Chapter 18: The seventh and eighth floors completed.

In the capital city of the southern earth elemental domain in Cystalia, Desmond,in the royal palace, the spirit king's throne room.

‘My lord Ragnarock,I have news that an Ex-grade growth dungeon has finally opened in our southern earth elemental domain.’ said a figure cloaked in darkness.

‘Hmm,have you verified the news or did you bring me unverified news?.’ asked the massive giant of a figure who was sitting atop the golden throne with a gaze which looked as if he could see through a creature's true nature without letting them hide anything.

‘Yes my lord, I have verified this news multiple times before informing you as I do not dare inform you of any unverified news.’ said the figure cloaked in darkness though this time one could clearly see a bead of sweat travelling down the figure's face in fear.

‘Oh, finally after such a long time of waiting I will finally have my own Ex-grade growth dungeon.’ said the enthroned figure with happiness evident in its tone.

‘Excellent work bringing me this news now go and inform the gold rank adventurer parties in our domain to immediately investigate this new Ex-grade growth dungeon without further delay,now go!’ ordered the enthroned figure after hearing which the figure cloaked in darkness immediately merged into the darkness and disappeared leaving an empty throne room with only the laughter of the enthroned figure still echoing.

Meanwhile in the dungeon, seventh floor.

Lucas had finally figured out how to use the elemental terrain templates.

‘Man figuring out how to use these elemental terrain templates was way harder than I thought it would be.’ said Lucas with an annoyed tone at the unexpected difficulty.

‘Though once you know it, it is pretty easy like I just have to imagine the floor getting covered in an undersea forest and the undersea forest template will activate and cover the entire floor though it looks like I can't have multiple elemental terrain templates on the same floor at the current level of the terrain manipulation skill though I might be able to if the skill becomes higher levelled.’ said Lucas.

After this he immediately started to use the skill terrain manipulation to cover the entire seventh floor in the undersea forest elemental terrain template.

Then after he was done covering the seventh floor in the undersea forest elemental terrain template he immediately started putting monsters throughout the floor.

First he put forty shooting lobstars and thirty torpedo rays throughout the seventh floor then he also put eighty horned shallow fish and fifty armoured crabs throughout the floor and quite a few wave turtles as they weren't as powerful underwater as they were on the beach or other coastal water surface.

Then he started putting elemental plants throughout the seventh floor by first putting sixty fake life coral and quite a bit of predating green carpet in an area of the seventh floor.

Then he also put several batches of bubble trapper elemental plants throughout the seventh floor together with a few obsidian energy trees spread sparsely throughout the seventh floor.

While doing this he has also noticed that all elemental plants whether they are terrestrial or aquatic can be placed on a floor and they will change accordingly to accommodate to the floor.

So he also tried putting some floating Infernal flowers and if actually worked out just fine though its explosive power and range of spore coverage were reduced by quite a bit.

Then to give the finishing touches to placing the elemental plants on the seventh he also put many sea flame corals and burning grass throughout the floor which brought a lot of colour to the floor.

After finishing the seventh floor he had then used his skill floor designation to designate the eighth dungeon floor and then used his terrain manipulation skill to cover the entire floor in the deep sea dead land elemental terrain template to give the floor a underwater battlefield vibe.

Then he also put hordes of all the aquatic monsters he had access to which were sometimes as large as forty monsters in a single horde which to a challenger will be a real trial no doubt about that.

‘Oh yeah now that I think about it, can my terrestrial monsters also adapt to any floor I put them on huh, system.’ asked Lucas with curiosity.

[The host can only use a limited number of terrestrial monsters on a non terrestrial floor which is different for each floor but this floor allows two.]

[Also putting monsters which don't belong somewhere forcefully decreases their combat power by quite a bit and at worse could decrease drastically.]

‘Hmm I see,so that's how it is then let's also try and use some of my terrestrial monsters on this floor as well.’ said Lucas.

Then he tried putting each of his terrestrial monsters on this dungeon floor and then settled on the two who were the least penalised on this floor which were the flame salamanders and the scorching sand worms.

First the flame salamanders surprisingly almost changed the primary element of fire to water when put on this floor and turned into monsters known as fake water

A unique monster which was born from a flame salamander who was trying to turn their fire into sea fire by absorbing the water element and living in the water but ended up in failure and lost their fire in the process so,now they use basic water magic to fight their enemies and have the ability to use water for faster regeneration when injured.]

Also the scorching sand worms had also changed into the freezing sea worms when put on this floor which completely removed their connection to the fire element.

A unique monster born from a scorching sand worm who was trying to evolve into a fire and ice butterfly by trying to eat a sea fire as nutrients to evolve but ended up failing and completely losing its earth and fire element together with its sanity and turning into a mindless sea worm which now just aimlessly burrows through the sea bed using its ice cold body and devouring all life in its path and leaving only ice cold death behind in its wake.]

This was a monster type which Lucas only put four or five of on the entire floor as he was afraid of putting too many as they might just end up eating and killing all the other monsters so he just put four or five of them and also made sure that they were quite a bit away from all the other monsters.

Then after completing the eighth floor seeing as he no longer had more floors to make he decided to simply take a nap while he waited for a level up.
