Huang Lu launched a [piercing strike] into one of the spider's legs, and the legs shook from the impact. The spider retaliated with its other legs, and Huang Lu dodged it. Thanks to the oil, he was slightly stronger and faster than the spider, even though they were at the same realm.
He punched the same leg again, and this time, he saw the carapace of the spider's leg crack. And he repeated it with another [piercing thrust]. The leg shattered, but only the part where he hit.
"You need to hit the legs at the joints with the main body with your punches, or it can still lunge at you with its broken legs!" Toh Gen shouted, his swords did just small cuts on the carapace. At their level, in the 3rd realms, this spider was too tough.
Huang Lu nodded, and he jumped onto the spider. The spider franticly tried to shake him off, but Huang Lu was more persistent. No, he was a damned muscular man, and he was going to stick to the giant spider like a pest.
The spider tried to swipe him off, but instead smacked its own legs. He endured cuts, as he could not avoid all the blades on the spider's legs. They hurt, but this was but a scratch. He punched one of the spiders right at the part where the legs met its main body, and a single hit was all it took. Huang Lu's punches smacked into the joint with such force that it cracked, and the joint itself shattered.
The spider roared in fury, it's eight eyes glared. They glared, but luckily, this spider didn't have eye-rays. It's mouth tried to bite Huang Lu, but he was always out of reach. The spider tried to swipe him off again, and he jumped. This time, the spider moved its body and rammed Huang Lu. It knocked him and he smashed into the wall behind him. It hurt, his body covered in blood.
He charged again, and took out a few more legs. With each destroyed leg, the spider's movements and attack became weaker. It bled, it's greenish blood covered the floor. The others tried their best to avoid it, and on occasions, counter-attacked.
But it was the fate of sidekicks to be mostly useless when it mattered.

It's all up to the main character to deliver the finishing blow. The spider lost four of its legs, and then suddenly, it started to shake abruptly.
"What's happening!"
The spider glowed, and then transformed! It shrunk to a size of a person, and stood on two legs.

"The fuck." Huang Lu said, he had never seen a monster transform. But too late, he felt the spider punch him in the gut, and he flew into a wall. It hurt, a little bit. The spider still had a spider head, and it's body was furry. But it had two spider legs and two spider... arms?
It looked the same. It gestured at Huang Lu, and Huang Lu prepared himself for a fight.
The spider used some kind of martial technique! It jabbed with its arms!
Huang Lu blocked, and blocked, and blocked. He felt the spider hit him repeatedly, but his strength was defense!
He paused, and he saw an opening! He retaliated with [The Banned Punch]! It landed on the furry body of the spider-human. It shook, and the spider now stopped punching!

The spider's main body splattered, and all the legs emitted a foul gas. The gas started to melt things around them, and Huang Lu was trapped right in the thick gas. His oil shone, and the gas did not hurt him, his body and skin was impervious to the foul gas.
When he approached his companions, they stared. They all stared, except Toh Gen, who smiled.
"It seems you have a propensity for exposing your lower half."
The gas melted his clothes. His pants. But before he could even take out his spare pants-

Huang Lu gladly got dressed. "I seem to have rather bad luck with clothes."
"Told you the girls should make them for you!" Toh Gen said.
"What are the rewards?!" Zhan Yuanfang asked, as she looked around. They all didn't have anything.
