Max was sleeping deeply, his body relaxed in the emerald water of the stone bath Lucy had created.
The mountain house was quiet, the only sound the faint hum of Lucy's telekinetic work echoing through the walls.
Suddenly, the ground beneath him shook violently. Max's eyes snapped open just as the stone bath collapsed, sending him tumbling into a dark tunnel below.
"What the... ?!" Max shouted, his wings flaring instinctively as he flew out of the hole and into the sky.
Under the bright sunlight, Max hovered in the air, his eyes widening as he took in the sight below.
The mountain was riddled with holes, its once lush vegetation now withered and dead, as if all its energy and nutrients had been drained.
At the base of the mountain, rows of special containers stood neatly arranged, their surfaces gleaming faintly.
Max's jaw dropped as he realized what had happened.
"Lucy," he muttered, his voice a mix of awe and exasperation. "You really went all out, huh?"
'yes! I am faster now!'.
"I can see that..". spoke Max as he landed near the containers, his eyes scanning the area. The sheer number of containers was staggering, far more than he had expected.
He crouched down to examine one of them. The design was intricate, with three compartments labeled for gunpowder, liquid oxygen, and liquid hydrogen. The compartments were arranged in a formation designed to intensify the explosion, a testament to Lucy's growing skill with Kraxtal Weaving, and forging overall.
At the very least, she didn't need Max to make her a blueprint of such a simple thing and she made it by herself.
"But the speed? ..."
.
Max's mind raced as he pieced together what had happened. Previously, Lucy had relied solely on her innate ability, [Mountain Ruler] , for her production. It was a slow process, limited by her innate's natural slow speed. But now, with telekinesis, she could work on a much larger scale, combining her innate ability with precise control over larger objects.

"No wonder the mountain's drained," Max muttered, shaking his head. "She's been using telekinesis non-stop, supplementing it with the mountain's energy and nutrients. I underestimated her efficiency."
Lucy never had the chance to use her telekinesis in production, and Max simply failed to notice it's impact.
Max reached out to Lucy mentally, "Lu, you've outdone yourself. These containers are perfect. But you've drained the mountain dry. Any more, and it might harm your spirit. Let's switch mountains and continue there."
Lucy's cheerful voice echoed in his mind. 'Okay! I stop now. But I do even more at the next one'
Max chuckled. "I don't doubt it. But let's pace ourselves, alright?"
'OK'.
"Come out now Lu, we gotta move"
Lucy appeared In front of him and he simply pulled her into the pet space, as he stored all the containers.
After that Max asked the AI for the closest mountain-range, considering their destination toward the rainbow stone mine. The AI quickly provided the coordinates, and Max flew toward the new location, his injuries now fully healed.
.....
Not long later He landed on the new mountain, its peak towering above the surrounding landscape. Lucy emerged from the pet space, her green light pulsing with excitement as she began merging with the mountain.
"Take your time, Lu," Max said, knowing it would take her 30 minutes to an hour to fully take control.
.....
Soon enough Lucy took full control and started with her tasks.
While she worked, Max released the crows from the pet space. They flew off immediately, and Max simply ignored them as he turned his attention to the new mountain house Lucy had created. It was similar to the last one, simple but comfortable.
He organized his belongings quickly,And With everything in order, Max sat down, ready to relax and browse the simulator's articles.
His mind turned to the witches of Valenorth. Lucy had encountered them indirectly through the simulation, but he still didn't know much about them.
He wanted to understand them to better place his pets inside the simulation and make plans for them, and also to see if he can gain anything from those witches.
He opened the simulator's knowledge database, scrolling through articles about witches. The term was too broad, it could refer to a magic profession for humans, a non-human creature, or something akin to warlocks focused on blood magic, or even just a nickname for female mages.
Max spent hours reading, but the information was scattered and inconclusive. Frustrated, he leaned back, rubbing his temples.
"This is pointless," he muttered, closing the simulator's screen. "I'll figure it out when I get more information about them."
All he had about them was the fact that they appeared out of no where suddenly, that's if he can trust the history Lucy collected from the gossip of passerbys.
There's also the fact that they can Target and damage Spirits easily, but it wasn't much.
Max simply pushed the matter to the side and focused on more important issues. Who's going to simulate next.
"..... Lucy is a gamble so forget about it for now..."
Max scratched his chin in contemplation. " guess Louh and mok are the best option, one for pure stats and the other for telekinesis."
There were other skills that would offer some benefits if trained to a higher proficiency, but telekinesis offers a more Direct power up.
