"Dimitriv?"
"Yes?"
"I will kill you one day."
"Sure."
We chatted whilst treating the knocked out harpy who was lying on me. And with treating I mean that Komutzu's been grinding away the tumor in her spine, I could tell what it was and Komutzu could tell where it was.
I honestly thought she could take a stronger dose than that since it was my bite that knocked her out. Ever since then I could feel her slow hot breath on my neck and her flat chest on my back.
Arachnids, lamians, harpies and any other non-mammal beast Kin have absolutely flat chests like human male's. That one in the victorian capital? Brother, they're pads.
She starts to stirr and stretch a bit, dam, that was sooner than expected. She moved her head a bit and got into a position where even though she couldn't see my face. I could still feel her gaze.
"Ah, you're awake already."
"Yes, now tell me. Why shouldn't I kill you."
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
There was anger in her voice, understandably so. But I'm sure in just a moment she will calm down.
"You're still alive, no?"
I could feel her gaze soften for just a moment before it pierced me again.
"Where are we?"
"In the nest of the leader, so please behave."
She sat up and that's when she noticed Komutzu who has been silently grinding away at her tumor.
"Who's he?"
"Komutzu, our leader."
"A strider? Usually arachnids take the leader role."
"Are you complaining?"
"..."
Now, she probably imagined a big arachnid to be the leader like in common early stage spider-kin swarms, it didn't help that Komutzu is the shortest one from all of us. He lost a good amount of growth during the reattaching of his jaw.
"How long is this gonna take?"
She could probably feel what Komutzu has been up to. I look towards Komutzu.
"How long?"
"Define long."
"It's gonna take some time, get comfortable."
After a not natural sounding sigh she flaped her wings a few times to get into good position. After a while I could freely move my humanoid upper body and after turning around I saw how she turned into a fluffy ball of feathers only her head sticking out.
Oh yeah, forgot she could do that.
----------------------------------------
Deep in the forest where light doesn't reach.
There the moth fairy came across something. It's had pitch black scales were as colorless as her but the humanoid upper body had color to it. Just like her it was a being of darkness though not entirely the same. It wants to play, or so I guess. I? Oh, I'm becoming self aware which brings a lot more perspectives into things but that can wait.
It's not a fairy like me, no, its a spirit. It was born from the desires of its birtj place whilst I was born from the essencd of darkness.
Anyways she caught me, she's a lot better at it than me.
Huh? Where's she taking me now?
