I got information from Theo that there's been some attacks on the northern border of the pack lands. That border is very close to the borders of the IronClad Coven and the Silver Moon Pack. But it seems that the attacks are more centered on the border next to the IronClad Coven. That gave me an uneasy feeling so I thought it would be a good time for Trinity and I to head back home.
We met up with Trinity's Dad, Andrew and her Grandma, Queen Sabrina and Grandfather, King Mark and said our goodbyes and traveled to the pack lands. Once we returned home everyone, including Mom and Dad were there to greet us.
Mom and Dad were probably the most excited to see us again and talk to Trinity about the babies. I'm going to assume Mom is going to start driving Trinity up the wall about choosing baby names when we don't know the gender for the children yet.
Knowing Mom she'll probably make sure that Trinity rests as much as possible because of being pregnant instead of training a lot. Of course, Trinity being Trinity will fight back and find ways to train anyway.
Honestly, since she's considered a powerful Celestial and she has her own realm I don't think she needs to train as much as she's been doing lately.
The next day after we got back home Mom and Dad decided to throw a huge party for Trinity and I to celebrate the fact that we're a part of the Royal Family even though we haven't been officially coronated into it. The party was also to celebrate the fact that Trinity is pregnant with triplets.
After the party Theo couldn't help himself. The first thing he said as we got down to business was, "So how are the stomach ulcers doing? Do you know the gender of them yet?"
I rolled my eyes. "Ha, ha, you know that joke is getting really old! Even Jacob won't let up on it!"
"That's because it's comedy gold! How did you wind up finding out about Trinity's pregnancy before she did? Isn't it usually the other way around?" Theo asked.
I nodded. "Yeah I know, the doctor managed to sniff it out because he was a werewolf. Don't know why he didn't tell Trinity first but he told me first instead. I decided to hide Trinity's pregnancy from her because I figured she was stressed out enough as it is."
"And that's when you decided to call the babies stomach ulcers?" Theo asked.
I nodded again.
Theo's next question was, "But when are you going to find out the gender?"
I shook my head. "I have no idea. With how crazy everything is I'm not sure if we'll find out the gender until they're born."
"I see," Theo said. "Anyway, all jokes aside, what are we going to do about those attacks that have been happening near the IronClad Coven's borders? It's clearly Trinity's mom who's behind those attacks."
"Yeah I have the same feeling and that's the concerning part. She should know that we'll have the backing of more than one pack if she wants to declare war with us!"
"So what are we going to do?"
"I have no idea, but we might want to notify our allies so they can prepare for whatever war might be coming down the pipe."
"Sounds like a plan to me! On another note, if you see a wolf that looks like Sasha's wolf running the pack, that is Sasha's wolf."
I gave Theo a look of confusion. "What? Sasha's dead! She was buried a month ago!"
"Yes I know," Theo said. "Ava and I managed to cast a spell that separated Sasha's wolf from her body. So when she was killed she didn't have her wolf."
"So her wolf is alive but she isn't?" I said.
Theo nodded. "Exactly!"
"Interesting, didn't know there was a spell like that that a werewolf can do!" I said.
"Actually we contacted Sharry, Trinity's friend and she did the spell for us!"
I blinked. "Seriously? You didn't do the spell on pack grounds did you?"
Theo shook his head. "No, no we didn't because we know that will affect the magic. We did it on neutral territory where magic is allowed."
I let out a sigh of relief, "Oh good. The last thing we need right now is a breach of our borders magic at the moment."
"I totally understand that because we have Trinity's psycho mother trying to start a war," Theo agreed.
"You can say that again," I growled. "So let's work on notifying our allies and ask them to send over ten of their best warriors to help us. We'll pay them in exchange for the help."
Theo nodded. "Alright, is there anything else that you want me to do?"
I shook my head. "Nope, that's everything for now. You may go."
I gave Theo a dismissive wave and he left the room. Right after Theo left, I pulled out a notebook and pen. I made a few notes and then opened my laptop and made a document with a list of everything that I needed to do to prepare for the war that was about to come.

