Amity hummed to herself as she flipped through her textbook. She hadn’t really been paying attention to her studies for the past hour. It wasn’t her fault though. They’d had P.E. today for the abomination track and Luz just had to stop by. Had to wear the smallest shorts in existence, supposedly because they were the only pair Eda had for her. Had to give her the dumbest grin when she was told they were inappropriate. And then of course had to plant herself in Amity’s brain for the rest of the day.
“Hey, Amity.”
Ugh. She even thought she heard the idiot’s voice still. Except of course it had to sound older. Oh Titan, how would Cluz have looked in those shorts? Her face turned bright red at the thought before beginning to hyperventilate as she tried to calm herself.
And then had a heart attack as the voice spoke again while the owner swung her legs into her room. “Probably pretty hot, huh?”
Amity fell off her bed in her gay panic before scrambling to her feet as she processed the fact that, well, Cluz was even alive. It had been at least a little over a week since anyone had seen any trace of the clone and since most clones didn’t last for more than three days before decaying without coming back to their summoners the fact that she looked just like she did when Amity had last seen her was puzzling, to say the least. The only difference appeared to be that one of her hands was missing a couple fingers and they were already quickly restoring themselves. “How are you here? Or, more importantly, why? You know we’re all going to just try and trap you so you can get back into Luz. She’s even said that she’s scared of what she thinks she might have lost.” That last part was a bluff but Luz had acted off for a couple days after the whole clone incident and they all suspected that Cluz had to have taken more out of the human than the rest of the clones.
Cluz sighed for a moment as she pulled her staff through the window. It now had a knapsack at the end, though normally she kept the bandana stuffed into her pocket when she wasn’t carrying anything. Today, it made some sort of swishing sound. “Trust me when I say no one actually wants me gone. Luz might think that, but I’m doing her a favor by sticking around.” She then smirked as she said, “As for the how, it’s not like you all have the best security around the house. Even down by the gate is close enough for me to mooch a bit of energy off of the twins so I’ve been fine and plan to stay that way. Then again,” she said with a wink, “you were already thinking about how fine I would be, especially in those shorts of Luz’s.”
Amity turned bright red before her heart froze. “Wait, you were watching us? Have you been watching us all the time?”
Cluz shrugged. “Sometimes. Luz asked me to help her after all and if I don’t keep tabs on her, how do I do that? Besides, then I wouldn’t have gotten the idea to take a page out of Eda’s book and make,” she paused for a second to swing her staff so the knapsack was now in front of Amity, “this?”
Amity bit her lip for a second as she looked at the knapsack. She should be working on making an abomination to grab Cluz with. After all, she meant it when she said they had to get her back to being with Luz. The fact that she’d been stalking the pair didn’t help her feel any better. But then there was the fact that it was because of her that she’d ever kissed Luz and she couldn’t help but pause.
She slowly slipped a hand into one of the holes right below the knot of the bandana before seeing that the whole ‘page of out Eda’s book’ thing was literal. After all, there was some sort of potion inside. Cluz hummed for a second to catch Amity’s attention before saying, “That will let you get back at Luz and Eda for almost giving you a nosebleed. Promise.”
Amity looked back at the potion before sucking her lips in.

Luz hummed to herself as she came out of the Owl House. She’d felt a little bad just twenty four hours ago when Eda had given her a pair of gym shorts to wear but the look on Amity’s face had been priceless. The fact that she knew Amity had P.E. again today made her giddy to get her crush to stare at her again, even if she shouldn’t be so excited about it. Maybe if she tried some yoga she could make Amity…
Luz dropped her lunchbox as a figure turned the corner. She had bright yellow eyes that were accentuated by a light amount of light blue eyeshadow. Over her body she wore a simple, light purple dress that, quite unfortunately for Luz’s lesbian heart, hugged her mature body in all the right placed. Especially that chest that Luz could only dream of growing into with how non-existent hers was right now. That would have been bad enough to begin with but the figures painted black nails’ top coat glistened in the light and made sure that where the woman in front of her wanted Luz to look, she could with a simple wave of her hand. Something that made the fact that the stranger patting her front down all the more enticing.

Or, Luz wished it was a stranger. After all, the woman’s twin colored green hair with a brown half star at the front was all too recognizable. Just like everything with this older Amity though, her ponytail was much longer as it seemed to glide like a thin river down her back before stopping at her hips. The hips that swayed from side to side as she walked. The hips that Luz couldn’t help but sway along with.
