I got up and nearly fell out of a tree I guessed I had climbed while sleeping "Wonder if underaged drinking is still a thing" I then began to climb out of the tree and of course I slipped and fell, scraping my arms on the way down, I then began to walk to Kaitos house when an old man said "Thank you" I looked around and didn't see anyone else so I said "For what?" he stood up and said "During the raid yesterday, you saved my daughter" I thought about it and I did remember saving a women "Your welcome I guess" I began to walk away when the man said "Dont you want payment" I looked back "I don't have much money but I can teach you some techniques" I walked over to the old man and said "Would these techniques happen to be magical?" he nodded " its better for hunting" I crouched down and said "what exactly is this technique" he looked up at me "we call it silent step" I nodded "so where do we begin then?" he stood up and said "well first you need a mana core, and with how long you fought for yesterday I'm guessing you already have an endurance boosting technique " I shook my head "don't believe I have either of those currently" and the old man looked shocked "come over here" I walked closer and he placed his hand on my stomach and then he said "interesting, its slightly formed but not fully" I then responded with "So how do I fully form my mana core?" he walked back to his chair "ill bring you to the consecrated mana zone" I was confused but followed him and he brought me to a small clearing in the woods and I saw Rei waiting at the front desk "oh hello Rei" she smiled and waved and then said "What brings you here" she was looking at the old man "well I'm going to train this young man how to use Silent step and maybe a few other techniques" she clapped "So what did you do to gain the recognition of the sword master" i looked at him and was confused "he's the sword master" she nodded and then the old man said "you know I'm standing right here" I chuckled slightly and then said "well you still don't know my name do you" he shook his head "your name is known by most of the villagers especially since you killed so many raiders yesterday" I shrugged "I'm still trying to earn my stay at this village, since the village seems to accept the awakend" he nodded "I don't understand why you humans do that to some of your greatest warriors" I shrugged "its out of fear of what they cant ever have I guess" he chuckled slightly and continued to walk "well talk to you later Rei" she nodded and I followed the sword master and there was a tiny highly decorated circular room and he walked into it and then he said "we are next to a Mana vein" I nodded and said "I still don't know how to complete the Mana Core yet" he turned around and said "just follow my instructions" I nodded and then he said "so its alot like meditating, because you need to focus on completing it, and only that so try and find a slight peace" I nodded and followed exactly what he said, and I felt strange partials moving through my body and then I felt exausted and then I felt someone shaking me, I opened my eyes and suddenly i was back in the room Kaito had let me use "how'd I end up here" the sword master was the one who was shaking me and he said "Ive never seen someone fully awaken like that" I was still confused "yes but how did I end up in this room?" the sword master stood up and then said "lets have some tea, and I'll tell you everything" he got me a cup of tea and said "so you had meditated for a few hours and then suddenly you were gone, so I looked around the area for you but I didn't find you so I searched most of the streets in the village and eventually I found Rei and asked her if she knew where you stayed and well you some what know it from there" I nodded and said "So what exactly happened" he responded with "you seem to have control of space" I was confused "but in all of the books I've read about awakend people it never mentions a space element" he chuckled "humans are very simple-minded aren't they, anything could be an element" I slipped at the tea "so how exactly would I train that?" he shrugged "well we will need to find an elemental master of it first, so they can teach you how to properly utilize it" I nodded and then said "so can I still learn the technique you wanted to teach me" he chuckled and nodded "yes, yes you can since it just uses base mana" he then said "well I should get going, since its pretty late" he left and I still felt exhausted and tired so I went to my room and layed down on the sleeping mat, and I drifted off slightly when I heard the door open and I sat up, and Rei was standing there "I'm sorry if I woke you up" I shook my head "it fine, but what did you need?" she took a step forward "well tonight some of the flowers are blooming and its considered good luck to see them bloom, especially if you pick one and it still blooms" I got up and put on a shirt, Rei hadn't seen that I hadnt had a shirt on until I stood up so she turned around "Sorry should have warned you" she turned back around, her entire face was red and shook her head "N-No its Fine" she quickly left the room and I followed, Rei was acting strange, maybe it was something to do with their culture, we walked out into the garden and which was at the center of the giant house and Kaito was already there "How are you Kaito" he put his arm on my shoulder "Man I heard what happened today, and all I've got to say is that you are one strong man" I looked at him my head tilted slightly "what do you mean?" he lifted his arm "well you killed many of the raiders and that was all without the use of Mana, all just pure physical strength and endurance" I nodded "Thank I guess" he then pointed forward "they should bloom at any moment, I've already picked mine, why don't you both go pick one" I nodded and followed what Rei did and then they began to bloom.
