Max leaned back in his chair, his super phone glowing faintly in his hand. The screen displayed a holographic interface, lines of code scrolling rapidly as the AI worked its magic.
[Hacking local networks... accessing cameras...] the AI's voice chimed, calm and robotic.
Max watched as the AI infiltrated the city's surveillance systems, pulling up live feeds from security cameras, traffic monitors, and even private networks.
[Process finished. Would you like to view?] the AI asked.
"Yes," Max said, his voice low.
The screen shifted, displaying a series of video feeds. Max's eyes narrowed as he scanned the footage.
The Atyai estate was a fortress, its high walls and guarded gates making it nearly impenetrable. He zoomed in on the main building, a grand structure with ornate architecture and sprawling gardens.
"Interesting," Max muttered. "They've got more security than a national bank."
He leaned closer, his mind racing. The Atyai family was clearly paranoid, their wealth and secrets guarded by layers of protection.
Max spent the next few hours analyzing the data, his mind working overtime to formulate a plan.
Max was and unreasonable vengeful person, and he wanted to clear this family to the lastest member, simply out of disgust.
The Atyai family was powerful, but they had weaknesses, everyone did. He just needed to find the right pressure point.
One good news were the fact that they didn't have anyone above the C-rank, and they couldn't hire anyone of such caliber due to their past, which made them less threatening.
However he had to be careful because their secrecy and I'll unexplainable wealth were suspicious.
Max's initial idea was either snipe the entire family with his shotgun & world of mirrors combo, or to bait them to The mountain in the city's center, and have Lucy handle them.
His old trick ' kidnapping' should work just fine here; Kidnappe some Geniuses and ask for ransom with the meeting place being the mountain.
Still it was just an idea for now, and Max will only finalize his plan, after reading the information in front of him then doing some scouting personally.
As he kept reading, Max, found out about a certain old temple up the mountain in city Center.

Apparently the family would go there regularly to make donations, and pray for good luck every time they went through any kind of trouble.
"huh? Suspicious... But could prove useful..."
.....
For now, he decided to enjoy the rest of the day. He brewed himself a cup of coffee, the rich aroma filling the room, and settled down with a some slight reading.
Later, he prepared a simple meal, savoring the flavors as he ate in silence. By nightfall, he was asleep, his mind calm and focused.
....
Max woke early, the first rays of sunlight streaming through the cave's windows. He stretched, feeling refreshed and ready for the day ahead.
After a quick breakfast, he grabbed his super phone, sealed the pigeon and the bonsai, with his pets already inside the pet space, and flew up heading toward Easand City.
...
The city wasn't far from the lake, and Max arrived after 30 min.
He blended in with the crowd, his wings and golden eyes making him distinguishable from the other pedestrians, however it wasn't a rare sight in this world, and people simply took him for a passing powerhouse.
As he walked, he observed his surroundings, taking mental notes of the city's layout just in case.
The Atyai estate loomed in the distance, its imposing presence a reminder of the family's power.
Max kept his distance, not wanting to draw attention. Instead, he focused on gathering information, using Mystic eye in different ways; throwing pebbles, falling leaves....MAX even located a member of the family using his phone, and after finding him inside a coffee shop, he left a mark on his clothes discreetly.
...
By midday, Max had enough information of the estate layout, and had his two marks of Mystic eye deep within the estate, although they were out of his range since the estate wasn't small, so he decided it was about time attempt a more direct approach.
He found a quiet alleyway, hidden from prying eyes, and activated his skill: [World of Mirrors].
Max stepped into the mirror world, his reflection disappearing as he became one with the glass.
Inside the mirror world, the mirrors inside the estate came into view, and Max paused, observing the scene.
The estate's interior was just as grand as he expected, with luxurious furnishings and priceless artifacts on display. He focused on the mirrors inside the Treasure House, his eyes narrowing as he studied the layout.
But something was wrong!.
Max reached out, his hand pressing against the mirror's surface. Normally, he would have been able to step through, entering the real world on the other side. But this time, the mirror resisted, its surface solid and unyielding.
"Space restriction? Or something similar! ," Max muttered, his voice tinged with frustration. "They've warded the entire estate."
He tried again, focusing his energy, but the result was the same. The mirrors were locked, their connection to the real world severed by some kind of spatial barrier.
Max stepped back, his mind racing. Somehow this declining family had access to such advanced protective measures.
"This complicates things," Max said, a small smile playing on his lips. "But it also makes it more interesting. But seriously what are they hiding? Could it be they're also working with dungeon races?... "
Max shrugged and simply ignored the idea because it didn't really matter, although if he could find prove, than this entire charade would be simpler, as he only needed to leak the evidence, and they would be executed next morning.
" shame this bunch seems too cautious. "
Next Max used Mystic eye, since thanks to [world of mirrors] the marks was considered within range, still he didn't find much.
.....
Max retreated from the mirror world, returning to the quiet alleyway. He glanced at the Atyai estate one last time, his expression calm.
"Guess we'd go with the bait then.. "
With that, he turned and walked away, disappearing into the bustling streets of Easand City.
