Chapter 22: The arrival of the gold rank parties and the meeting.

In the dungeon, tenth floor.

Lucas had finally finished thinking about which option to choose and the option which he ended up choosing was The depths of Darkness.

[Ding, The depths of Darkness has now been chosen as the chained absolute law of the sixth to tenth floors.]

“Alright that should be it, now I can relax a little as I now have a pretty good buffer of floors since the challengers have only reached the fourth floor at best so I still have two boss floors and four normal floors as buffer floors.” said Lucas.

“So I doubt they would be able to clear these floors before I make new floors and also let me take a look at what these challengers are like as I had been too focused on making new floors so I had not paid much attention to these challengers.” said Lucas.

Then he started to spread his consciousness to the floors other than the tenth floor and as it continued expanding so did his senses as he started to be able to see,hear and even feel every entity present on these other floors.

Then after spending a few minutes getting used to the large amount of information which was being transmitted to his mind. He started to focus on the fourth floor where the party of challengers which had progressed the furthest were present and saw that they were currently fighting a pack of flame salamanders.

In the dungeon, fourth floor.

The explorer party had spent a good few hours going through the first and second floor then they also spent at least eight hours on the third before progressing to the fourth floor but this floor was so very hot that some of their weaker heat resistance gear's enchantments started to fail and as if that wasn't enough this floor was also full of weak terrain and elemental plants and monsters and their members Robin and Lukes's plant type skills and ice type skills are becoming way more weaker as they progress through the dungeon floors.

“Man I really hate this goddamn dungeon, it's so boiling hot and my ice skills are all so weakened as well.” said Luke with frustration.

To that Robin thought ‘well I have to agree with Luke on that as well as these floors have really been too damn annoying though Miles is still enjoying all this’. As he thought this he turned his eyes towards a cheerful Miles.

“Hey guys hurry up already, why are you guys so slow, we still have an entire floor to explore.” said Miles with a cheerful face and tone.

“Hey you hot headed idiot would you shut up, this floor has already annoyed all of us enough so please don't you start annoying us as well.” said Luke.

“Yeah I also think you should stop annoying us as we aren't fire type skill users like you are.” said Luna while Rebecca and Robin also nodded in agreement.

“Well if you guys keep being so slow then I will also keep being annoying.” said Miles.

As the explorer party was walking and chatting they were attacked by a pack of three flame salamanders. Though they had all levelled up quite a bit and became stronger so they defeated these flame salamanders pretty quickly.

“Man I must say we have gotten so much stronger than before, like remember before we had so much trouble fighting these flame salamanders but now they are no big deal at all.” said Robin.

After hearing this they all agreed as they had really gotten quite stronger than their former selves. Then after that fight with the pack of three flame salamanders they once again started to cautiously head towards the top of the fourth floor.

Meanwhile Lucas who had been watching them got surprised at the fact that he could understand these challengers or as they called themselves adventurers. Then after a few seconds he started to remember that he had a title which lets him understand all languages as he opened the title tab to take a look at the title.

This title is given to one who has travelled from another world to this world. It allows the holder to be able to understand,speak and write any language, even otherworldly languages.]

“Man I had completely forgotten about this title while I was busy making new floors, I really should pay more attention to what skills or titles I have.” said Lucas.

Then as he was returning his attention to the challengers he had an idea and started to look for a skill in the skills tab.

A skill which allows the user to be able to give any champion type monster which is their subordinate basic commands to follow.]

“Yes this is it, I can use this skill to give some basic commands to the elder flame salamander when it is fighting this challenger party.” said Lucas before starting to once again observe the explorer party and waiting for when they reach the elder flame salamander.

Meanwhile in the outskirts of Ashfall city.

A gold ranked adventurer party named Ironclad warriors was fighting a level 6 fire type monster called the Flaming sparrow which was a very big sparrow which had feathers made of fire which it shot to attack the adventurer party.

In this adventurer party there were a total of four members: one magician, two swordsmen who were twins and one summoner. When they were attacked the magician had immediately used a fire wall skill to defend them then the two swordsmen had immediately rushed towards the Flaming sparrow while the summoner used his elemental summon skill to summon three water sprites who also started to fire water spears at the Flaming sparrow.

Then though the Flaming sparrow managed to dodge two of the water spears it still got hit by the last one and lost balance and then as it was falling the two twin swordsmen both used their skills Flash strike in perfect unison and cut the falling Flaming sparrow in an x pattern.