"You know, Grandma Sorceresses is a very crafty one isn't she?" Justin asked.
We were sitting on a fallen tree branch in my realm discussing recent events. I nodded. "Yup! Honestly, I think she saw my pregnancy coming."
Justin laughed, "Yeah knowing her she probably did. And she probably knows what your kids will grow up to be, but she doesn't tell anyone anything unless she feels a need to. And most of the time she doesn't feel the need to tell anyone anything."
"No kidding, in any case don't you like what I've done with this place?" I asked. "I'm not done decorating yet though."
"Yeah this place looks nice," Justin said. "Every realm that I've been to looks different, some look simple like this one, others look extravagant and others look… Well… They look interesting."
Did you know this story is from Royal Road? Read the official version for free and support the author.
I raised an eyebrow. "Interesting? What do you mean by interesting?"
"Well, it's hard to describe what they look like," Justin said.
"Oh," I sighed, "I know there's a possible war coming. I want to be strong enough to face it. But after I got attacked like I did… I don't know if I'm strong at all anymore. How can a weak Luna lead a pack?"
Justin's eyes went wide. "I heard about that from Theo, so it's true!" He gave me a look of concern and placed both of his hands on my shoulder. "Listen to me Trinity! Don't ever and I mean EVER call yourself weak ever again! You aren't weak, as a matter of fact you're far from the word weak! You are strong and you will continue to be strong even after you give birth."
"And you didn't break the second rule of combat because you were asleep when you were kidnapped!" I heard Danger growl. "Last time I checked, even Celestial's need sleep!"
Danger came up to us and sat down on her haunches next to the log I was sitting on. She sighed, "Why is it that wolves tend to be smarter than their human counterpart?"
"Hey!" I snapped, "I'm not dumb!"
"Oh that's right," Danger teased. "You're not dumb you're just hard-headed! Which is the same thing as dumb!"
I opened my mouth to say something but I closed it because I figured if I said anything else in regards to that it would give Danger more ammunition to tease me.
"I would rather Trinity think she's dumb than weak!" Justin exclaimed.
I gaped at him for saying that. But then again I guess I shouldn't be surprised because of what Justin said before. He seems to be like everyone else on the issue. It seems like everyone including him hates the fact that I think I'm weak. I don't get it, I got r*ped and yes I was sleeping. I feel weak now, why is that so hard for people to understand? Or do they choose to not understand? It's so fucking annoying that people don't seem to care about what I think and to feel validated in their feelings towards things.
Justin frowned. "What's wrong?"
"Do you even care about what I think?" I said. I had no idea why but at that moment my anger was starting to surface.
He paused. "What do you mean by that?"
"Why is everyone so eager to validate their own feelings towards me and not give a damn about how I feel, huh? Do you even know what it feels like to be hunted down like an animal just because you ran away from home? Do you know how many people I had to kill just to survive? Do you know what it feels like to be assaulted the way I was?" My anger at this point kept pouring out of me. "No, you don't know! No one knows and this makes me finally realize that no one gives a damn!"
I snapped my fingers and transported us out of my realm and outside the training area. Before Justin could say another word I shouted, "You don't give a damn and neither does anyone else! It's always you're not weak this, you're not weak that! Does anybody once stop to try and understand why I feel this way? No, you don't! You're sooo busy validating your own feelings about me that you don't care!"
"Trinity," Justin cautioned. "Take a deep breath-"
"DON'T FUCKING TELL ME TO CALME DOWN! THAT'S ANOTHER THING PEOPLE HAVE BEEN TELLING ME TO DO A LOT LATELY AND I'M GETTING TIRED OF IT! YOU KNOW WHAT? GO FUCK YOURSELF!" I roared. After that I took off into the woods near the training area.

As soon as I left the office after I finished work for the day was when I sensed it. Trinity was pissed and I figured it was another mood swing. I groaned because I'm starting to get annoyed by what was going on with her. I'm pretty sure she's just as ready for the kids to be born as I am at this point.
Since Justin was the last person with her, I kind of felt sorry for him because he has to bear Trinity's wrath for the moment.
