"Welcome to Godspear City." The guards quickly let them pass, especially when they saw Toh Gen and Xue Xinling's pass. Except, well, for Huang Lu. "You there. This is for you."

Huang Lu stared at the simple wooden item. A servant's entry permit. He shrugged, and took it. The girls all looked horribly offended, and wanted to argue with the guards, but Huang Lu just glared at them, and they all quieted down.

"That's an insult, my dear." Xue Xinling protested. "As a cultivation at the 5th realm, they should at least you give an honored guest pass!"

Huang Lu shrugged. "No need, no need. There's really no need to fuss. I'm here to get some pants."

"Ah. I need to go pay a visit to the Eastern Wind's Godspear Branch." Zhan Yuanfang said. "Master said both of us should go."

Toh Gen rolled his eyes. "Oh, darn I forgot we need to visit that old lady."

Uncle Gui seemed to have remembered. "Ah yes. I actually happen to know Lady Sha Feng as well. Come, let's go."

Toh Gen frowned, but didn't dare reject Uncle Gui's self-invitation to their courtesy visit. Uncle Gui looked at the others.

"I think it's best if all of you come along." Uncle Gui said to Qian Ziyi and Xue Xinling. "Sha Feng is one of the hidden masters of the Eastern Wind Sect, it's good manners to pay respects."

Huang Lu thought about it, and then shook his head. "I'll go get pants."

And so, Huang Lu was alone in Godspear City, while the others joined Toh Gen and Yuanfang's courtesy visit..
