as i began to walk out of the elder's house she said "Orion I need to talk to you alone" panic filled my entire body "what about" I gulped down my spit hard, she then waited for Lyra to leave, and Lyra left in quite the hurry and then the elder said "Go on and sit down" she motioned to a chair in the corner, and so i sat down and then said "So why did you need to talk to me?" she crossed her hands and then said "I know what you are" i looked at her confused "what do you mean?" she frowned "i know that you've awakened some magical abilities" i set my head onto my knuckles "SO what will you choose to do then" she sighed "ill keep your secret until your 13" I looked up at her and said "thank you, but why that age" she frowned "Age of my son when he was murdered" I then said "Im sorry for your loss" she looked up at the ceiling and then said "ok well you should get going" I nodded and got up and left without saying anything else to her, and when i whent outside i heard people screaming and yelling about an avalanche i looked up to the mountain and saw a tale move as two behemoths were fighting and the outcome of that had led to a tiny avalanche falling to where our little town was.

the snow slammed into the concrete walls of the town but the walls stood but that still didn't stop the snow from coming over the walls, it destroyed entire houses thankfully i was far from the walls at that point since my house was close to the center of the town, i walked to my house and went to bed without eating.

6 months later

I sat next to Lyra outside of the walls "So what do you think of the outside world" she responded with "Its interesting" i looked over at the giant lush forest "wonder what beasts live in there" i pointed to the forest we then saw a tiny little rabbit hop around until it spotted us and began to hop over to us "seems pretty friendly looking" Lyra shook her head "doubt it is a friendly creature" i stood up and said "then this is as great as any for me to try to learn more about my magic" i held my hand forward and braced it slightly and concentrated on trying to create a ball of air again, and for a few seconds nothing happened but slowly a tiny ball began to form and then it began to grow faster and faster until eventually, my tiny hand couldn't hold it anymore and it flew towards the rabbit but it missed and caused the ground to explode upwards where it struck, i was angered by this and the mana just flowed out of me and formed a ball of fire that hit the bunny lighting it ablaze and killing it, I looked over at Lyra and said "So how does mana and magic work anyway?" she thought for a second "well as far as my parents have said someone has to learn or make spells or they can be triggered by emotions" I nodded and then sat next to her again "I truly don't know how I would help you learn to use magic when I barely know how to use it myself" she frowned and nodded "well we should get back before people notice we are missing" I nodded and got up and began to walk back to the crack in the wall, when we got back in we went separate ways for the rest of the day.
