Chapter 14: The boss floor

In the dungeon, fifth floor.

Lucas had finally finished deciding which two elemental plants to choose and had come to the decision of choosing the Floating Infernal flower and the Obsidian Energy Tree as the two new elemental plants.

After which he checked how far the challengers had reached in the dungeon and after seeing that the challengers who were the most ahead had only entered the desert area of the second floor he had immediately started putting the two new elemental plants throughout the dungeon.

First he put some floating infernal flowers in the lava pools of the second floor and then he put some obsidian energy trees in the desolate basalt plains of the third floor together with some floating infernal flowers in the other half of the third floor.

Then he put many floating infernal flowers throughout the fourth floor and he had also put some floating infernal flowers at the top of the fourth floor where the elder flame salamander was with the ten flame salamanders.

Though he had also put some burning grass around the floating infernal flowers because he had discovered that the burning heat it emits in its surroundings increases the explosive power of the spores of the floating infernal flowers.

After finishing putting the two new elemental plants throughout the dungeon he then started putting the two new elemental plants throughout the fifth floor or the boss floor which he had learned from the system while he was putting the two new elemental plants throughout the dungeon.

The system has explained to him that the fifth floor was the boss floor where the strongest monster I placed would be recognised as the boss monster and receive an overall power boost.

And the system also explained how he will be able to choose his second elemental specialisation after completing the boss floor.

So he had gotten started on putting the new elemental plants throughout the boss floor.

First he put many floating infernal flowers together with burning grass along the obsidian bridge.

After which he also put multiple obsidian energy trees throughout the obsidian bridge and he also put many obsidian energy trees in the colosseum at the end of the boss floor where the molten metal golem together with thirty magma golems are present.

And the reason behind him placing so many obsidian energy trees throughout the colosseum and the fifth floor is Because of a system message he had gotten which was as follows.

[Champion collector lvl 1

A growth type title given to one who has more than one champion type monster as their subordinate. This title gives the holder access to the skill monster champion commander.]

[Monster champion commander lvl 1

A skill which allows the user to be able to give any champion type monster which is their subordinate basic commands to follow.]

After he had gotten this system message while he was contemplating which two elemental plants to choose he had immediately chosen the obsidian energy tree as one of the two elemental plants to choose.

Because he is going to use his monster champion commander skill to command all magma golems to break the outer shell of the obsidian energy tree when the monsters see that they are losing to use the destructive power of the obsidian energy tree as an one last Trump card.

And this will be even more useful in the boss battle as the molten metal golems defence together with its power useful survival skills allow it to continuously break the outer shell of obsidian energy trees as an means of attacking as it's defence ensure the core is unharmed in the explosion while it's reconstruction and other survival skills allow it to recover quickly.

Other than the molten metal golem which will serve as this floors boss and the thirty magma golems present in the colosseum at the end of the fifth floor their were also sixty flame salamanders spread throughout the obsidian bridge together with thirty magma golems and one hundred twenty lava eels spread throughout the sea of lava in the fifth floor under the obsidian bridge.

‘Man I really wonder how any human can even challenge this floor or even survive on it when a challenger party with human members comes here. Now that's something to look forward to.’ said Lucas with curiosity.

‘Also system show me the absolute laws available for this floor.’ asked Lucas.

[Due to this floor being a boss floor only two unique options are available to choose from which are as follows:

1.No water or ice allowed:

This rule makes it so that no water or ice abilities or skills can be used on this dungeon floor.

2.Time of dehydration:

This rule makes it so that if the challengers do not finish this floor within a time limit then they would die of dehydration.]

‘Hmm both choices are pretty good but the time limit one is more appealing in my opinion so I choose the second absolute law Time of dehydration’ said Lucas.

[The second absolute law Time of dehydration has now been chosen as the absolute law of the fifth floor]

‘Alrighty that should be all done for the boss floor.’ said Lucas.

And while Lucas had finished the fifth floor Miles' party had entered the desert area.
