I switched through a bunch of the channels on the Tv, and i stoped on the news channel and watched it until they got to the news in this area, i sat there slightly stunned since a gate had opened despite the fact i wasnt killed "YOU FUCKING LIER" i then heard a system ping and then it started talking but it was in gods voice [ "So that wasnt meant to happen, ill temporarly reactivate the system so you can try to stop the beasts"] i groaned and got up "Not even in the past can i chil out" i striped and changed into some more street wear cloths, so some jeans and A red hoodie, i fliped the hoodie up and then walked out of the front door, i felt the strange presence of the beasts, as i stepped out of the elevator i heard the screams of people and saw smoke, "Geez is this what had happened when i died" thankfully no one had heard me say that in all of the chaos, i saw what i assumed to be goblins since they were among some of the weakest Beasts that had first come.

One of them noticed me and rushed towards me, i pulled out my dagger from the pocket withing my jacket and stabbed it in the head, my guess was that it had gotten too cocky and assumed no one could hurt it, but soon all of these beasts would notice that they could infact be killed by me.

The other Goblins noticed that one of their friends had died and they rushed towards me, the system pinged again [Fully active, welcome back Orion Rivers] i was confused since i handt realy whent anywhere of my own choice, mana ran through my body, the Small Goblins had surrounded me and were trying to bite me or stab me but my mana reinforced by was too strong to bite through, i tried to stab them but one of the goblins grabbed my arm that held my dagger and the rest of the goblins followed suit and grabbed my other limbs, i began to panic as i felt my limbs being pulled apart, and then i felt the electricity running through my body looking for an escape, i let the electricity escape my body, a gigantic amount of electricity leave my body and the Goblins were stuned and i took immediate action as adrenaline ran through my body i then heard a ping but didnt look at it since the goblins could get back up at any second, is tabbed the first one in the head and stomped another while punching another to the ground, and the one behind me was sitting there in fear from what it just saw, and for a second i felt bad but then remembered that this very goblin had just tried to kill me, i walked towards it as mana swirled around me and it tried to get up and run but i grabbed it by its neck and threw it to the ground and cleaned off my knife and then began to punch the goblin until it had stoped breathing, people had taken notice that someone was killing the goblns, they held their phones and were recording, i got up and looked at the system ping [congradulation on Sythensising of Volt Responce] i was confused since i hadnt done anything, 'Maybe it was that giant field of electricity' i shrugged and ran away from that area to try and find the gate, eventually i felt the pulse of mana i immediately began to run towards it, a chill ran down my spine as i saw giant creatures that looked similar to the Gobblin, in all of the storys i had heard i had never heard of a giant goblin, it held what looked to be a tree, it had already killed everyone around, but it didnt seem to want to leave the Gates proximity, it noticed me and it began to slowly move over to me and brought its Club up over its head and swung down, i dodged out of the way and heard the crunch of concrete next to me, i quickly ran towards it but stoped because i saw its foot shift slightly, i backed away and observed the Giant goblin as it picked up its tree and continued to walk towards me, i then heard the repeated shots of a fully automatic gun, the giant goblin looked behind itself at the man who held the full auto gun, and it began to slowly walk over to him since bullets didnt do anything to the Creatures of the gates but of course they didnt know that, i silently got close to the giant goblin again and cut its ankle and exactly as i thought it fell to the ground and i quickly tried to stab its head but it was protecting its head with its hands, so i began to stab around near its important internal organs, it began to cry out in pain at the inserution of my blade, "THIS IS HOW ALL OF THOSE HUMANS YOU KILLED FELT!" instead of granting this creature a quick death i was going to let it suffer the painful death of bleeding out, i walked back down to its legs and cut its other achilles tendon.

I saw as the gate began to close on itself and i quickly left the area, i looked at my hoodie and saw that there were tons of cuts and tears within it, but i hadn't taken any real damage, i quickly ran home and many people were staring at me with their phones out, i removed the red hoodie in a random alley and continued on my way home to relax, i eventually got to my door and hurriedly opened it and immediately changed out of the cloths i was wearing and threw them away "I wonder if ill be considered a hero" i chuckled at the thought and continued to change out of the cloths, and when i finished i sat on my couch and turned on the TV and it was still on the news channel, i then heard someone clapping next to me "Well done Orion or would you prefer John" i shrugged "dosent matter to me" he chuckled "Well do you see why i brought you back, its to try to give you humans a true chance to fight back" i sighed "and how would be killing a few goblins do that" he stood up and pointed to the TV "well first off mana is now in this world and will rapidly make more of itself and there are more humans alive, do you know how many died last time when this gate opend" i didnt know so i took a guess "Hundreds of thousands" he shook his head "MIllions" i sat there shocked, my mouth had opened without me noting "So youve just saved a few million" the TV then Loudly said "There has been some new news about the Strange portal that appeared in New York Today, we have some video proof of an unknow man taking down these strange creatures" the news man took a break to let the video play out, and it was me fighting the giant Goblin and it also showed how bullets did nothing to it "If you have any Information on this man please come forward and use this numb–" i had turned it off "So how do i return to the future" god nodded and then he snapped, and i felt a strange sensation
