*Evan POV*

I was thinking of ways to heal the king but then I just saw him wake up.

“Nezha...” the king said in pain as he looked over to us from the bed, “Is that Reid and Mia?” It didn’t felt like it, but the King sounded really tired and depressed.

Nezha stood up from the chair beside us and went over to the King. She held his hands and he started coughing for a second, I couldn’t see Nezha’s face from where I was sitting but I could tell that she was holding in a lot. A soon as the King’s coughing fit went away, she started talking “Yes. They both have suffered a lot on their journey, but they are here.”

The king nodded and started sitting upright, Nezha tried to stop him but he held his hand up, stating that it was fine. As he stood up on his bed, he quickly surveyed this room, clearly searching for someone, “And...?” He said with sadness in his voice.

The Queen did not let go of his hand clearly showing her love and wanting him to rest, “Luna is not here but she is safe with a friend of Reid.” As she said that, I could see the King become more relaxed

“Thank the gods...” The King said. “And... what's our situation?” Looks like we gotta tell him everything now.

We spend a few minutes telling all the things that had happened, between me, Mia and Nezha. Like before with Nezha, I lied about a couple things in my story that involved the system and what-not.

As we told him of our story, he slowly got angrier and angrier, his hand which was holding the Queens hand was trembling in anger as she stood there sad. He clenched his teeth seething with anger before he said, “Those Bastards...: He paused as to whether calm himself down or to process information, I do not know. “Even Ryan and Zara.”

Those were the names of Mia’s parents, she told said that in her story.

Mia looked down disheartened and I started patting her head to calm her down, “Dear...” Nezha said worriedly, “Getting angry won't solve anything.”

“BUT-” He wanted to scream out his anger but he strained his shoulder muscles and writhed in pain.

“Dear, Don’t-” Nezha sounded like she was about to cry.

“Damn it.” The king said quietly in pain, “Then who will?”

The Queen took a deep breath to calm herself down as she put her hands on his shoulder and started to... use magic? A white light started to come out from between the gaps of her fingers as the King’s pain seems to slowly go away.

Holy shit, is that Healing magic!? My mind was completely disturbed, and the reason was justified. In Terraria, the only way to heal is my using health potions and health regeneration, there are technically a few weapons that have a tiny bit life steal but that’s it which is why healing in Terraria is really hard, but If I can get some Healing magic on my hand later… Well, Let’s just say It would be very Over Powered.

“Thanks…” The King said to the Queen as his complexion was starting to look a little bit better.

“Don’t strain yourself too hard.” Nezha reminded the King with worry… but still, shouldn’t a health potion do the job?

“I’ve been wondering for some time,” I said, “but shouldn’t a healing potion heal his shoulder?”

Nezha shook her head, “No, we already tried that. the muscles of his shoulder are torn and is well away from being fixed by any healing potion.”

Muscles torn? But my ‘Peek’ skill didn’t really trigger anything? Maybe it’s because it’s level is too low? Or maybe I need some other skill. I wonder if I can Unlock a new skill if I focus really hard? I thought all that to myself as I stared at the king’s injury hard, I thought about all the Biology lessons Human anatomy that I knew of.

And, it seems like it worked, because my notification tab just notified me of something. I took a look at it and…

Peek (Lvl 1): Able to see the Health bar of Targets.

Peek (Lvl 2): Able to see the Health bar of Targets. Also, Able to see Buffs and Debuffs on Target.

Ohhh, so Peek was just not levelled high enough. I wonder what it can do at max level. My thoughts wandered for a second before I focused on the Kings Injuries again.

This time I could see an image right beneath his health bar. It was the picture of a whole arm with blood coming out from various parts. When I tried focusing on the picture, I got an explanation.

Broken Limb: Limits the user of the Limb that is damaged.

Okay, that makes sense but how do I fix it? System! Tell Me!

I waited for a moment but the system didn’t do anything.

No Response, huh. Guess I can’t do anything about it. I quickly gave up hope, since it was outside my Terraria knowledge but I suddenly got an Idea. The Nurse NPC can heal any kind of damage and fix any type of Debuffs in Terraria.

If Jeff the guide can come to my house then surely the Nurse can come too right?

