"That was too cold of you, Brother Huang Lu." Toh Gen nursed his broken left hand, he had taken a pill of some kind of quickly repair such a damage. After all, cultivators fought huge battles all the time.

The bandits fired arrows for a start, and both Xue Xinling and Zhan Yuanfang took out their swords and blocked the attacks. "Bandits!"

Toh Gen laughed as he dodged an arrow. "Well, my arm's injured and my cultivation's still recovering, so don't count on me to do anything."

Ten bandits, all in the peak of the 1st realm appeared, and they were led by three more bandit leaders who both looked to be mid of the 2nd realm. Xue Xinling and Zhan Yuanfang were stronger than them, but with the numbers, they could struggle.

They fought, and the two ladies revealed their superior cultivation and combat techniques. Huang Lu, decided to just watch, as the bandits focused on fighting them. The three bandit leaders used a hodgepodge of cultivation methods, and seemed to be copied from various sects.

They fought mostly to a draw, since the two ladies could not fight offensively against three bandits who were just a step behind, and also 10 lesser cultivators!

"I think you should help, bro." Toh Gen said.

Huang Lu nodded. "I was just waiting for them to point their sword at me."

"They seem to think you're a small fry at the way they are ignoring you."

"That's good, isn't it? Anyway, how do most cultivators deal with bandits? Do you disable them and send them back to the police, or just kill them?"

"Honestly I just kill them. These bandits are probably bankrolled by some corrupt official. Even if you send them back, they'll just get freed some time later."

"That's true." Huang Lu stepped forward, and rammed the three bandit leaders. He was too fast, and they could not react to him. The three vomited blood in a single strike, the power difference was too large.

Huang Lu was merciless. A single punch to the head, and the bandit leader's qi-reinforced skull was shattered. The other two looked in horror.

"You are just first realm!" They asked, as they could not believe the damage they all received. Muscles could not do this. Not in a world where Qi-reinforced bones and muscles are significantly more powerful than actual muscles.

"Oh!" Huang Lu just realised why they ignored him. "I forgot I had that." In truth, it was the author who forgot, as he often does, but we're digressing and so we return to the fight. He punched the other bandit leader, and he coughed blood as his fist shattered his ribcage.

The 3rd bandit leader immediately turned and ran. Huang Lu charged, and with a swift punch, the man was defeated. Another easy win for the MC!

With the three bandit leaders killed, the two ladies quickly killed the rest. Huang Lu noticed how these two normally prim and proper ladies could kill without blinking. But that was life in a cultivation world, one must be prepared to kill, and these ladies clearly had killed before.

"Alright, we're done!"
