Cain left the sect and headed straight for the Teratop Volcanoes. This was quite the savage spot and was filled with high class monsters, hence most people would avoid this area. Yet for people with strength, this is a gold mine, many different materials that could be collected. The old saying was true ‘With danger came profit.’ Cain wasn’t here for profit though, he just wanted to kill that Flying Magma Bear and leave as soon as possible. Luckily Flying Magma Bears were extremely territorial, and didn’t band together in groups. As long as he found one he wouldn’t have to be worried with dealing with a whole mob of them
The area around the Teratop Volcanoes was extremely dry and ashy. The dirt had long turned black like coal, and the heat was intense. This zone was filled with many volcanoes, from small to large. Bugs were buzzing across the sky, these were Magma Mosquitoes, but they were quite weak so Cain only needed a single slash of his spear to destroy the entire group. However their numbers seemed endless, when one group died, another came. Cain was fed up with this but suddenly the mosquitoes dispersed and left him alone.
Naturally he didn’t think that they just decided to leave him alone out of their own goodwill. Animals act on instinct, and seeing them leave was a good and bad sign. It meant he had walked into a strong beasts territory, the mosquitoes knew this and hence flew away with their stingers between their legs. Hopefully this was the Flying Magma Bear so Cain wouldn’t have to waste any more of his time in this heat hole.
A small volcano was located ahead of Cain, he slowly scaled to the top and looked down. At the bottom of this volcano was a massive bear with two large wings attached to its back. It was sleeping soundly but each snore was like a clap of thunder, ringing in Cain’s ears. Cain tried his best to hide his presence, but this wasn’t something he specialized in, noticing the bear seemed irritated, like it was about to wake up, he quickly changed his form. His body changed into that of a young man, with a black cloak covering his entire body, he became Cyprise. The bear that was close to waking up, relaxed again, falling back to sleep.
Cain suddenly realized that these forms didn’t only boost one of his three stats tremendously, they also gave him extra benefits. Like how Cyprise’s form would better hide his presence, making his skill in sneaking far better than usual. The other forms probably had similar buffs, but he would have to find them out with time. Cain jumped down the hole and used time skip, he flashed and appeared right above the bear. However Cyprise’s attack was extremely mediocre, so he swapped to Niel right before the blow landed.
The spear shot through the air with tremendous force. The Flying Magma Bear that had extremely strong defense, was sliced in two like a piece of butter. The spear attack continued travelling through the bears body and smashed into the floor, leaving behind a massive pit. Cain turned back to normal and looked ahead at the damage he had done. He was shocked to say the least. By using his different forms with good timing, he could truly maximise his strength, but it's not an easy thing to do. He mainly got lucky this time since the Flying Magma Bear didn’t have it’s guard up at all.

Cain grabbed the head of the beast, and walked off. He learned a lot from this experience, mainly about Cyprise’s form’s special ability. Which he named shadow walk, since it let him move by undetected. He wanted to test out his other form’s, and see if they also had similar special abilities. So he decided to stay in the Teratop Volcano area for a little longer. He walked towards another Volcano that was nearby and peaked in. This Volcano was also holding a Flying Magma Bear, but this one was awake. It looked up at Cain with eyes filled with fire. It’s massive wings spread apart and flapped once, shooting its entire body up towards Cain.
Cain decided not to dodge since he wanted to test Minos’s forms vitality. The giant Flying Magma Bear slammed into his body with full force, however he stood his ground no problem. Instead it was the Flying Magma Bear that got blasted back, smashing into the earth below. Cain was very satisfied with this vitality, even if he sat back and let the Flying Magma Bear do as it pleased, it wouldn’t be able to harm a hair on his body. However the flaw with this form was it was weak and slow, so the reverse was also true, and he could do nothing towards the bear.
Cain started thinking, the special ability of each form seemed to correlate with that life’s career. Hence Cyprise had shadow walk because he was the greatest thief in his past life. So the same should also stand true for Minos. The Flying Magma Bear stood up and shook the dirt out of its fur. It glared at Cain, seemingly wanting to rip him apart. It flapped its wings and flew towards him once more. This time though, Cain opened his mouth and tried to sing a lullaby he remembered in his youth.
The Flying Magma Bear that was originally filled with vigor and energy, suddenly got extremely snoozy. It’s eyes kept closing slightly before opening again, as if it was about to fall into a deep sleep. Cain suddenly changed his song, this time he sung about romance. The Flying Magma Bear’s eyes changed once more, now it wasn’t looking at Cain with hatred, instead it was looking at him like he was a priceless treasure that the Flying Magma Bear wanted for itself. Cain didn’t like this look at all, so he changed songs once more. Now it was a war song, about warriors going to battle. The Flying Magma Bear was suddenly filled with bloodlust, it looked at Cain like he was it’s greatest enemy of all time, as if the two had an enmity that could never be resolved unless one of them died.
Cain now learnt about Minos’s ability. He could influence others emotions through his music. Niel was the only one left, and Cain was really curious about what this form could do. Niel was a king, what were kings best at? The obvious answer would be ruling, whether through force or diplomacy. Cain looked at the Flying Magma Bear that was getting closer to him, and tried his best to imagine himself as a king that ruled the entire world. Suddenly an overwhelming aura spread out from his body, the aura landed on the Flying Magma Bear, suppressing it completely. The Flying Magma Bear’s body dropped to the earth, whimpering in fear. It’s eyes looked up at Cain filled with submission. Cain put his hand on the Flying Magma Bear’s head and released the aura. The Flying Magma Bear didn’t fight back, and instead rolled around Cain’s feet like a small puppy. This was his final ability, submission aura, an aura that forces weaker creatures to submit to Cain whole heartedly.