I only need to make a house suitable enough for her to live in and she'll move in and then she can fix the King's Injury.

YES! Now That’s a plan! I was quite happy in my mind.

“Reid!” The king screamed out and it caught me off guard.

“Huh! W-What?” I said as I looked around to what was happening.

“Are you okay?” The king said worriedly, “We kept calling you but you were thinking about something.

Looks like I was thinking about it too hard and my brain automatically started ignoring everyone else. “Uh, yea I’m perfectly fine.” I said with a smile as I scratched my head, “No worries here.” Not that I look, The queen who was standing next to the bed was now sitting there with the King as they both held hands.

“So, did you really lose all your memories?” The King asked me really saddened.

I hesitated for a second but in the end, I nodded.

The atmosphere was heavy, everyone was looking down but Nezha decided to break the silence “What should we do now?”

We all looked at her confused. “Our kingdom is ruined. The only one of the Silver Daemons Tribe that are left alive are only us and Luna.” The solid truth hit the King like a bullet. I should feel bad about this too but I don't really know anyone here. Honestly, I only worry about Mia because she just lost her parents and all relatives, that and she reminds me of my little sister back on earth… I hope she’s okay there.

There was a difficult expression on everyone's faces, but everyone was quiet including me. We were all thinking what to do now. I don't want to have any Relation here in this world... but, I suddenly got an Idea. But If I tell them of that Idea, I’m going to be roped in so much more trouble. But…

Everyone deserves to be happy. Especially these guys. They’ve lost too much. I looked at them as Mind told me I was going to make the wrong decision, I knew with every fibre of my being that what I was going to say will have consequences… but, I was going to do it regardless, They remind me of my Family, and if my family was in a situation like this then I would want them to be happy too.

“Why don't we live like a family?” I said it quickly before my ego stopped me.

The King looked at me confused. “What?” He asked me as if he didn’t understand what I just said.

I started explaining, “The king and queen can be the mom and dad, the rest of us will be siblings?” I looked at everyone and they were all looking at me in shock, I thought of what to say next carefully “Um, I already made a house in the forest a bit away from the Human Kingdom and we can all live there. Not as a ruler and citizens but as a family?” I asked them and waited for a response.

At first, everyone was shocked by my words. But then, it looks like the King understood what I was trying to say and he cracked a smile.

“Actually, that's not such a bad Idea,” The King said as his smile get getting bigger and bigger “No. That's a Great Idea!” The king now sounded completely ecstatic.

“That means...” Nezha seemed to have understood too as a smile grew on her face too. The only one confused here was Mia who kept looking in between everyone confused.

“Yes!” The king said to Nezha excitedly, “We're going to adopt Reid and Mia.”

As soon as the king said that, Mia looked completely shocked with both her hands covering her mouth.

The King looked over to Mia and started talking, “Mia. I know you have just lost your family but we're willing to be your new family.” Crystal-like Tears started to come out from Mia’s crystal-like blue eyes.

“We may not be your Real Family. But we're willing to give you the love they gave you.”

Mia really started to cry now.

The Queen stood up from the bed and hurried to Mia as she gave her a warm hug.

“It's alright, Mia. If you’re fine with me, then I want to be your new mother.”

Mia started bawling her eyes out as she returned the hug, indicating she was happy with Nezha.

Now at this point I absolutely have to say something. If kryptonite is Super-man’s greatest weakness. Then sad or heart-breaking things like what’s happening right now is my kryptonite. What I mean by that is, while I did had poker face on right now, my eyes were tearing up harder than a watering hose.

I can't stand emotional things like these so I wanted to go outside. Maybe I wont cry this much outside. I stood up and Nezha quickly said with tears in her eyes as she was hugging the crying Mia as hard as she could. “Ried?”

I looked away from them and said, “Yea I, uh, I have something to do outside you all carry-on.” Before they said anything else, I quickly retreated outside.

Damn it. I’m not good with emotional stuff.

I waited outside for a few minutes trying to control my tears until I no longer cried. As soon as my eyes stopped watering and I felt good again, the door opened up and I turned around to see only Mia come out.

“H-Hey Mia!” I said quickly as I tried to man-up again “Everything okay now?”

