I was awakened by the sun shining through the window, I rubbed my neck expecting it to hurt but it didn't "huh I guess they really do have good pillows" I stood up and slid open the door and Kaito was sitting at a low table " I see you finally woke up" I nodded "what time is it?" Kaito stood up and looked outside "Near midday" I leaned on a nearby pillar and said "so what are the chances I get to stay here for long?" He shrugged " it depends on what you bring to the village" I looked down " well I can hunt and I know a few trap set ups" he looked out the window " we have enough hunters, so is there anything else your could bring to the village" I sighed and then said " well I could establish a trade between you and the awakend people or just humans or possibly elves" he looked over at me " ok that is something that could be helpful to the village since we lack specific materials that may be wanted" I nodded " well then I could pitch this idea to your elders" he replied with " first we don't have a council and second you'll need to get a council member on board, but that's where I can help, since I'm the scout party leader I can go to council meetings and pitch ideas on occasion" I nodded and then said " well what materials does this village really need?" He thought for a little bit and then said " well we need better walls and weapons, and I've heard that humans used to make some of the best weapons out of the beasts and I've even heard that they can make magical steel weapons" I shrugged " I didn't live in the bigger villages, I lived in a kinda small one" he nodded " understandable, what made you leave?" I then sarcastically said " oh you know the sense of great adventure" he chuckled and then said " but seriously what Made you leave" I sat down next to the pillar " I was banished for being awakend" he looked confused " why would they get rid of an awakend if they didn't do anything wrong" I sighed " there elder was from the golden age and had an extreme biase against awakend people believing them to have been around back then" he frowned " that seems like a stupid reason, why should they punish you for something you couldn't control" I shrugged and said " that's just human for you" we sat in silence for awhile before Kaito said " I need to go and get my hunting party ready for tomorrow" I nodded and he left, and I sat there looking at the purple screens of the system when i noticed that I had a quest, it was called the daily quest.

I clicked the daily quest and the same robotic voice that sounded semi male 'You have activated the daily quest function, you must complete the quest given every day or a fitting punishment will be given, but you will also be rewarded accordingly to the quest's difficulty, please select the difficulty of todays quest' four little stones appeared floating in front of me, one was crimson which was on the far right then right next to it was a purple crystal then a blue and then a clear crystal, I wonder which one of these is easy?, I just picked up the clear crystal and then the robotic voice said ' very hard difficulty has been chosen' who made this system and why would they make the clear crystal the most difficult, and then a new text box appeared in the quest.
