Complete terrain manipulation of the dungeon floor]
Ah..finally I am awake, Man that was not what I had expected. I thought that it would be like sleeping but instead, it was more like being knocked out. Anyways let's see what changed Status.

Title
The otherworlder]
Holy shit man, the fire affinity skill is way better than I thought it would be, with this skill my mana capacity just tripled when using fire mana. Then after seeing the new skill I also read through all the earlier messages from the system.
So System can you explain what is considered having completed the terrain manipulation of a dungeon floor?
[The terrain manipulation of a dungeon floor would be considered completed when a suitable environment has been created for dungeon plants and monsters to inhabit. ]
I see then let's first create a room for my dungeon core. After deciding what to do first I activated my terrain manipulation skill to flatten the entire dungeon floor to make it into a blank sheet for me to draw on as I liked. Hmm let's see I think I am gonna have a lava river going through the center of the floor dividing it in half then I will have a forest on the east half and plains on the west half.
Then I used my terrain manipulation skill to create a river through the middle of the floor dividing it in half and I tried using the creation function of the terrain manipulation skill to create lava.
[Would you like to create lava to fill the river using mana
Yes or No]
Oh looks like it will work after all and yes I would like to create lava.
[15 fire mana will be consumed during the process. Would you like to continue?
Yes or no]
Yes, as soon as I finished replying I suddenly felt something leave my body and then a ball of flowing lava appeared above the river slowly flowing down and filling the river with lava.
Woah that's neat and it looks like that fire affinity skill is already showing its worth as I only lost 5 mana instead of 15. After marveling at the magical scene before my eyes. I created a square room with four pillars at the edges which had giant serpents coiling around them with the pedestal carrying the dungeon core in the middle of the room and had a hallway leading here from the western part of the dungeon floor
Now I just have to wait a while for lava to fill the river and then the quest should be done. After waiting for a couple of minutes three messages from the system came.
[The terrain manipulation of the first floor has been completed]
[The dungeon core obtained 20 exp.]

Oh a new message, so system what can this exp be used for?
[The dungeon core can increase its level by acquiring exp]
I see so it's like the leveling up in video games huh. Anyways from the looks of it, I am not even halfway through leveling up so no use mulling over it now. Activate the plant creation skill.
[Plant creation menu
Choose your first elemental plant
Burning grass (unique)(fire)
A unique fire elemental grass which is constantly emitting a burning heat that burns any creature who touches them.
Windy lily (wind)
An uncommon wind elemental plant that constantly has a ring of fast-moving wind surrounding its flower.
Rocky coconut (earth)
An uncommon earth elemental plant which has rock-solid coconuts which serve as a defense mechanism for the tree by falling on top of any creature which comes under the tree.]
System, What is an elemental plant?
[An elemental plant is a plant that has elemental mana in it and can use magic of that specific element to help protect it from other creatures.]
I see that means they are plants that know how to use magic of a specific element to protect themselves, then they like traps that I can set throughout the floor. After spending some time thinking about the possible ways I can use the elemental plants in.
My attention reverts to the choices of elemental plants I can choose, I pondered over them for a while before coming to a decision. System I choose the burning grass.
[The dungeon core has selected the burning grass as its first elemental plant]
After selecting my first elemental plant I then got access to many non-elemental plant types which I could use to decorate the dungeon floor and the best feature about them is that they are automatically changed to fit their environment. For example, I could place a mushroom that grows in dark places in a bright place and the Plant creation skill would automatically change it so that it could grow in a bright environment.
I placed a forest comprising many types of plants in the eastern half of the dungeon floor and placed a lush plain on the western half of the dungeon floor while placing the burning grass in the middle part surrounding the lava river
Nice, looks beautiful now the completion message should be coming soon.

Create monsters for the dungeon floor]
What, I did not get any exp this time, I thought every time I completed a part of the dungeon floor I would get exp but looks like I was wrong.
Whatever who cares about exp anyway let's just continue progressing the quest. System activate the skill Monster Creation.
[Monster creation menu
Choose your first 4 monsters
Lava eels (unique)(fire)
Lava eels are unique monsters that live in lava ponds, lakes, and rivers and can shoot lava at their enemies and when there are more than 2 of them they can use their lava magic to cause lava waves to drown their enemies in lava.
Storm rabbits (rare)(wind)
Storm rabbits are rare monsters
Which live in stormy regions and can use wind magic to increase their speed and attack using their powerful hind legs.
Forest guard wolves (rare)(earth)
Forest guard wolves are rare monsters that live in forests and can use wood magic on the abundant trees of the forest to fight.
Wind hawks (uncommon)(wind)
Wind hawks are uncommon monsters that live in forests and can use wind magic to propel their feathers to attack and hunt.
Flame salamanders (rare)(fire)
Flame salamanders are uncommon monsters that live in volcanic regions and can cover their body in fire to defend and attack against enemies.
Iron tusk boars (uncommon)(earth)
Iron tusk boars are uncommon monsters that live in open plains and as their name implies have iron-like tusks reinforced by earth magic which they use to skewer their enemies.]
Hmm, this is a pretty tough choice to make, they are all so good after all but since I can only choose four then let's choose the monsters which complement each other the best. Then after spending a while pondering I finally made a choice.
System I choose lava eels, storm rabbits, forest guard wolves, and flame salamanders.
[The dungeon core has selected lava eels, storm rabbits, forest guard wolves, and flame salamanders as its first monsters]
Now time to populate the floor with monsters. First, the storm rabbits will be in the northern part of the forest while the forest guard wolves will be in the southern part of the forest.
After deciding where to put them I started by creating 15 of each of them and not more as each of them took 1 mana each to create though I did learn that in the future. If the mob is killed then the respawn cost will only be a quarter of its price other than that I also discovered that I could see the levels of the monsters I created and from my observation they were all level 1.
After making the monsters in the forest area I started to place monsters in the lava river area, specifically 15 lava eels were placed by me in the lava river and while placing them I made sure they were in groups of three so that they could use their lava wave ability to fight when fighting intruders.
Then after having placed the lava eels throughout the lava river I started placing flame salamanders in the plains area and by the end. I had placed a total of 60 monsters throughout the dungeon floor which were 15 storm rabbits, 15 forest guard wolves, 15 lava eels, and 15 flame salamanders. This time also the skill fire affinity showed its worth, while I needed 30 mana to make the monsters in the forest I only had to use 10 mana to make the other two monsters
Though just as I was about to announce that my floor was completed an unexpected system message came.
[The dungeon core has obtained 1 exp]
What the, how did I suddenly get exp out of nowhere? Just as I was starting to wonder where I got the exp from I noticed that one of my forest guard wolves had been killed.
I immediately turned my attention to that place and found out that a level 2 storm rabbit was hopping victoriously on top of a forest guard wolf's corpse and then I started to put two and two together and understood how I had gotten that exp before.
This storm rabbit must have killed that forest guard wolf and then leveled up because I am absolutely certain that there were only level 1 monsters on this dungeon floor. That also means that when living creatures are killed inside my dungeon I also get exp and not just the creature who killed it.
While thinking about the implications this new discovery of mine might have I respawned the killed forest guard wolf and also confirmed that I only had to pay a quarter of the original price to respawn creatures.
Hmm, I just had an amazing idea to farm exp but before that let's complete the quest. System this dungeon floor is now complete. As soon as I announced that the floor was completed a system message came.