She nodded as she started fiddling with her hands in nervousness. I stared at her and she looked away, avoiding my eyesight.

“Um, Do you hate me?” She said quietly almost as if she didn’t want me to hear it.

“What? Of course not!” I said as I Waved my hands away to remove the claim.

Her face brightened up as she finally looked at me, “Then do you like me?”

Uhhh…. Where is this going? I mean she does remind me of my little sister a lot, but… how should I answer right now?

“Well,” I said as I started scratching my head again. “You’re like a little sister to me? If that makes you feel any better?”

It seemed like I hit the bulls-eye as she smiled brightly and jumped into me for a hug.

“Woah!” I said confused, having no clue what’s going into her mind. Until she finally screamed out.

“Big Brother!”

Oh. That’s why she was nervous. She thought I came outside because I didn’t really want to be her brother and she got scared. Well, Regardless, it looks like I got myself into some Deep shit again.

I signed as I started patted her head.

I mean she lost her Family in front of her, the last time I knew of someone who lost his family in front of him, he started wearing a bat suit and beating the shit out of bad people. So, I guess I did the right thing?

Yea! I definitely did the right thing!

Damn it, it’s gonna be even harder to leave this world now, isn't it?

I sighed, uncertain of the future.

I looked down at Mia whom head I was caressing “Don’t worry, we're all here for you.”

She nodded while she was hugging me. She wasn’t crying, at least I can't hear or see her cry from this position.

Just a few seconds later the King and Queen came out. The king had his hand around the Queen who was helping him walk.

The king started talking to me, “Alright Rei- No, you wanted to be called Evan until you get your memories back right?” He asked me and I nodded. “Alright then, Evan take us to your house you spoke of.”

“Umm, About that,” I said with a helpless face, “My house can’t really fit a family of 5 right now since I’m still building it. We’ll go to the Human Kingdom for now and stay there for some time until I complete the house.” I paused for a second until I remembered another thing. “Oh yea, we will also get to meet Luna there at the Human Kingdom so, it looks like we gotta go there first.”

They both smiled and Nezha then said, “Sounds like a plan.”

I nodded and it looks like the King remembered something “Oh yea, that reminds me. You probably forgot my name right? My name is Helputt.” Oh yea, I kept calling him King.

“Alright. Now how do we go there fast with an injured person on our hand?” Helputt seemed disheartened by my comment but Nezha tried to cheer him up. At this point Mia had also let go of my body as she started wiping her eyes.

We we’re all thinking what to do until I heard some thudding and looked towards where the noise was coming from. I looked into the distance and I saw someone coming here on a horse.

Is that Tifa and Sarah?

On of the person on the horse started waving at me, “Evan!” She called out and I instantly knew it was Tifa.

They both came at us and stopped right in front of me. Almost ran me over.

I was about to say something but Sarah interrupted me, “Hey remember our promise of you joining us?”

“Nope not at all.” I said as she started pouting, “By the way, can we borrow those horses?” With those horses we can bring Helputt back to Luna ASAP.

Tifa didn’t even ask why I wanted the horses and immediately complied, She said, “Hm? Sure.”

Sarah tried to stop her, “Tifa, Wait!”

But Tifa had already dismounted from her horse. She looked at Sarah and asked, “What is it?”

At this point, Sarah was mad and as nothing was going her way and made a really weird sound. “Guhhh! We could have bribed him to join us if he wanted to borrow our horse.”

Tifa looked at me before looking back at Sarah. “No. Evan is not only our saviour but is also a friend of mine.”

Holy shit! I thought to myself and started acting like I was playing a certain pocket monster game, Tifa Uses Back-Talk!

Sarah put her hands on her chest as she screamed out, “UGH! My Heart!”

HOLY SHIT! ITS SUPER EFFECTIVE!!

Jokes aside, after some talking, they agreed to help us reach the Humans Kingdom. The King and the Queen Mounted with Tifa since Sarah could not trust me with Tifa, So Mia and I Mounted With Sarah, Mia in-between Me and Sarah.

The sun also decided to come out. The trees hid the Sunrise but the Dawn's red rays were Piercing through the gaps of the densely populated trees looking like fire dancing with the leaves.

