i got up from the floor my neck in great pain, I rubbed at my neck and I guess I must've woken Ezra because he said "what are you not yet used to uncomfortable sleeping arrangements" I nodded and then winced in pain but nonetheless, I continued to pack my stuff again "So Ezra do you know how t-" he cut me off "Im not going to teach you how to awaken your mana core yet, we must wait till latter" I looked down and then said "Thats not what I was going to say at all, what I was going to say was, do you know where I'm even going" he nodded "or at least I have an idea of it, and it seems to be a pretty decent plan considering your age" I nodded and was about to wake Lyra up but she said "Im already awake" I smiled and walked away and threw my bag around my back and then waited for Lyra to finish getting her stuff, "Anway we should get going" Ezra nodded and we headed out, and we had to move through the city which took about an hour and when we finally got onto the road we were all tired from the hot city so we took our time on moving through the windy area on the highway, this helped to cool us down slightly but we still had to stay alert and the wind didn't help with hearing thankfully with Ezra near us the monsters didn't seem to want to get near us.

we stopped near an old and rundown gas station that's ceiling had collapsed long ago but that created the perfect cave area, but that's where our luck stoped because when we entered the room a bunch of giant spiders were living in there and had even carved out an area to live in, so the gas station had a cave bellow it, Ezra was about to launch a fireball into it but I said "We cant destroy this place we could use it for tonight since the sun is already setting" Ezra sighed and stoped the fireballs formation "well what do you want us to do then Orion" I sighed "well you have a dagger and we have weapons, so we go in there and kill the spiders" he sighed and then nodded and said "HEY STUPID SPIDERS COME AND GET ME" he rushed forward and stabbed one under its jaw and kicked another away, I moved forward and killed the stunned spider, we moved into the actual cove area and the spiders retreated down into the cave, I looked over to Ezra and said "should we keep going or try to stop them from coming up" Ezra sighed and said "if we don't kill them now they will come back up latter and kill us" I nodded and we moved down I then said "Lyra make sure that none come around if they have another exit" she nodded and me and Ezra moved down into the dark cave, there was strange moss on the wall that gave off light so we weren't completely blind but we still couldn't see completely and there were some blind spots, but we moved forward and heard the piter patter of spiders moving, I looked around and found some skeletons of people one held what looked to be a gun, I picked it up but it was too rusted to function the other one held a steel blade so I picked it up and it also was rusted but it was still useable, we heard a screch of the spiders and a hoard of them moved towards us, Ezra had his palm facing them and he had his other hand bracing his arm and he then began to charch up a strange purpal beam, he then said "Hold them off while I charge this" I nodded and Ezra threw me his weapon I caught it and began to kill the spiders and then I heard Ezra scream "MOVE" I jumped to the side and I saw a giant beam of purple rush past me and then a boom that left my ears ringing for minutes so I didn't hear Ezra talking, until he tried to pick me up but I weighed too much, so he left me and ran out of the cave and then I felt a large creature walking, and then I heard another deffaning screach but it didn't leave my ears ringing "Damn Basstard" I felt a rush of betrayl and then adrenaline and then I tried to summon a fireball but something else happened as a ball of pure white began to form in my hands and then I condensed into a much smaller ball and then I fired but the attack just flew off of the spiders armor, I began to scramble backwards and then one of the heavenly arored spiders legs pierced my leg leaving it in there as it brought its head down to begin to eat me and it ate my leg, I was screaming out in pain as it tore my leg off, I passed out and then everything was white.

"Hello" god sat exactly where he had sat last time I met him, I looked down at my body and it was my old body "So I guess I'm dead" god merely shook his head and said "come sit down" he patted the chair next to him and so I walked over and sat "why am I here" he then said "ill explain it all in the upcoming moments, but just enjoy the show" he motioned to the TV "Ill give you another chance but if you are in a near-death situation again I cant help unless the circumstances are extremely specific" I nodded "and what do you plan to do with me?" he pointed to the TV "well first ill start by giving you your gift early, but I wont explain anything it should explain itself literally, and second the spider your fighting will die by your own hands, I wont kill it" I nodded again and said "Ok and how do you plan to get my leg back" he smiled "its all part of the gift" I nodded "then I'm ready" he smiled and set his hand on my shoulder and I felt an extreme burning sensation course throught my body I was screaming and then I was back into my own body standing next to the giant spider.