With each step Amity took, Luz’s face turned brighter and brighter red. Her head even began to steam as Amity leaned over to look her crush in the eyes. She didn’t say a thing though. Instead, she made sure to listen to Cluz’s advice to give her younger self no chance to think about anything else. Words would only make her be able to ignore how good Amity looked right now. And boy was Amity trying to deal with the fact that after Cluz’s makeover, she couldn’t deny that the clone had good taste, even if she was shit at applying makeup.
She just had to try the last touch of their plan. So, after staring into Luz’s eyes for a few seconds, Amity gave her crush the smallest smile and fluttered her eyelashes at her.
K.O.! Luz almost threw herself to the ground as she smacked her face. She had to do something though not to have the sudden, drastic nose bleed she had from spraying all over Amity’s nice dress. Or to try and hide the fact that she couldn’t handle this in any sort of way. She could only try to distract herself by saying something. Anything. “Amity, you look amazing today!”
Amity turned bright red at just how effective the final blow was. Cluz had promised it would get Luz back though but that didn’t mean the normally serious girl was done. Instead, she crossed her arms under her breasts so as to push them up before turning her head up and away. “Oh, are you saying I don’t normally?”
Aaaaaaah! “No! I mean, yes! I mean, uh, you always make my heart s-” Abort! Abort! “Slow down? Wait, that’s not what I mean!” Luz then looked down as she realized she’d just flicked blood onto Amity when she waved her hands in front of her. “Uh… I cut myself when making breakfast.”
Amity raised an eyebrow at her crush as she screamed internally at how amazing it was to have Luz be the one freaking out for once. “Then why is your face so bloody?”
Luz’s eyes tried looking down at the blood before remembering that that wasn’t really an option. She then looked up to see Amity’s flutter her eyes again at the energetic girl. That was the last straw as Luz turned on her heel and screamed, “Eda,” before slamming the front door behind her. That wasn’t quite enough to stop Amity from being able to hear her crush continuing to scream until she was abruptly cut off by something.
Tap, tap.
Amity blinked at the noise before turning to see the broken end of a staff disappearing behind one of the trees at the edge of the trail to the Owl House. She then looked back at the Owl House before deciding her little joke was done so she shouldn’t keep Cluz waiting if she wanted to talk.
Luckily, the clone was all smiles when she found her. “So, was it everywhere you hoped for and more?”
Amity let out a small squeel of excitement before doing a spin to show off her dress. “Are you kidding? For once I got to make her lose it! Do you know how badly I’ve wanted to finally manage that?”
Cluz chuckled a little as she leaned against one of the trees. “You know, if she freaked out like you normally do, it could be for similar reasons.”
Amity didn’t notice how tense the words got towards the end or think anything of Cluz placing a hand over her chest. Instead, she turned away and giggled nervously as she said, “Oh, uh, well, you know Luz. She only freaked out because of how childish she is. This was probably the first time she thought of me as, well, sexy…”
Amity’s voice got very quiet with the last word and Cluz wanted so badly to jab back about how she always thought of the serious girl as all sorts of beautiful. Unfortunately, unlike Luz, she had to consider how creepy she’d sound with anything she said to someone who was probably close to four or five years younger than her. Giving into that though let her lower her hand from her chest. She then sighed and said, “Yeah, that’s totes the reason. Nothing else.”
Amity sucked in her lips before shaking her head furiously to try and clear it. After all, she wanted the older Luz to look at her with at least a little respect and they had one more thing to cover. “Alright. Since you were true to your word, we’re square. I’ll forget that I met you or you told me about your night time visits, this time, and you can go off and do whatever it is you have been. If I catch you again though, I will act on it.”
Cluz nodded before saying, “But if I catch you constantly staring out your window for me, I hold full right to bonk you on the head for it.”
Welp, there goes the hope for being respected by the clone. “Yes. I recognize that I can’t act if I see you sneaking across the yard since I won’t be able to help myself from remembering that you are a creep like that.”
Cluz shrugged at the insult before a high pitched voice screeched, “Yeah, but what do I get for staying quiet?”
Cluz and Amity both turned their heads to the intruder to catch Hooty right next to the serious girl’s head. Fortunately for Cluz, she didn’t need to make a deal. After all, the aging potion had the extra effect of giving Amity the magical reserves she’d have in five years too and her hate for Hooty still burned just as hot as the white fireballs she tried to destroy the damned owl with. She only stopped once he claimed her was joking and even then Amity blasted a hole in the side of Eda’s house before she left. Not because she was done trying to murder the creepy bird but more because she didn’t want to stick around for when Eda came out and saw who had wrecked her house.
