch slap that sent her tumbling to the ground. The impact shook the entire battlefield and blew up an ashy smoke cloud, causing everyone to turn and stare at me in amazement.
“And That! Is how you slap a fly!” I screamed while in the lime light.
“How did you do that?” Some random soldier screamed at me.
“Magic! Babe-y!”
Holy Shit, I just realized that you can answer any question here with ‘Magic’ and it would actually make sense.
I suddenly heard Trish’s scream, “Everyone! On guard!”
Ruby revealed herself from the cloud of smoke as she sprinted towards Trish and tried to chomp him up.
As Ruby attempted to snap Trish in half, he held his spear firmly and with a swift motion plunged it vertically into her mouth. The sound of metal clashing against teeth echoed through the battlefield as the spear lodged itself deep into the dragon's jaws. Ruby recoiled in pain, shaking her head frantically in an attempt to dislodge the spear.
Trish held onto the spear tightly, not giving Ruby a chance to bite down on him. The dragon let out a deafening roar, trying to shake off Trish and the spear, but he held on with all his might. The two were locked in a fierce struggle, with Trish's spear the only thing keeping him from being devoured by the monstrous beast.
“Trish!” I screamed with worry as I sprinted towards him to help.
“Damn It!” I heard Trish curse to himself before let go of the spear and being knocked away.
Ruby was swinging her head left and right, trying to dislodge the spear and I quickly used the skill Siege. I wanted to use sniping arrow right into Ruby's mouth, but it takes a second to charge up.
Ruby's head shook back and forth like a dog with a toy, making it nearly impossible to get a clear shot. I racked my brain for a solution, and it came to me in a flash: Tifa's grenades! "Tifa, your bombs!" I shouted, and she leapt into action, running toward the dragon with all the grace of a dancer. In a heartbeat, she was up on Ruby's head, deftly lobbing the grenades down her gullet before jumping off.
The sounds of muffled explosions reverberated as her throat expanded and contrasted a couple of times in quick succession,

I watched in awe as the dragon reeled from the explosion before she collapsed down on the ground. Her mouth was still bleeding and remained opened from the spear stuck in her mouth.
3/5th of her health was gone which is why I'm gonna use Wind Vortex magic with a sniping arrow aimed inside her mouth… Just in case.
The wind vortex magic was a simple but deadly spell. A tornado formed at the nook of my arrow which spun and swirled, gathering strength and speed until it was a whirling dervish of wind and debris. I charged the arrow for a couple moments more before I released it and it carried the fury of the winds with it as it sliced through the air towards its mark. Inside Ruby’s mouth.

Ruby's head yanked back up as blood flowed out like a fountain before collapsing down again, throwing the ashes of trees and dirt everywhere.
“Lights Out! Emma! Go for it!” I turned to Emma and called her out, she nodded before running towards the dragon. She stood infront of the collapsed Ruby for a moment before turning around to look at me.
“I can’t do anything until the spear is removed.”
Trish came out from nowhere and raised his hand slightly, “I’ll help you with that.”
Trish went up to help her out while Tifa came up from behind me, “Thank goodness it’s all over.”
“Sorry to burst your bubble but a fight is never over until it’s actually over.” I pointed towards Ruby, “Until she turns back into a human, the fight’s not over.”
“O-oh, Okay I will be on guard.”
Hey, don't blame me for that knowledge. There are tons of time where the bosses of games beat me up even when they have like 1% Hp left. And It’s all because I underestimate the situation.
The second Trish dislodged his spear. Ruby's eyes opened and smacked Trish and Emma away in one big sweep.

Oh shit, I hate to be correct sometimes.
Trish was knocked towards me so I caught him but unfortunately Ruby's target was Emma “No!” I screamed as I threw Trish away and grappled in between the fallen Emma and the angry and bloodied black dragon.
“BRING IT ON YOU STUPID REPTILE BITCH!” I tried acting tough but she chomped me up instead of Emma.
Honestly, I didn’t know what I expected to happen.
She tried chewing me up but luckily I had an invisible shield infront of me which blocked most of the damage on my chest… can’t say the same for my back though.

I saw a series of damage number as She thrashed her head from side to side like a furious beast, tossing me around like a plaything. And then, with a savage shake of her head, she tossed me into the air like a rag doll, my body twisting and turning as I soared toward the sky.
The second I got my balance back, I looked down towards the battlefield and there was a giant fireball heading in my direction.
I guess she’s not taking any chances now.
I scrambled to shape-shift a shield with the use of a mana ball. A blue glow flickered around my fingertips as I summoned the large shield to completely envelop me. The shield took the brunt of the attack and it crumbled into a million tiny fragments, sparks and embers exploded in every direction. I was feeling good for having avoided her head but my happiness was short lived when I realized that she was flying towards me, Her jaws opened wide, revealing a dark, cavernous maw that threatened to swallow me whole.
“HOLY SWEET MOTHER OF MILKY NUT! SHE REALLY ISN’T TAKING ANY CHANCES!” I screamed whatever that came into my mind in a fit of panic before I used the shield charge ability to dodge to the side as she bit down on empty air. When she realized I had evaded, she didn’t stop and kept flying up.
“OH NO YOU DON’T GET TO FLY AWAY AFTER THAT!” I don’t know what got over me when I just tried grappling towards her up high in the sky, The grappling hook barely managed to hit her pointy tail and sling me towards it. When I got close, I detached it from her tail and let the momentum fly me up her body, My speed slowed down when I reached from her tails to her wings but I just grabbed her wings and used them to fling up towards her face.
Ruby's blood-red eyes widened as I yelled out, "Say hello to my little friend!" I raised my off-hand, where the Cthulhu shield shimmered into existence, and charged forward with all my might.
It made a small bonk noise with a pitiful -12 damage number, but it’s wasn’t the damage I was after, but the 100% knockback chance. Ruby was sent careening through the air. I conjured a massive mallet out of thin air, its head gleaming in the sunlight. With a grunt of effort, I swung it down upon Ruby's head, sending her spinning wildly like a fan.

Unfortunately, Her tail lashed out, striking me hard in the side and knocking the wind out of me.

I quickly realized what had just happened, I was falling down from the sky and had no way to recover. if I hit the ground from this height, then I'm dead.
Oh fuck.
