Max headed to one of Phantom Titan's associated shops. Conveniently enough, it was not a small shop, and although not their best, it's a shop with a considerable reputation.

Shady organizations like Phantom Titan always liked to muddle in chaotic places like Kain-city, so it wasn't a big surprise.

Max walked slowly, glancing here and there from time to time.

Last time he was in this city kept walking like a street rat, but now everyone act like a street rat when he sees him.

Max sneered and hastened his pase. He had a simulation to do, so he wanted to get over with shopping as quickly as possible.

Soon Max arrived at a majestic tall building. He didn't stand on ceremony and walked inside directly.

Max glanced around the shop, noticing only a smattering of common goods on display.

The first floor should be for non card holders, although the quality of goods wasn't bad at all, from green grade skills and D-rank equipment to other useful miscellaneous items.

Max drew the eyes of the random customers inside, but they quickly looked away, intimidated by his imposing presence.

Max walked to the second floor. Before he could go up the elevator, a small ball shaped drone flew to him.

" unidentified.. unidentified.. Please provide your membership card in order to proceed. "

Max looked at the drone curiously. This thing had no wings or anything to propel it.

Still, Max lost interest quickly and showed the card in his hand.

"peep! All in order, please proceed."

Up on the second floor, Max walked around. The place was quite organized and well decorated.

Max walked to the equipment sector first. Only two customers were browsing around here, each accompanied by a staff worker in a black and brown uniform.

And just as he was about to start looking around, a young woman in the same black and brown uniform approached him with a smile.

"Hello sir, please allow me to accompany you on your shopping today. "

"huh? Why?".

The young worker didn't show any displeasure as she responded quarterly.

"It's the policy here, but if you like to browse freely, I can stand by and you find me when you're ready to purchase.

Also, please pick one of those iPads. It contains all the information on the available wears.

As Max dismissed the worker, she left without much nonsense and he walked around, looking at the equipment around while holding the iPad.

Equipment like Max's hammer [cold blood] are very rare in the sense that they didn't have much requirements to use.

A normal B-rank sword will require B-rank strength or some other attribute, only the most expensive equipments doesn't have much requirements and can be used by people who are lower in rank than the equipment.

Moreover, B-rank equipment starting price is at the 5m, and Max didn't had much more important things to buy.

As Max was starting to get bored and wanted to start shopping for real, he noticed a pair of twin pistol.

The two pistols had some blood on them, although it somehow seemed like the blood was part of them.

The handle had some interesting Engravings in red and gold.

Max picked them up, feeling the textures of the twins.

Feeling the heavy weight and looking at the information, Max smirked.

"you two will be going with me."

The receptionist from earlier walked to Max, her mouth wide open.

Just know she was waiting for Max to embarrass himself.

Because not all equipment has normal use requirement, and some will even erupt in backlash when someone that doesn't meet the criteria holds them.

These twin pistols were of that kind, and the requirements were something that made her be more careful around Max, throwing all playful thoughts out of her head.

Anyway, a mere receptionist shouldn't've had the thought mess with someone that obviously looks like a Powerhouse in the first place.

"than bring me a cup of coffee." spoke Max as he headed to the balcony and sat on one of the chairs placed there as he rechecked the information of the twin pistols, while the receptionist left and the other customers watched coldly.

This situation was just too normal. In fact, one can say that Max was being quite nice and reasonable with that normal human.

Being able to weald supernatural powers made them separate themselves for normal human on a mental level, thinking of them as mere tools most of the time.

This was the norm, but Max didn't care about all that as he read carefully.

He took out the IPad and started shopping for real this time.