I heard Danger's voice in my head, Yeah Trinity had another mood swing but I think it was justified this time.
What do you mean? I questioned.
She said something along the lines of why is everyone trying to validate their feelings about her not being weak and not caring about how she feels. She's kind of right in a way. Everyone keeps thinking, oh she's such a badass -which she is- she's every Alpha's dream mate! -Which she is- But as soon as she has one valid concern it's like everyone is shocked that she has concerns in the first place. Danger responded.
My eyes went wide. Great, first she feels weak and now she feels she can't have feelings! Poor things been through so much trauma in her life. This is exactly why I need to get here to open up to me and at least tell me how she's feeling before she explodes! But you're right, she has a point but at the same time she needs to open up instead of staying in her shell. Thanks Danger. I think right now we should let her calm down for a little bit and then try and talk to her.
Sounds like a plan to me because she's shut off her mindlink to me as well. I think she's mad at me because I've been saying the same thing everyone else has been saying lately about her not being weak. I was thinking that if I kept saying she's not weak it would help her get over the feeling, but that seems to have backfired! The scary thing is that she's developed enough power to cut off communication with me and she's never done that before! Danger thought.
I could hear the worry in Danger's voice. But what she doesn't realize is that even if Trinity cuts off communication with her, she won't be going anywhere. Heck, I've had my moments that I got so mad at Jacob that I stopped talking to him for a couple of days. Once I've calmed down then I try to have a civilized conversation with him.
Look I know you're worried but even if Trinity cuts off communication with you, you're not going anywhere! You're a part of her and she can't get rid of you. Unless… I thought.
Unless what? Danger asked.
I remembered the research on that spell Theo helped Sharry cast on Sasha. From what I learned the spell will only work if a few things happen. The first thing is that the mate bond has to be completely broken. Not partially broken, completely broken. The second thing that has to happen is that the person the spell is being casted on has to have a dark soul, meaning they have to be nothing but pure evil. The third thing that has to happen is that the person's blood that the spell is being casted on has to be dropped into a small golden cup.
I shook my head. There's a very complex spell that can take someone's wolf away from them. But there's a few requirements that need to take place for that to happen. But no one in their right mind would do that to themselves and even if the spell is casted on someone, those requirements have to be met or it won't work. So don't worry you're not going anywhere! Just give her some time to calm down without telling her to calm down.
Danger sighed, Alright then, if you say so. I guess I'll just hang out in the back of her mind until she wants to talk to me again.
That's probably a good idea. I thought.
After Danger went quiet I decided to head back to my room because I knew Trinity would be there. She did run into the woods after she unloaded her anger on Justin but I could sense that she was in our room now.
When I got to the room Trinity was sitting on the bed doing nothing but staring off into space. I sat down on the bed next to her. "Do you want to talk about it?"
She looked at me. "Talk about what?"
"Do you want to talk about how you're feeling?" I asked.
"Why? It's not like you're concerned about it anyway. Oh that's right I forgot! I'm a powerful Celestial. I can't feel weak, I can't feel any way about what I went through other than I'm strong right?" She scoffed. "Oh or are you looking for validation on your own feelings about me not being weak like everyone else?"
I shook my head. "No that's not it! I'm really concerned about you!"
She gave me a skeptical look. I sighed, "I'm your mate goddamn it! Of course I care about you, if I didn't I wouldn't worry about you having mood swings left and right! Please, let me in, tell me how you're feeling."
She sighed, "It's just as I said, I feel weak. I've been attacked plenty of times before but nothing like what Sasha did to me. I tanked through all the other attacks! I mean for crying out loud, I have some many kills to my name, it's not even funny!"
"Okay take a deep breath before you continue," I said.
She did as I told her to and continued, "What exactly do you want to know about me?"
I thought about it, "You know what? We never really got much of a chance to really get to know each other's backstories. It's not really mandatory, but I would like to know your backstory. And you can know mine in return if you want?"
Trinity smiled at me. "That sounds like a really good idea. The question is, where should I start?"
"Hmm, maybe you start at the very beginning," I said.
She nodded and that's when the floodgates opened and she started to tell me her story.
