"That's why I decided to not fight alongside you anymore, he just brought bad luck to those around him," Kotetsu kept on rambling, while my other teammates were unable to move a muscle.
Maybe he's right... I'm just a bad omen for everyone... it's better if I just disappear----
"And do you know what the worst part is? You do not care about us... you keep on fighting without actually taking into account that this is YOUR undoing!!" Kotetsu swung one of his wings to create a strong gust towards me.
I felt a surge of power from an unknown origin at the same time with the desperation to prove myself, I felt my ring was minutely cracked, and something went inside my head faster than my own thought... my blood started boiling and my head felt the heat.
"Do you realize now that you are the one everyone should be hunting? And what about your family? They are just a pathetic clan from god-knows-when, bringing a curse to the whole country..." the breeze around us were getting stronger and stronger. Kotetsu's eyes were widened as adrenaline also surged inside him.
"Your family could be the worst thing that have happened on this land, Kyuuto. How can you be proud of that?--"
"----Take that back..." I felt the surge of even more power through my veins. Cold breeze started to surround us. I felt like my heart's going to burst from the insane rage that I've built up. Without me even realizing, I posed differently than normal, drew my Zodiac sword... with the intent of killing for the first time.
"---You can disgrace me however you want... but if you keep on berating my family much longer---"
"Then what?---" Kotetsu, still being overbearing, "---wha?!"

FROM NOW ON THE STORY WILL UNFOLD IN THIRD PERSON PERSPECTIVE
Kyuuto teleported from his current position behind his old comrade, slashing his sword, damaging Kotetsu's right wing. Kotetsu grunted, then adjusted his position, preparing for the duel, "Shit!!--" he dodged all of Kyuuto's attacks successfully. But struggled to find his balance again. Kotetsu then punched his crazed opponent, then kicked him with his sharp talons. He followed up with more punches and kicks in mid-air. Yato was fired up and about to step into the duel, but as he moved his feet, Kentarou held him by his shoulder, warning him to stay away for now.
Kyuuto was hopeless for a while, unable to land even one slash after the initial attack. His ring started to glow more and more, an unknown power came to him gradually. Their duel was corroborated by a group of hunters flooding the scene, but only attacking Kentarou and others. But Kotetsu kept on attacking mercilessly, while Kyuuto fell multiple times to the ground, bleeding over and over again, but he kept on fighting.
The winged beast approached Kyuuto who struggled to even stand on his feet, holding onto his bleeding mouth. He then focused some kind of dark energy onto one of his claws, and aiming Kyuuto's head, "This is how your story will end, Kyuuto,"
"STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!" from the south, Rin suddenly came with her charged up auric, she then tried to punch Kotetsu multiple times, only for him to defend himself with his own arms undamaged.
"This is interesting," he commented, then kicked Rin until she hit a wall, cracking it. "Since when did you get along with him?" he approached the girl while Kyuuto watched hopelessly.
"N-no... stop---" Kyuuto kept on trying to stand up, but failed.
Rin fell into the ground, only for Kotetsu to grasp her by the neck, strangling her.
"You see this? This--- is what you've brought to your 'family', Kyuuto... only suffering, pain, and sadness..." he increased his power on his grip. Rin was suffocating heavily, "perhaps this... is what I must do to regain myself..."
Not letting Rin go easily, Kotetsu threw her to the other side, injuring her even more. Kyuuto's blood was boiling, his ring was pulsating with inexplicable light from its crack. Dark aura began to surround him as he finally got a grip on his legs to stand up. He has lost control over himself.
