Chapter 29 vampires plan

After finishing his coffee, Max stood up heading to his room. He already instructed Jamie to help Julio and Nicholas.

And Since Jamie was completely dominated by his passive, Max didn't worry about it.

Normally under the effect of lawless aura, such a thing shouldn't happen since Jamie doesn't work for Max, however this is the real world, not a game.

Skills and abilities aren't frozen to work exactly as the description. Its effect will change under different circumstances, for example, the target's strength, personality, Max's own charisma and strength.

Over the past week, Max kept testing the limit of his passive, and he could put Jamie under the control of the 3rd effect of lawless aura, to some extent though.

Lawless aura :

3-if you show greater strength in front of individuals of the lawless faction under your command, they cannot rase any thoughts of opposition or betrayer towards you.

'Such a powerful skill, yet I don't know how to squeeze it in my plans'.

Max kept thinking about how to best make use of his skill since he realized he had it, however he never planned on starting a force or taking control of one.

"Sigh, whatever. It might be useful in the future."

….

While walking to his cabin, Max suddenly stopped. He felt something.

Looking at the closed door of his cabin, Max squinted his eyes. Such random feelings must be from his passive, although this time the feeling is faint.

It wasn't a feeling of maliciousness, but rather of irritation or something similar.

Max just turned around, going back, planning on spending the day with Jamie.

He didn't care about who snuck into his cabin or about his purpose.

Such a stalker-like way of approaching people already gave him a bad impression about the person inside.

The creep can wait there all day long, anyway other than the laptop, there is nothing of value inside, and it's not like he records his secrets on it.

although Max felt like he forgot something inside, going through his belongings in his mind, he came to the conclusion that nothing valuable should be left there.

"uncivilized bastard," grumbled Max.

Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

....

Inside Max's cabin, Beatrice, the vampire princess, sat on the bed like she owns the place.

"why is that guy taking so long?", Since morning, she had skipped breakfast to secretly enter the cabin. Even though she didn't enjoy human food, she ate it as an excuse to remain in the restaurant and observe the new passengers. So skipping breakfast is actually a welcome change, however waiting this long has made her annoyed.

Suddenly, her phone rang.

Ring. Ring. Ring.

Picking up, she spoke first. "stop calling me so frequently. I am doing my best. I can't be more suspicious than already am, but for some reason they didn't find me".

"Sigh. Beatrice, I can't hold the cops much longer. Four more days is all I can get you. News about vampire cosplay or vampire on the train is already on the web. "

"but, what if they don't show up?"

"then escape and hide for now."

Beatrice clenched her fists in anger, but the man on the other side didn't stop talking.

"you know how weak your case is. If you go right now saying that some humans have betrayed humanity cooperating with vampires and you, the vampire princess, betrayed vampires to help the humans.

Without evidence. Who do you think will believe that?".

"Sigh, alright, I will call you later." Peep.

Before the man could speak anymore, she hung up, not wanting to hear more depressing news.

A year ago, she escaped home, and from that point onwards, her life became much harder.

Originally, she found out that some humans and her father, together with some unknown race, started cooperating for something big.

They plan to take down one of the three continents.

Her conscience wouldn't let such a thing happen, so she escaped, planning to change the inevitable.

Later she made friends who believes in her and help her, yet it wasn't enough to prove such a thing, they needed solid evidence, and to get it she used herself as a bait to attract the traitorous humans, as long as they catch one and extract his memories, everything will work out.

"Sigh."

Suddenly Beatrice felt her blood boiling, moving on its own. As a figure made of red light started forming in front of her.