We stopped by the Elf Kingdom to Meet Queen Elizabeth one more time before heading off. The King and Queen Jaw almost hit the floor when they saw the damage done to the forest and hit the reality that I was the one faced the monster that did this head on. And then we resumed our Journey.

After a few uneventful hours we finally reached the Human Kingdom.

The guards easily gave us permission to go inside. And we went straight to the Adventurers Guild.

Tifa and Sarah wanted to look after the horses and also wanted to stay in the dark. They said the humans don’t take kindly to the Elves. As I almost blurted out that I’m also a human but I remembered the fact that I’m in Reid's Body and was not a Human.

We went inside the Guild and it was completely empty aside for Liza, behind the counter, who looked sleep deprived with really dark eye-bags.

When she saw us she was surprised, as her eyes open wide.

“Did yo-” She said with her hands on the counter, supporting her body.

I raised a hand to stop her from talking, “I killed the Thing. Nobody is in danger now.”

She made a huge smile before mouthing off, “Thank you.” And then finally collapsing on the table.

“Woah! Liza! Are you okay!?” I said as I hurried up to the counter, worried about her health. But, she just started talking while face down on the table

“For the first time in my life I have done so much paperwork without sleep. I don’t have the energy to move, I can at least, finally, pass out”

“Wait! Liza! Quick! before passing out, Where’s Luna?” I said.

Liza started talking with exhaustion with her head down on the counter, “Go out from here then the first building to your right. On the second floor, behind the blue door. Lark should be taking care of her.”

“Okay thanks, Liza. Have a Goodnight sleep.” I told her as she nodded from the counter top. Well, it just turned daytime but I was not going to deny her of her nap-time.

We followed Liza's Instruction and were behind the blue door.

I knocked a couple times only to hear Lark’s tired voice. “Please Tell me it's you Evan.”

“Yea It's me.” I said.

The door slowly opened and I saw a bruised, black eyed and a beaten up Lark.

“Um, Should I even ask?” I said.

“No, but I’ll tell you one thing, I now know that I'm never ganna do any babysitting mission from now on.” Lark said almost angry at himself.

“My Dude?” I asked confused.

He walked forward and grabbed my silver armour collars as if he couldn’t forgive me to the torture I stuck him in. “Your little Princess did this to me and also broke all of the furniture. She, also, refused to eat anything until she saw you and beated anyone who tried to get close.

I looked behind to the King and Queen and they had a helpless face on them.

“Well, uh, thanks lark, Here a token of Gratitude.” I said as I showed him 2 Silver coins. The main reason I was doing this was so he could let go of my shoulders.

He looked at me in shock before getting really happy and letting go of my metal collar, “Holy Shit you Serious!?”

I nodded, “Yep, now go get wasted”

“HELLL YEAHHHH” Lark screamed out as he snatched the coins from my hands and ran outside.

I looked at the King and Queen and they had a helpless face on them, as if they couldn’t do anything.

We went inside only to see bits of ice stuck everywhere with all the furniture broken with ice spikes struck in between them and Luna looking down while sitting on a chair and tied up. Seems like she was sleeping.

I went up to her and said in her ear in a quiet voice.

“Psst, Hey luna, I'm back.” I said as quietly as I could but it seems like that was enough to wake her up. She opened her eyes slowly and blinked a couple time to get adjusted in the small light coming from outside.

She looked at me and went wide eyed.

“Reid!” She screamed out. And then she looked behind me and screamed out again. “Mom! Dad! Mia!”

“We're Back!” I said as I used my Copper Short Sword to cut the ropes that held her hostage.

She stood up and jumped at us Before she started to cry. I caught her and everyone closed up on me. She cried for a while before she started to punch me for leaving her. I'm pretty sure even without the Pain immunity, I wouldn’t have felt the force of her punches.

She finally let me go and went on to hug everyone else.

“Okay guys you all fill Luna in on what's happened.” I said as I turned around, “I’m gonna go and update the guild on what happened before we make our next move.”

The King and Queen nodded and I headed outside. As soon as I closed the blue door behind me I got a notification.

I screamed those words in my head as my vision went black and I collapsed.