“Well that was easy.” said Onel, one of the two twin swordsmen in the party. “I mean just how difficult did you expect it to be, after all that flaming sparrow was just a level 6.” said Leone, the other one of the twin swordsmen.

“Hey Dave, just how much further is this Ashfall city?” asked Lucy the magician of the party. “Well we should be almost there, just a little more of the way left.” said Dave, the leader and summoner of the party.

Then after this little chat they resumed their travel to Ashfall city. Though after they continued travelling for a while Leone asked Dave a question.

“Hey Boss, might you remind me why we are going to this Ashfall city again.” asked Leone.

“As I have said before we are going to Ashfall city because there's rumours that the first Ex-grade growth dungeon in the earth domain has opened in Ashfall city, so we are going to see if it's true or not after all we can't possibly miss a possible chance of exploring an Ex-grade growth dungeon.” said Dave.

Then as they continued travelling for quite a while they finally reached Ashfall city where many other gold ranked adventurer parties had also gathered for the possible chance of exploring an Ex-grade growth dungeon.

“Wow so many gold ranked adventurer parties are gathered here and look there are even some famous ones here.” said Onel.

“Indeed almost all the gold ranked adventurer parties in the earth domain have gathered here as no one wants to miss a possible chance of exploring an Ex-grade growth dungeon.” said Lucy.

“Anyways everyone let's first find some lodging for ourselves shall we.” said Dave.

Then all of them started to look for an inn to rest at and have some food.

Meanwhile in an unknown location.

Many people had gathered in this place all wearing enchantmented gear which hid their identity for the sole purpose of discussing what to do about this new Ex-grade growth dungeon.

This place was a large meeting room where a large round table was placed together with a magic communication orb which was floating in the middle of the table and projecting holograms of several important people in the seats around the table.

In total there were about thirty people gathered here of which nine were not present physically and were using the communication orb to meet the others.

Also there were many maids who served refreshments and food to the people attending the meeting who were actually present physically.

Then as the maids finished serving the food and refreshments to the people attending this meeting, the person sitting in the northernmost seat who was wearing a smiling mask started to speak.

“First I would like to thank everyone who has gathered for this meeting and I know that you all must be wondering why I called this meeting.” said the man in the smiling mask.

“You see I called this meeting because I have Intel that a new Ex-grade growth dungeon has opened up in the earth domain.” said the man in the smiling mask, hearing which all people's interest in the meeting perked up.

“And I would like to propose that we, the members of the shadow hall, capture this new Ex-grade growth dungeon for the shadow hall.” said the man in the smiling mask, hearing which all the people attending the meeting started to discuss among themselves.

“Hmm I can see where you are coming from Mr.smile but how exactly do you propose that we capture the new Ex-grade growth dungeon after all it's the first Ex-grade growth dungeon in the earth domain so the spirit king of the earth domain Ragnarock would most certainly do his best to guard it.” asked one of the people attending the meeting who was wearing a faceless grey mask.

“Well I have of course taken the earth spirit king in consideration before proposing this idea, so I have placed spies among the gold ranked adventurer parties who were assigned the task of exploring the new Ex-grade growth dungeon by the spirit king, who will immediately take action when commanded to.” said Mr.smile, hearing which all the people questioning his proposal started to quiet down.

“Ah I see, thank you for indulging my curiosity but if it isn't too much to ask, might you tell us what do you need our help with exactly.” asked the person wearing the faceless grey mask.

“Of course it's no problem, you see I would like you people attending this meeting to lend me some of your connections and spies as I intend to completely take over the Ashfall city from the inside, also I would like you people to help me take care of the other gold ranked adventurer parties gathered in Ashfall city.” said Mr.smile, hearing which the people attending the meeting started to show their understanding.

“Ah I see, then Mr.smile you have our utmost support in your endeavour.” said the person wearing the faceless grey mask and nine people attending the meeting other agreed to this as well.

“Excellent, I am thankful for all of you people's support.” said Mr.smile.

Then after this many other people also discussed their plans and ideas for a couple of hours.

Then after all the talk was done for this meeting the people who had gathered started to exit the meeting, some just walked while some used teleportation items or spells.

Then after this meeting was done and everyone had left Mr.smile who had hosted the meeting this time also got up to leave wearing a smile beneath his mask in anticipation of capturing the Ex-grade growth dungeon.
